  4. dem sagittarian bodies mmmmmhm. Getting better at keying I think (though Mazzzzzzzz keyed that floor).
  5. I like it a lot. Very significant increase in DPS. It's fun to aggro a bunch of monsters, have them pile you, and watch the little 40s pop up everywhere. The healing is nice, too. I'm used to not having armor, so I don't really feel like a plate would benefit me as much as increased DPS, especially because I prefer to be DPS rather than keyer, and I'm DPS on my perm team.

  7. i've seen two since 100. dg with more 99 slayers son ;p
  8. Multicultural clan ftw. Got a blood necklace today. I went through like four different third binds in just a couple hours. EDIT: I start school tomorrow. You know who else starts school tomorrow? Girls who go to my school. Who will be in my classes. STORY TIME shall begin again soon, I hope.
  9. Dear Tripsis, Dungeoneering. Love, Obtaurian
  10. Michael is English, Jax is Kiwi, Gago is Eastern European I think (not sure). ;P
  11. There were six /obt/s! my friends are trollin' me hardcore
  12. Raining Blood by Slayer. It has vocals, yeah, but it's a perfect song to kill stuff to. Stuff in Runescape, of course . . .
  13. This completes another part of my maxed combat goal (maxing all combat stats plus 99 slayer, 100 dungeoneering, 99 herblore, and 99 firemaking). I'm going to continue dungeoneering indefinitely. For those of you who don't know, I help run a Tip.it-based dungeoneering "clan" called Dungeonsweepers. Our clan chat, DungeonSweep, is now active around the clock. You'll be able to find floors with other Tipiters and with only minimal interaction with worlds like 148 and 117 (just joking about 117 -- no Tipiter in their right mind would use that, right?). We have keyers in nearly every timezone who average 25-35 minute floors (a few can do 20-30 minute floors consistently). All Tipiters are welcomed to use the clan chat. Just pop in and advertise your floors -- keyers will be ranked silver stars, but we do have "unofficial" keyers, too, so you shouldn't have a problem finding people to dungeoneer with during busy hours. All we ask is that when you dungeoneer with official keyers, you follow their instructions without arguing and without hesitation. We're there to help you learn to dungeoneer more efficiently, and 25-35 minute floors are only possible with full cooperation from the entire team. Please visit the link in my signature before using the clan chat. Now that I'm 100 dungeoneering I plan on practicing my keying, and I'll be doing floors as low as 25 (best floor I keyed today was a 32 minute occult). However, and just a heads up, I require that my teammates use skype to listen in when I key, so make sure you get with the program (pun kinda intended). ;) I plan on binding either a celestial staff or a sagittarian body (current binds are hood + prom 2h + prom plate + CSB). I'll probably go back and forth between the two depending on my mood. Though I'm learning to key, I prefer a DPS role, so the staff is more appealing to me at this point. But, of course, all I really want is a hexhunter. Alas... My third bind:
  14. YAY. Definitely not stopping there. Green made me a prom plate + 2h after I got it, but we got trolled hardcore by prom ores. Sucks bro. Then I did a f34 and got cursebearer. OMG I WANT TO BIND CELESTIAL STAFF I said to myself, but cursebearer said "lol nah here's an empowered cat staff". wow. [bleep] off cursebearer. then I did f50 and we got dreadnaught. OMFG DREAD CAN I HAVE A PRIMAL PLATE?! dread said "lol no here's a prom plate go play". .... Bosses trolling me hardcore today. 101 in the next few days hopefully. Gonna be spending all tokens on exp indefinitely. Oh, and I guess I'll add a separate goal tracker bar thingy just for dungeoneering on the first page of my blog
  15. You're right -- agility isn't very useful for combat (unless you're running away from a clan in the wilderness). Or anything else, for that matter. See my point? If it was useful for combat in some way, it'd see a lot more use. Firemaking is actually very useful for combat due to the handcannon being the best ranged weapon to use in most situations you'd use a ranged weapon. Farming is almost entirely combat-related and for the reason you mentioned -- it provides herbs... for combat potions. Two popular methods of training thieving directly benefit combat -- master farmers give us herb seeds to farm, and pharaoh's sceptres allow for easy ancient magicks access. Otherwise it's a pointless, boring skill... because it doesn't aid combat as much as it could. All non-combat skills are like this (sans herblore, dungeoneering, and slayer).
  16. Soma, What skill does not come back to combat in some way, not including minigames based on certain skills (eg: GOP)? Off the top of my head, the only things I can think of are kingly imps and a large chunk of the construction skill (and unsurprisingly, skillers tend to love construction). Whether or not it's right or wrong is moot -- everything in Runescape revolves around combat; you either kill stuff or you support the people who kill stuff. I see nothing wrong with making non-combat kills genuinely useful by giving them untradeable rewards. As it stands, most non-combats are entirely pointless other than giving you more options for making cutesy outfits at level 99.
  17. I've always felt like money was worthless, and FT didn't change that much. When I need money, I make it doing things that I like (which happens to be MHing). Even if I could make way more per hour standing in world 2, I would not have fun doing that. I hate afk/bank skills as it is, and it would feel like the same thing to me. I'd rather MH my way to a divine or Nex gear. As it happens, though, I'm not concerned with anything other than dungeoneering, and won't be for a long time to come. In conclusion, I don't think FT changed anything for me in terms of how I make money and I how feel about said making of money.
  18. Prayer, summoning, magic, and farming. Prayer for piety, summoning for tort/bunyip/fruit bat (like the other Obtaurian said, it's 500k+ an hour), magic for various useful spells and magic defense, and farming because farming is a constant supply of easy money (not sure if it's technically worth it at low levels, but whatever). Farming will help you make the money for the other three. Basically just echoed what most other people said. Oh well.
  19. TDs... buying a fury.... My god, are you becoming PRO? I am very proud.
  20. lmao i'm genuinely scared that i could be banned if one of my impostors does something naughty and the mods don't recognize that it's not me.
