Greaters & Zammy gwd
Not sure if I'm allowed to post this, but I don't think Green will mind: [spoiler=Green Rect's K'ril Guide.] Bandos, rapier, pray magic, soul split flash, etc.

uh what? I don't recognize any of those players. and 36 mins almost 2x as long as an abandonned floor should take. Still its about half the time a decent 117 floor would take. Back in my 117 days a hour dungeon was a good dungeon. Seems like you were in 117 just a few weeks ago. I AM SO PROUD. <3

lol flesh is indeed the "easiest" boss I think :P. Am still waiting for a guide to get that damn skelleton trio archer not damaging me faster than I can eat -.- Skele trio has the most KO potential of any boss in dungeoneering (even more than shadowforger, I think). If you're targeted by both the mage and archer, you're pretty much screwed unless you get lucky (all three can hit at least 700 - I've been hit a little over 700 by the mage).

I think Grimy and I use 'yell' and 'explain' interchangeably when talking about how we teach people. ;) I start yelling the third time I have to ask someone to do something or I tell someone to do something. There are things like learning how to clear a room properly that are a little more forgivable, however (most people don't know how to clear rooms when there's a hex on the team, for example).

Where Can I chop yews?
So what you're saying is that posters in the Help & Advice sub-forum should put emphasis on providing random answers rather than giving good advice. HEY OP, YOU SHOULD CUT YEWS BEHIND VARROCK PALACE, THEN RUN TO SEERS' VILLAGE (BECAUSE RUNNING IS MORE FUN THAN TELEPORTING), COLLECT FLAX, MAKE BOWSTRINGS, CUT YOUR LOGS, STRING YOUR BOWS, THEN ALCH YOUR BOWS. MY REASONING IS THAT THIS IS FUN. No. Suggestions should be logical and alternatives should be provided if the OP's original plan isn't optimal. H&A is for helping and advising people, so I would ask you to stop trolling and let the intelligent posters continue to help and advise.

Hope Devourer Guide by Obatrion from Romnitus (get under me). One does not simply walk into Hope Devourer. The strategy isn't too obvious, so I thought I'd make this quick guide for new 101 dungeoneers. Firstly, magic is by far the best attack style to use on Hope. The team should be using fire surge. All but one player should have fire staves and runes, so take the time to make them before starting (but remember that you should always anticipate getting Hope Devourer as boss when doing f51+, so fire staves and at least some runes should be made when the team has downtime). Hope Devourer has a special attack that severely hurts anyone using a protection prayer when he uses it. When he says "GGGGGGGGOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHURFTHAWUO$IBFAWUER," make sure your protection prayers are off. However, because of the way Hope is fought, protection prayers are unnecessary; the four mages should be using soul split or no prayer at all. The team will be taking constant damage and steady stat reduction throughout the fight, so either soul split or food is necessary. I have no definitive proof, but so far the empirical evidence and testing suggests that Hope always targets the player doing the most damage. This is extremely important. If Hope gets near the player he's targeting, he will hit every player nearby with an AOE melee attack that does massive damage and knocks everyone backwards. So here's the strategy: One person will be designated blocker. The blocker will run into the room and stand between Hope and the four mages (mages should come in just a split second after the blocker). It's possible for Hope to immediately attack the blocker when the team first runs in, so the mages should be quick to attack Hope and aggro him onto one of them. The blocker should be loaded with food as he/she will not be soul splitting. The blocker should be attacking with melee, but only very sparingly - it's possible to momentarily out-DPS one of the mages and get everyone killed as a result (I've done it and it hurts). The four mages should be grouped very close together so that Hope cannot simply walk around the blocker. To illustrate this, I've created an amazing piece of art portraying the team fighting Hope. The mages are represented by Bruce Lee, Steven Seagal, Chuck Norris, and King Leonidas. The blocker is represented by Rambo. Hope Devourer is Mel Gibson in Braveheart (however, it should be noted that 'Mel Gibson' is the nickname for brutes on warped floors; I've been beaten and switched for this oversight): [spoiler=Creative genius.]

Where Can I chop yews?
Lol? That's a poor argument if I've ever heard one. The OP never asked us not to talk about fishing or herblore so should we talk about that? Honestly, just think about it. The op is definitely not "new" to this game. He has 99 in multiple stats and is pretty high up there for many other levels. It's a safe assumption that he knows what he's doing and he's choosing to do it that way. Are you implying that having good stats directly correlates to being good at Runescape? I won't name him, but there's a user on these forums who's maxed and he's the last person you'd ever want giving you advice. There are quite a few users like that. So, no, I'd say that you are not making a safe assumption; far from it, actually. I'll reiterate that the OP should know that there are better options and uses of his time than chopping yews.

Where Can I chop yews?
Would you just let people play how they want? Not everyone's goal is to be the most efficient player. All that aside I would try the yews in the gnome stronghold. The OP should be aware that there are better options. Should he then choose to be inefficient, that's on him. You're attempting to tell Green how to post. Can't you just let him post how he wants? Dat hypocrisy. EDIT: To the post below, >implying that there's a disconnect between fun and efficiency.

That's a negligent mistake considering some of the people on the team. If it was a newb I'd let it slide, but anyone who's been with DGS for more than a few days should know to gate and re-gate doors/areas without being told. EDIT: But I also agree with Grimy - if the team fails to do something important, the keyer should yell at them first and foremost. Messing around isn't so big of a deal when the whole team is pro and it's understood that they're not taking the floor very seriously, but for people who still have things to work on, the work should come first.

While playing Runescape...
I usually play with public chat on friends, but when I'm skilling I'll sometimes turn it on to see if anyone's accusing me of being a rapist botting. When I see that they are, I start ridiculing them for griefing other people, etc, and they always end up apologizing profusely. Good fun.

New Maxed Player Bandos boss Method?
Unless you are a high combat level pro boss hunter with excessive experience in killing bandos, you are in no position to preach "bad bad bad ba dbdbabbad" Cheers mate. Considering that I fit that criteria, I'll reiterate that OP's idea is bad. You'd probably make more money killing level 2 men in Edgeville (what with having six people, being crashed by much better teams multiple times, etc).

Cheating in Runescape and the Bigger Picture
Still waiting for OP to explain why we have to argue within his parameters of morality. And I'd say I'm still waiting for him to actually prove anything, but that's a lost cause. At least he can entertain me with the former.

Cheating in Runescape and the Bigger Picture
I made no such claim. I clearly explained why your whole rape analogy is misleading and just an attempt to change my position into one which is ridiculous. You can't simply claim that botting is akin to cheating on a test and being morally bankrupt because you want to, it has to be relevant to the discussion at hand. It has neither the same moral weight or situational weight, nor have you made a persuasive case as to why it can be a logical extension to my argument. I've switched out my example for yours. It's pretty amusing to me that your argument works for both my rape analogy and your cheating on tests analogy. Could it be because you're still attempting to set moral parameters for your analogies to support your original assertion? Yeah, I think so. You don't seem to understand my point at all. Instead you keep trying to force words into my mouth to make it seem that your point is valid, which it isn't, instead of trying to actually address my argument. What I actually said is that people use the same justifications for both botting and cheating on a test: When I bot, I'm not hurting anyone, so why does it matter? When I cheat on a test, I'm not hurting anyone, so why does it matter? Try to get that into your head. I did not nor have I ever suggested that cheating on a test makes you morally bankrupt. In fact, I understand that there are various levels of "immorality" in ethics, namely, that you can't equate botting with rape: When I rape, I'm not hurting anyone, so why does it matter? That's just a silly argument to make. Wait, did you just say that cheating on a test doesn't hurt anyone so it's okay? No wonder you're having such a hard time proving your point - your point is flawed! Botting doesn't hurt anyone (well, unless you count pride [whiners gonna whine]) while cheating on a test does. So you're comparing something that hurts no-one to something that not only hurts others, but has real world implications, consequences, and effects that could potentially be felt for years and years to come (whether through getting caught and losing your chances at a degree or someone putting you in a position of authority when you lack the ability to perform in that position, etc). You know what else has real world implications, consequences, and effects that could potentially be felt for years to come? Rape. Please stop saying that botters are morally bankrupt and comparing them to cheaters and rapists. It's getting old.

Cheating in Runescape and the Bigger Picture
Two things: 1) Lol. Do you know how to play poker? It involves very real money. Morality is the least of your troubles if you're caught cheating in poker. 2) To what extent does botting in Runescape affect other people? The best moneymaking methods for both noobs and high-levels are either devoid of bots (Nex, collecting mort myre fungi, unfinished pots [make-x is basically botting in itself, so not really applicable, I guess]) or aided by bots (letting armies of green dragon bots kill the dragons while you collect their loot). Then there are mining and agility bots, and I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and hope that you're not about to claim that those affect you.

It's not very good. At one point I wanted one just 'cause it'd be nice to stay on sniper, but it really is a noticeably bad weapon. Also, lol @ the picture. I was 40 dungeoneering. ;)
