  1. It never ceases to amaze me how many horrible slayers there are on TIF.
  2. Wow, if only I lived in the UK. It sounds like it'd be pretty cool.
  3. Proselyte platebody, Verac's skirt, fire cape, berserker ring, whip, defender, slayer helm, fury, dragon boots, barrows gloves, and dragon claws for specs. Spend the rest of the money on prayer potions and super sets. Congratulations, you're now a better slayer. EDIT: Alternatively, do Nomad's Requiem and switch out the fire cape and proselyte plate for a SW cape and Bandos chestplate.
  4. This. You have some cool stats, too.
  5. Takes two minutes. It wont kill you (not like Soul Wars or MA will).
  6. Needless to say, this thread has strayed pretty far from the topic. I, too, am interested in the buckler-thing.
  7. That's because they're new and overpriced, not for the same reason as Godswords and SS. apologies i should know this but what is a "sol"? Staff of Light.
  8. A lot of bad things happened to you in a very short period of time, it would seem. :P
  9. Well they better change this attitude when it comes to catastrophies like this skill. A lot of us are worried about if this skill is eventually going to have a use for training it, not just 1 reward for 80 levels of hard work. Take a look at the Blizzard corporation and how much more successful their game is. Even though WoW costs essentially 3x more to play, they have around 3x as many people who pay to play it. It's because when it comes to major game updates they let you know WAY in advance when something will happen to the gameplay mechanics so that you have time to prepare and/or share your opinion on it. Then, once the content is finished, they put it into beta testing with select players on test realms which means that upon official release the content will virutally be bugless, excluding perhaps one or two bugs that aren't game breaking like the ones Jagex releases. If they want to be considered a serious major corporation, they better start acting like one. Hiding major game decisions from your players without allowing them initial feedback just solely for the fact of "we want it to be a surprise," is not a good enough justification. I want to know if my game is going in a direction I'm at least content with before I keep subscribing. I don't like being left in the dark about something I pay for simply because they think it'll be fun like a surprise birthday party. I completely, 100% agree with you. It's getting very old.
  10. I think I remember you raging in the cc when you failed to KO the dude with the arcane. You need a hug. :(
  11. Would you let a new guy continue an existing storyline? Sure, since on this project he'll be working with two others, it could be done the same way on an existing storyline. I wouldn't do one of the more important ones like the elves, Myreque or MoTM, but I think they could certainly put him on Pirates or Penguins. I guess the newcomers can't all have thew chance to do stupid holiday events which would be better. :P As far as I'm aware, certain developers take care of certain questlines or aspects of Runescape, meaning that Developer A takes care of all Myreque quests, Developer B takes care of the Elves, etc. Ravian is right: They wouldn't just hand an old questline to a new developer unless that questline's previous developer gave it up (like with the dwarves).
  12. I agree with everyone who says that the rule would be much too difficult to properly enforce. Like Bladewing said, it's the GE that needs to be fixed first.
  13. That's a perfect imitation. Well done. My only critique is that you need a lot more >.>'s, [bleep]s, and [cabbage]s.
  14. agreed, its the only reason im training the damned skill to begin with Thirded. I'm really hoping that it's just a few people trying to troll.
  15. I'm really looking forward to these quests. Maybe my full void will come in handy. ;) And I want that sword. :geek:
  16. They failed so badly with the KB. It kind of reminds me of that one time with that RTS minigame they attempted . . .
  17. This argument applies to slayer, too.
  18. You guys and gals really need to stop referring to the Did You Knows as DYKs. You're cracking me up. Twenty years old and you'd never know it.
  19. No. The Elysian might take a minuscule hit, but the Divine is decidedly superior to any of these shields, and is much cheaper to use and maintain.
  20. I'm definitely getting an arcane stream necklace before I get a bonecrusher.
  21. It'll likely be the case that a Jad task is much more worthwhile than a Duradel "slayer tower crawl."
  22. I'm kind of shocked that the tokens required for the chaotic shields and weapons were reduced. I guess I can't really complain, though. I'm definitely getting a bonecrusher now.
  23. We know that he is. He's mentioned in Zemouregals's notes.
  24. I'm pretty much used to it.
  25. I'm all for test servers. Working, bug-free updates are more important than surprises, IMO. Whether it be handpicked players or an open beta, Jagex needs to implement test servers in one way or another.
