  1. I really don't get the first article. 1. Describe overloads. 2. Tell us that they are, in fact, good. 3. Firemaking and crafting. 4. ???? 5. DISCUSS! But really, what point were you trying to convey? I'm genuinely confused by it. There currently aren't any situations where other players should be aware that you have overloads.
  2. double the dps of a primal 2h with turmoil on t11 mages. ;)
  3. I've seen at least 1/3 of my gazers in occult floors. ;)
  4. This. Easily 150k/h or more. Pick up herbs, talismans, bones, etc. Kill them in the house in Edgeville.
  5. When you have to constantly call someone to open doors for you, your floors times will be affected by how fast they respond. If your friend is slowing your floors down because he's slow to react, you should talk to him about it.
  6. I dont plan on doing the second or third. So 70+ skills wont make a difference? I thought I could get away with that. If there's a single person on the team with higher skills than you, it'll throw the Force out of balance. The only way to guarantee that you can open every door is to be the highest total on the team. It's something you have to learn to work around as a keyer. No, nothing like that.
  7. I pretty much agree with this. I don't care (nor does it affect me) one way or the other, but I really only have "respect" ( ) for useful 99's, 99's that the person actually enjoyed getting, and 99's for the purpose of maxing total.
  8. @ Eric My only criticisms are that you should gate more and be faster with opening skill doors. You tend to be better when we're on Skype, too, interestingly enough. :P
  9. L2listen is from UDG. Further proof that UDG sucks.
  10. We kick them and ban them. We've been very strict about keeping the idiots out.
  11. If there's anyone in DGS who can help you, they won't have a problem doing so. Tell them Obtaurian sent you. :P
  12. THANKS BROSKI. Party at my house tonight, apparently, so no dging.
  13. Dung Smith clan chat will make you one. And FYI, warhammers are totally useless. ;) Stick with the 2h.
  14. Hey everyone, DGS has come a long way in just two months - it wasn't long ago that the clan chat had maybe ten people in it at peak times! From the beginning our goals have been very simple: 1) We want to teach people to be better at Dungeoneering and 2) we want to provide a place for Tipiters to find floors of higher quality than 117/148. However, after watching the clan chat evolve and progress in these two short months, we feel it necessary to expand on these goals while simultaneously narrowing the scope of our target audience, so to speak. While we understand that everyone begins their Dungeoneering careers with chaotics and frost dragons in mind, we would like to focus our attention on people who want to dungeoneer beyond level 100. Reason being is that stopping at level 85 does not allow us adequate time to really teach anyone anything. But further than that, we want people who are willing to contribute to the overall Dungeoneering discussion - we want people who want to discuss and test new ideas and methods; we want people who want to give back to the Dungeoneering community in some way, whether by testing new methods and collecting data or turning around and teaching newbies what they've learned. However, this does not mean that we're adding a level requirement or turning people away, etc. This is more of a clarification of our intentions and goals rather than an actual change in practice or procedure. Beware the fleshy tentacles, Obtaurian
  15. I've been doing it for like 30m exp now without a problem, and I get meatshield a lot.
  16. It's very, very hard to use a hex properly and get berserker. If I take zerker from my teammates, it means they were bad or lazy (or there were five hexes on the team). EDIT: Wait, you mean using your berserker ring? All hexers should have their rings set to zerker/sniper and switch appropriately. It's not hard.

Because it's a temporary update that adds nothing to the game while taking development time away from permanent projects. I feel like I'm repeating myself. Please keep up.

Very faulty reasoning. Very, very faulty. MA was delayed nearly a year and god knows how long it was in production before that. Guess what? MA is one of the worst updates of all time. Development time has no correlation to how good an update is. Furthermore, anyone who knows anything about Jagex project development (which everyone should if they read Q&A's and Dev Blogs) knows that they spend months on every holiday update, minimum. You know what else is faulty reasoning? "I don't like these updates so it's a waste of resources and money". False causation. I dislike these updates BECAUSE they are a waste of resources and money, not the other way around.
  19. The trim is hideous. I'll wait for my 10 year cape, thanks.

I don't see how or why it could be any of the three options listed. Care to elaborate on how one-off, resource-hogging updates are good for the game? They are not bad for the game in any way (name one holiday event that ended up having a bad effect on the game and didn't introduce a tradeable holiday item). In addition, most tend to be pretty fun. They are a nice change from endless grinding and if you don't like them, you can go back to taking the soul out of Dungeoneering or something. I can name four very important ways they negatively affect the game: They require RESOURCES, MONEY, DEVELOPERS, and TIME that should be spent on permanent updates. According to the new trolling rules, your last comment was unnecessary and reportable. Please watch how you post in the future. Thanks. :)
  21. Livid Farm looks interesting. Excited for the clan updates. New death mechanics are WTF-worthy, but nice I guess. Holiday event is [developmentally delayed]ed, as per usual. And yeah, group vengeance better be available in dg. I can see it being somewhat useful.
  22. Wow dude. Holy [cabbage]. Don't stake man. I don't know what I'd do if you quit.
