Training Combat
Probably a little atypical as far as advice goes, but I think going for a quest cape is a great way for lower-level players to get levels, better gear, and some MHing experience (Nomad and other quest bosses). I mean, it'll only benefit you in the long run to complete every quest, and you'll get a lot of combat experience (both literal and figurative) from it. You're at a low enough combat level to where doing quests will really help. /two cents

Runescape has gone to the dogs
then how is it that you are getting crashed? shouldn't it be 50:50 if what you said is true? If it's a 1v1 scenario, then yeah the kills generally go 50:50 (i use defender, where others use shields) However a lot of the time people also have dfeenders, and just better gear (chaotics, fury, etc) which comes down to grinding certain things for money/experience, not in skill Oh, and getting crashed by duo/trio teams is next to impossible to win... as at least one of their team will always have full special, and i'd have to constantly chug spec recovers to compete You do realize that every every single MMO in existence rewards players for having better gear, right? If you're suffering because your gear isn't as good, guess what you should do? I've been soloing TDs since before extremes, turmoil, and chaotics, and it's still easy to find empty worlds these days. Your problem is that you're using Bandos GWD to make money, which is the single most [developmentally delayed]ed thing you could possibly do unless you're completely maxed with maxed gear (and even then it's [developmentally delayed]ed). Suck it up and get your chaotics, then go to TDs and camp TDs/waterfiends till you have a yak, then you can spend the rest of your days at TDs/DKs making money.

Holy [cabbage], nice Tui. 19 minute floor AND you took zerker from Gwyn and Nick. And congratulations on the blood neck, Greg. Seriously it seems like every 100+ dungeoneer I know has a blood neck, and it's just in the past couple weeks. Weird. EDIT: Added a 45 defense requirement. This shouldn't affect anyone, really. It's the defense level at which you can wield a SSH, so we believe it's more than reasonable.

Whoa dude that really sucks. ;-; But the six months membership is LOL. Did they drop your chaotics/void?

My aspiration for a Torva Platebody
You should give DGS a shot. You might end up liking dungeoneering enough to get a rapier.

For your first time, that's not bad at all. Keying is hard for most people at first. You just gotta practice practice practice.

You have some options. I'll list a few real quick: 2h + rapier 2h/baxe + blood neck 2h/baxe + hexhunter 2h/baxe + celestial staff I think those are probably the most useful.

Primal battleaxe has more strength and slightly less accuracy than the longsword, thus the battleaxe is better, and if you're already using the battleaxe, you don't really need the maul. It's better to have two weapons that excel in all three styles than two weapons that are mediocre in one style and barely better in another, respectively. Thus, the best melee weapon combination is a 2h + rapier.

Getting the cape from Hans would be funny, I think. Even funnier if you can threaten him to give it to you.

I really like this video. Also, 110 dg tomorrow most likely, but I'm gonna be pretty busy this week. :/

Next time I see you, I'm making you key a floor or two for me. ;) One more level and the real dungeoneering starts.

I like how you insult maxed players when the only thing you're missing is a chaotic weapon. How are you any less "no-life" than me? Anyway, I don't understand why people think Runescape isn't competitive. The fact that you felt compelled to make this thread proves otherwise. You should like, get better at MHing so a) you can't be crashed and b) you stop making stupid threads.

I'm averaging 32:30. <_< Granted I've only keyed seven floors since the update. It would be really nice if every t11 item was worth using, I agree, but that's probably way too much to ask of Jagex. EDIT: It's viable for you to start using DGS as soon as you can access f30, but it'lll be difficult to find teams at first. Other than that, your binds are good and I like your attitude. Make sure to upgrade your zerker ring as required.

How are you doing barrows, if I may ask? I love barrows. It's probably comparable to frost dragons for me, but much less clicking and much more entertaining.

Binding anything other than a 2h/baxe before 100 dungeoneering will severely hinder the entire team (including a hex, but the rarity of the bow warrants an exception). It's unfortunate, but that's Jagex for you. Just as bad as all the other floors  (guessing) Soulgazers are more common the deeper you descend into Daemonheim. ;) However, they're still incredibly rare. The drop rate is 1/16, which is the same for most slayer monsters in dungeoneering (not night spiders, unfortunately). Green already kinda answered this, but I'll add that you can expect a 5-10% increase in DPS with a blood necklace (numbers courtesy of Grimy and Ancient). You have the right idea about using it, too - just try to always position yourself in such a way that you have most monsters in the room next to you. Also, the quickest way to draw aggro is to remove your hood. ;) But yeah, blood necklace is a great bind. EDIT: I should compile a compendium of useful bind combinations for 100+ dungeoneers. I don't know how useful it'd be, exactly, but too many non-keyers use platebodies when they could be maximizing offense.

Dread is easy, but definitely takes longer than before (can't solo). It's exactly like team Zilyana - just run in a big square when he targets you while everyone else stands back and shoots. You get hit with a ranged attack once in awhile, but I just use soul split. I'm not 100% sure about Hope yet. So far I've tried binding and gating out if he's targeting me when he starts moving again. There's probably a better way, though. I know Tui has a different method. @ Sir Izenhime: I like Gulega now. Nine times out of ten I can do Gulega without taking damage. :P

It'd be nice if blue charms were more common so we could use deathslingers throughout the floor. Familiar binds would certainly be interesting.

Except for World-gorger. [bleep] World-gorger. <_< Its not that hard, exactly, but it has insane defense and is just annoying.

Eh, that's a cynical way to look at it. We enjoy showing people the ropes -- if we didn't, this clan would be exclusive and 100+. But like Green said, when we ask for floors, we take the first five people to raise their hands. Not getting onto a floor with a ranked keyer means two things: 1) You weren't there when the floors were being advertised, and 2) you should probably take some initiative and host your own floors. And in regards to #2, a LOT of unranked users have been keying for themselves lately, which makes me extremely happy. The goal of every person using DGS longterm should be to become a consistent keyer, so the influx of people striving for that is really cool. Also, kinda unrelated, but due to the timer on the winterface, I was thinking maybe we could host monthly competitions for fastest floors. I imagine two categories - ranked and unranked keyers (it wouldn't be fair to anyone if Grimy and Games won every month :P). I don't know what the prizes or incentives would be other than just having fun trying to improve your own times (I guess maybe a custom banner for a signature? Maybe?), but that's not really important. Would anyone be interested in that?
