That's actually not that bad of a strat for the achievement if you ask me. Of course, I personally would do this: When you hear the tank music, kill your teammates. Vote to change the difficulty to easy. Kill the tank. Finish the chapter. Then you can restart and redo it on expert if you're going for the expert achievements. Though your teammates will get mad, and probably think 'Hey, we can kick this noob, with the vote feature'. :) Oh man, did I try that, but to no avail. The tank never spawned when I tried it on the recommended Death Toll, so I tried Blood Harvest where there's almost always a tank in the house, but of course then it never spawned and when it did I either died from close quarters or got too close to my teammates incapped outside and they shot it. But I have seen it done.
  2. Read the book Into the Wild or look up Chris McCandless...it doesn't end well when you live off the land.... Yea, if you're a [bleep]ing dumb [wagon]. But I sort of agree with Iamdan. I know this is about the 50th time I've posted it, but I'd like to live in the woods. Alone except for a dog of hardy breed and sturdy build, trapping my food and looking out for myself. Or maybe Siberia. Same situation. If I conquer forest, maybe.
  3. It also beats poison.

Here;s how I got it: No Mercy finale, easy, all bots. The bots will run for the chopper without you while you hang back and wait for the tank. Shoot it until it's in molotov range, light 'im up, run and shoot.

The nightmares will begin within days. I won a dollar at air rifle yesterday. Before we started shooting, Captain pinned two $1 bills near the targets. One was for highest overall score(3 positions), one for highest standing position score. I got the highest standing score with 61/100. So yay.
  6. There we go. Better. 1. But shirt. Doesn't really matter, just a shirt. I prefer solid colors. 2. Buy jeans. Cheap jeans. If people really like that faded look, really cheap jeans will quickly fade and/or rip. 3. Buy hat. Baseball cap style if posdible. If not, bowler derby.

Me and friends have a similar saying: "whhhooooaaaah there, buddy! You're gonna give yourself an aneurism!". There's a hand motion to go along with it, and you have to say "whoah" in kind of a funny voice liem you're slowing a horse or something. Except it belongs to everyone, not the people. You fail. And then there's what's essentially my life's motto: Curse myself and laugh at others.

Build a man a fire, he'll be warm for a day. Set a man on fire, he'll be warm the rest of his life.
  9. THIS. IS....actually, not Sparta, where the hell am I? But just a heads up; in many parts of the country, it matters not who threw the first punch. You fight back, you're as guilty as he. Just a heads up.
  10. Why does no woman need an umbrella? It doesn't rain in the kitchen.
  11. Wow, who knew the omission of a single word could let you avoid looking like a rich bastard. Keep your wallet in your shirt pocket. Rich people have those, right? And maybe leave the gold watch at the hotel beneath your dirty clothes, just in case.
  12. You "think" you do? You must not be the brightest. Use that to your advantage.
  13. Bidoof. 'Nuff said. Ok, not quite enough. So having 5 that wander, as opposed to just 3 makes it better? Quantity=/= quality. The three birds know Roost it heals 50% of their health and they are level 60. And your point there is? Probably that the quality has increased as well. That move is a rip off of Recover lol  That also removes the immunity to earth based moves on the turn its used. Ground moves? That means kinda pointless though since Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres are birds, so they are already immune. Or do you mean rock? Then it would be very effective since that's their weakness. Kinda sounds overpowered in that case, but meh all psychics are in RBY. Yea, they're immune. Roost removes that immunity, so ground can harm them. And yup, Roost is a ripoff of recovery, further proving quantity=/=quality.
  14. Obviously they wouldn't just have their rifle, but another weapon or at the very least a sidearm. But people on eatch duty are needed, and who better than some snipers in a tree? And in your emergency, they would use the aforementioned "secondary" weapon. And how many people really need to cook at once?

  17. I was, of course, speaking in terms of RBY. That might have been compensation for RBY there, actually cutting fire a break. I actually forget what they are in RSE, despite playing that at least 3 times, and I don't even remember what the gyms were at all in DPP. And I thought Fire Red was pretty good. I essentially commandeered my sister's copy when she bought it and built a good team. All I really remember, though, is the Snorlax. I had either his Hp or Defence maxed out. Probably had a Charizard, too, best pokemon ever besides Shellder.
  18. Indeed. A step in the right direction towards eliminating the mutant. Also most of Europe's royal families up to at least WWI. Not siblings, but cousins. But still family. For all saying animals can't consent, you've obviously not read the dolphin sex guide. I've a feeling I can't link to it, but it's fairly clear on consent. And I will laugh hard if killerbeer responds to all those saying bestiality is horrible and disgusting. Not to say I condone it, apart from a dolphin I have no idea where to....go, and what I can think of is not my idea of a fun time, but the actual act itself I don't feel should be illegal. Except there's no way to record rape.
  19. Fat Jesus, man, it's not the end of tip.it or whatever you think. A few trolls means nothing, it's happened before at least once that I remember where a guy posted his wang a bunch.
  20. Yo dawg I heard you like threads so I put a thread in yo thread so you can post while you post. I'm truly, terribly sorry for that.
  21. True, and I think I did that in my Ruby. But for RBY it was like that. I forget for GSC.
  22. I will be this man. Also, I'll need it for after I [bleep] in my pants after seeing the explosion. You know how it goes. Cyanide is the more cliched method. We should use that. Or our service pistols.
  23. I thought the starter was a matter of... "[bleep] it, which one is the fire type?" I've always wondered why people were in love with fire types because in reality. They all suck [wagon]... And fire was really the worst choice to make, because for the first 2 gym leaders fire was weak. Grass was always the best early choice against the first 2, rock and water. Fire didn't really pay off until the 6th, I think, that grass one. Water was good for the first, rock, ok for water, but #3 was electric, so you had to have good pokemon by then. Also I know hope isn't lost for my team, not just because Kabutops is rock/water but also because my other stuff is still strong period. :D
  24. Thread derailed. Troll successful. Combatants shamed. Wait, is that 14 added? How the hell do you get them all? I can only think of maybe 5 you find in the course of the game (those 3 that run around and the cover guys). I enjoyed RBY, Yellow was my only game (I don't count Red, since I owned it and still do, but the save feature never, ever worked. Ever) but I got all 151 pokemon. Yes, I even got a Mew from my friend. No idea how he got it, probably cheated. But then 5 or 6 years ago I moved, and somehow my game was erased. That sucked, but I started it again-twice, I think. I'm at Cinnabar now, about to face Blaine, but I haven't played in a while. I have, i think, a Kabutops, a Scyther, Pikachu, Butterfree, Charizard, and Haunter. Which is going to suck for the Gym there, but whatever. I also still have my original level 70-something Pikachu and my 100 Mew preserved in Pokemon Stadium. So that's cool. But yea, those were great. I don't remember much about GSC, really, but RSE were alright, at least you could run there. Dark and Steel were good additions, since dark completed that Ghost-Dark-Psychic triangle of weaknesses, and steel made for some neat matchups and strengthened oldies like Magnemite.
  25. Wow, even back then you didn't know it was spelled Charizard. You ditzy girl, you :P Also, that will never get old. Ever.
