  1. Yes, because everybody has to have the same skills as you. I don't get it.
  2. Personally found my PoH was the ideal place to FM. Can force randoms there, also using the butler to unote logs (Even though its obviously p2p only) Still see alot of FM training going on in draynor, but I think the varrock tele method is probably the quickest. I've never heard of POH firemaking. Anyway, backwards FMing at the GE is definitely the best way to do it. Try and make designs and pictures lossless for extra fun. ;)
  3. But aside from that, I've seen you in the clan chat maybe once or twice (at most), and only in the past couple days. It's typically true that people who are more serious about dungeoneering will have a much easier time getting floors in DGS. We have a multitude of people who hang out in the clan chat all the time and do just about every floor that pops up (and I'm talking about non-keyers). You can scrape by if all you want are chaotics and frost dragons, but don't expect keyers to cater to you or regulars to flock to you with that attitude. It always amuses me when one or two people complain about not being able to find floors. You would probably be in a floor right now if you had used that energy to find one instead of posting here.
  4. This is where I want to get to too. At what time of the day (or night) do ranks do DGs with non-ranks? / At what is the chattuh most active? Uh, there isn't a set time of day where ranks dg with non-ranks. The only time ranks don't dg with non-ranks is when the ranks need their high warpeds done, and even then there's a few non-ranks in there.
  5. I don't think he meant that literally. I'm 99% positive he's never watched TV (or anything similar) while dungeoneering with me. What I meant by 'neither of you are wrong' is that neither of you are entirely right. Like I said before, the answer is somewhere in the middle.
  6. I'd rather this discussion not devolve into who's better at dungeoneering. Look, neither of you are wrong, but you're both kinda speaking in extremes.
  7. Okay, I can see where both of you guys are coming from, but the solution lies somewhere in the middle. It's not really realistic to flash turmoil constantly throughout an entire floor for multiple floors. On the other hand, I definitely want people to be flashing piety/turm as much as possible and when necessity permits. It really does make GDs go by that much faster when everyone is flashing piety/turm (and it's how Tui consistently takes berserker while keying sub-25 minute floors <_< ). It's harder, yeah, and I don't expect people to do it constantly, but I do prefer people to do it, at least on monsters with particularly high defense.

Runescape is not dying. However, a large portion of the content in this game is poorly balanced, glitchy, and straight-up [developmentally delayed]ed.
  9. No. You would never, ever use a maul on black demons or spectres. Waterfiends, yes; wyverns, yes if you're maxed combat and using a cannon. It's great for TDs.
  10. - Bloodragers do not work on Thunderous, correct. - Never make your familiars till the boss on Necro floors. Deathslingers help a TON on Necro, especially when soloing. - When using the deathdot-tanking-whatever method for Necro, have the person with the most armor (the tank) stand in front of everyone else (AND MAKE SURE NO ONE EVER TRAMPLES OR STANDS ON TOP OF THE TANK). If everyone feeds the tank, you can do Necro without having to tele out. However, it's very hard to do this if not everyone is on the same page. None of this really applies all that much if you have a hex on the team, 'cause he/she can just solo.
  11. WHY AREN'T WE USING CAPS LOCK ANYMORE?
  12. SELL GODSWORD, BUY HERB SEEDS AND SUPERCOMPOST, START FARMING WHILE COLLECTING MORT MYRE FUNGI. BAM I JUST MADE YOU WAY MORE THAN 300K/H.
  13. An extra ammo bind would be helpful for most people, but overpowered for hex users. I'd be a one-man-army with both a hex and a csb. One idea I liked was binding a familiar. It kinda makes sense in accordance with the lore, too, as the gorajo have pledged themselves to stopping Bilrach and they see our characters as allies. It'd be cool to start a floor with a sachem deathslinger (deathslingers have the highest DPS of any familiar). Ultimately, though, an extra item bind is exactly what dungeoneering needs to really breathe some life into it. One more bind makes it more fun and more varied without breaking it. Anymore binds than that, though, and there'd be a problem. As far as I'm concerned, this thread will be relevant until ROTM5 makes or breaks the extra bind rumor.

Not everyone has a great memory or can even train themselves to memorize floor layouts. While I usually don't have a problem remembering doors, there is the odd floor where the amount of information I have to memorize is overwhelming, so I'll write a few things down.
  15. Primal kites are common. Primal full helms, however, are incredibly rare. I had one bound once, way before I got my hood. :P

` is extremely useful in dungeoneering, though I find that I use it less and less the more I key. Otherwise, there aren't any keying programs other than the ones Grimy is developing.
  17. The gatestone trick just means teleporting away with your personal gatestone when you're in big trouble. It negates all damage you would've taken as soon as you hit the teleport (please note that the GGS teleport does NOT negate all damage). But yes, one application is using it to avoid skill door damage.
  18. Winters, Lycos, Wormwoods, and Magebanes. Drop them at home when you get a chance. Keep a lyco and winters grip in your inventory. Dropping them at home tele wastes time and I don't know why people do it. If you want to make a pot you have to home tele twice to get the herbs back. Just keep them in your inventory. But if your Herblore is too low just drop them at the gt, keep the in your inventory until someone asks for a herb though. No, really, keep them all in your inventory and only drop a few at HT if you're really tight on inventory space. EDIT: Unless, like Green said, you're the primary handyman.
  19. And to add to what Michael said, I've seen a single Hexhunter drop in 41m experience, and I frequently have two to three 99 slayers on my teams. Hexes really aren't something that you decide you want as a bind. IN SOVIET DUNGEONEERING, HEX BINDS YOU.
  20. You don't mean in the clan chat, do you? BRB BINDING PRIMAL BANHAMMER.
  21. I WILL NAME HIM BROTHER PARTNER BROTHER PARTNER THE DINOSAUR
  22. Such a beautiful misinterpretation of everything we've argued. I'm impressed. =D> The hexhunter bow is a niche weapon in that it cannot be used as the sole weapon of any dungeoneer. It takes practice and knowledge to wield correctly. The same is true of just about any bind in dungeoneering. It is not a bad weapon by any stretch of the imagination. Clear enough?
  23. I really wish they had kept PVP worlds. The release of them actually prompted me to PK for the first time ever, way back when. I always liked the idea of them.
  24. It makes a difference, yes. Weight doesn't matter in P2P. People who don't key should have purely offensive binds, as it's far more beneficial to the team.
