Dungeonsweepers (DGS) - Huge changes; read first post.
Hey, just so everyone knows, every "official" Runescape clan has a private forum on the main Runescape site. It's pretty simple, but it could potentially be very useful for DGS. You'll find the keyer application there, too. http://services.runescape.com/m=clan-home/c=vcrTyWx75fU/clan/DGS EDIT: Reposting this for good measure:

Hey everyone, here's some info on changes to DGS in regards to the clan updates: - You can now be in three chats at once: friend chat, clan chat, and guest clan chat. - Under the new system, the DG Sweepers chat is a friend chat. - The clan chat for DGS is . . . DGS. - You'll have to join DGS as a guest at first. - If you want to DGS to be your "clan," ask an admin to invite you (must do this "in person" in-game). Once you're invited you'll have access to the cape and banner, but other than that there's no benefit. - We'll be closing the DG Sweepers chat very soon. I know. Very confusing. - We're changing certain ranks around to give more people kick/ban powers in the chat. We were hoping that the update would allow us to select specific people, but this is not the case. As such, the ranks are going to be very messy. <_< New chat mods are: Enaid Anwen Zaaptastic Gwynrwyn Rykudo However, they still retain their original titles as keyers and wingmen/women. Color-coded (sorry Ali and Final). Each 'potion=second' matches up to the herbs of the same color, and the 'val = mage = lyco' means that those three herbs make the various strengths of that potion. So the green 'val=mage=lyco' matches up with the green 'melee=claw,' meaning that you'd use, say, a mage + claw to make a normal melee potion. Hopefully that makes sense. I tried to make my potions list as intuitive as possible. I highly recommend that all serious dungeoneers do this until they can memorize it completely.

It's funny, everyone's been complaining about trolls for so long, then when they finally do figure out what to do about them, the complaints are worse. Did Jagex infiltrate the highest ranks of TIF or something? Or is there a "he who fights monsters" kind of thing going on? Nice Nietzsche reference. :P Bladewing was blunt, but he helped a looooottt of people. Not worth banning him.

Dungeoneering Tips and Tricks
Hey Bassy, just wanted to offer a little critique. ;) In your rings section, remove any mention of tactician and tank. Keyers should be on offensive rings and should only use gatherer (which is better than tank for keying, by the way) if they don't have a csb/hex. So in conclusion, your rings should look like this: 1. Primary: -Berserker. 2. Secondary: - Blazer is better than blitzer from t1 to t9, but blitzer is better raw DPS at t10. However, blazer is better for kiting. Thus, use blitzer, but switch to blazer for dreadnaught. - Hex users should use sniper. Desperado's effect does not stack with the hex effect on mobs. Furthermore, ammo conservation is an issue for hex users, so the slower fire rate of sniper helps a little. Sniper is also better, tactically, for sniping (no pun I swear) mages in GDs and bad puzzle rooms.

Solo bandos guide?
http://forum.tip.it/topic/189128-solo-bandos-guide/ ^ Go to the super hardcore soloing section. It's a little out-of-date, so I'll list some changes and such: - Use a chaotic rapier, longsword, or maul. Preferably a combination of two of them. - Use the maul or longsword for Graar and rapier (with a dragon defender) for minions. - When using the maul, time your hits so that they line up with Graar's as such that you can safely soulsplit flash; you'll have to make certain adjustments to your brew:restore ratio.

Dragon claws are definitively better for slayer for most tasks. If you don't have claws, Korasi's sword or DDS depending on the task (KS for single, DDS for multi).

How Long Till 85 and then 90 Dung?
Everyone is. The difference between people who key and people who don't is that the people who do, took initiative. Some people end up preferring to DPS, and that's okay. Just as long as you at least have experience keying.

How Long Till 85 and then 90 Dung?
Continue c1ing 1-29, then do your occults and whatever abandoneds you see. If when all you have left is abandoneds, there aren't any keyers doing them, either key them yourself or just c1 them and reset. I recommend that you key them yourself. The only way to learn is to practice.

Getting ready to do DGS
You should continue using your lamps/tears/pengs on dg till 70. While a lot of our keyers don't do abandoned floors (f30-35), you can still find them in DGS (I personally do them). We'll help you learn, but it depends on your commitment to dungeoneering. If you're just going for a chaotic and frosts, you might have a hard time (we can always tell). Also, having high non-combat stats isn't really a benefit if you're not keying. For example, your high non-combats would hurt me while I'm keying, as I don't have very high non-combats. You'd basically be following me around opening doors for me (I'm used to doing this, so it's not a problem - just sayin'). Look out for a night spiders and bind a hood as soon as you get one.

Stickied threads tend to be ignored (I know I never notice them). I'd prefer it not to be stickied.

NEED PRAYER ADVICE
It'll be cheaper to sell the frost bones and buy normal dragon bones, and probably faster. You can kill around ~200 frosts per hour (depending on equipment and skill), but you can altar a LOT more per hour. Dragon bones would be faster. Using frost bones for prayer is something you do if you're using a money-making method that's better than frosts (of which there are a few).

Slayer helm Fury Proselyte top Verac's skirt Dragon boots Zerker ring Fire > ardy cape (if rapier) > soul wars whip dragon defender If you can afford it, replace proselyte top with BCP.

NEED PRAYER ADVICE
It's very slow compared to just using your maxed stats to go MHing to make the money.
-
OMG Dragonkin Lamps
I think the thing you'll have to consider most is how easy money-making is for you. Looking at your stats, you can pretty much camp TDs no problem (well, your ranged level is a bit low). You'll just need to dg more and get rigour, a maul, and possibly a chaotic xbow (I'm not sure that a karil's xbow will be better considering your ranged level). If you can establish a way to make money, you won't have to worry about not being able to afford prayer. THAT SAID, If you actually enjoy some of the slower, grindy skills, it might not be worth it for you to use your lamps on them. If that's the case, using your lamps on prayer might not be such a bad idea, just as long as you know that doing so will set you back in terms of time till you max total. I know people who love non-combats and find combat to be an issue, and I imagine that they'd use their effigies on combat skills. Just think about what you can do, reasonably, and go from there. Conclusion: If you enjoy combat, use your lamps on runecrafting / agility. If not, or if you find money-making to be an issue, use your lamps on prayer, but this is less efficient.

Surgeboxes are pretty uncommon, so it's likely that you'd be using laws the majority of the time anyway. As a keyer, I think you should go with whatever you're comfortable with, but it's definitely worth noting that one more CSB on warped floors is always helpful (bosses).

If you're pure melee and you snape a lot, then yeah, gatherer. I highly recommend that you get 70 rc and a csb as soon as possible, but until then, zerker/gatherer is good.
