Ya, well shark prices we're down before the GE right? I remember I got into fishing because my friend who had a full set of sara (My fav armor at that time) had 76 fishing and fished and sold sharks. I thought it was excellent cash (and it's not too bad now i guess, im f2p atm soo i don't really know), but as soon as i got 76 fishing, shark prices plummeted. It was horrible.

Just from glimpsing at the first few post this whole conflict shows the complete lack of understanding we have of other races, cultures, religions, etc. I am not claiming that I know more about the Muslim world then anyone, because I truly do not. This is just another example that education is key to understanding.

My dad started smoking when he was 11 and has just stopped 2 years ago. He has so far had no problems related to smoking except high cholesterol (this was a spelling suggestion, so if it's wrong you must realize I am a horrible speller). He stopped completely cold turkey, although he did eat a lot of Altoids for the first few weeks though(lol). During my middle school years i took part in what we called Peer Education Program (P.E.P), where grownups teach kids and then kids teach other kids. We focused on smoking mainly and all it's negative effects. I for one will never smoke, that is what i have personal decided. This country (US) seems to be like a racehorse sometimes, only staring at one problem at a time while ignoring all others. During my P.E.P times a guest speaker once told this story: "I was sitting a restaurant and there was this couple, one a smoker and one an extremely over-weight women. A man came up to the couple and started screaming at the smoker "Don't you know your killing yourself and poisoning the rest of us?" The smoker replied "Yes I have tried many time to quiet and I know the effects of smoking" Now, I was sitting there staring and wondering "Yes, that man is a smoker, he knows the problems of smoking, what will yelling do for him. If he thought that that would help why not yell at the women, she is also killing herself." Now do not get me wrong, I am against smoking. It is a nasty habit. My question is not to the smoker, but to everyone who thinks that just because they yell at someone and saying commits such as "What did your lungs do to you?" your helping. My question is "What do you think this actually does?" The way to do it is to educate the youth. Everyone dies, and smokers usually die faster. The smoking companies need new consumers when the old one dies. If you educate the youth you will certainly stop more people from smoking then just by yelling at them or sly commits. Nothing is more scarier then the truth. (Sorry this isn't exactly what you wanted in your topic, but thats how i fell)

First i want to say how your title is 10000000 times better then "Jadex is killing us, Jadex destroyed RS, etc." Secondly, you at least explain in a reasonable manner how Jadex is "destroying" RS. Finally, Jadex is trying to help us (unless you use autoers to make cash, and if you used to Duel too.) These updates don't exactly effect me as it has effected other people, so i don't have as strong of an opinion as others. I'm just glad to see a decent argument.

Ok, so i can see your points about DA. Jadex did take a way to make mils for high level players, but the trade-off is that Jadex also eliminated at least one way that people transfer money, and you still can win mils through the duel (tournaments) it might not be anywhere near as much, but its better then nothing. Your point about jadex making the game easier for new level players and how it hurts higher level players might have been valid if you explained why. I don't understand how this hurts higher player levels?(I might have understood if you have explained) Who wouldn't like to have had more help when they were lower level? On top of that Jadex has giving higher level players plenty to do. Mith drags, God Wars, plus that new update coming out, the Rouges Assassin type thing (which they basically took that idea from the game The Ship, but it's all good) Thats the stuff that high levels can do with any real success. You can always try for 99 something, kill some creature, and duel (oh wait, i guess you can't do that anymore.. : )

Wow, seems pretty intense. (that might be an understatement : ) I must say that i always thought i was pretty up-to-date on all the happenings of RS (clearly it is not so), but since my membership has expired i'm barley up-to-date with what's happening with my friends. If theres is an "RS Underground" thats full of autoers and RWTs, and i am sure there is, in fact im sure someone will correct me, then it's..it's...a disgrace. I have had friends who wanted to buy mils from some online people. Would have cost them 5 dollars. I explained to them that if they did that they were sponsoring autoers and how autoers steal my fishies, among other things. Then i told them that i couldn't be friends with someone who did that. (corny i know, but its what i said :mrgreen: ) That is the extent of my knowledge and thats how this problem effects me. I trust jadex enough to know what to do and the best way to do it. It may not please everybody and it sure does piss somepeople off, but we don't live in a perfect society (in RS or RL) so that's the way it goes.

Honor is not being equal, at least i don't think so. Equality is being equal. If everyone really wanted to make pking equal, or honorable in this case, then why not make a giant rule saying everyone must wear bronze armor with bronze longswords...etc. Because if you did that then it would be a waist of time to train that defence, or attack. Pking, to me, is trying to gain an advantage over your opponent This does not mean while your a lvl 101 and a lvl 50 comes walking by, you kill them, it just means in a fight you try to do what you can to win.

Lol :lol: i admit that it was quiet a surprise, at least for me, but thats the only real effect on me, a surprise. I never liked staking, or pking for that matter, because ever time i staked i lost 30k here, 20k there. The only stake i every one anything in was against a lvl 68...and i'm an 88. :oops: Good O'l Noobs :thumbsup: PS. When will i ever use this emote? :mrgreen: always wondered that.

Nothing wrong with 40 defense for a f2p pker main isnt too bad either, perhaps a better staker though. Fresh starts are annoying..gotta gain all those lvls again. My idea: Use main for cash, keep the 2ed choice a f2p pker, see how you do with that and get used to pking again then if you really want to go and work on the fresh start. Kinda not really helping you any cause i didn't really decide i guess :| but from what i know pking is 10% stats and 90% practice. : But i don't pk all too much so what do i know?

Depends on the type of staker you wanna be? I like tanks (high def high mage high range) because you get high levels so you'll probably get staked by a lot of high levels with lots of cash :) Stats for a tank: 1 att 1 str 70 + Def 80+ mage (with ancients preferred) 80+ range ( i guess you don't really need it if you have high enough mage) Thats a good tank from what i know. Other people might give you better advice First post :XD:

Get higher range? Nice str though and mage. Umm, ya 8/10 but what do i know? :uhh:

A. Zombie mask is just a random event and its just looks ya. B. Im not the best pker but if your pking get range up. Keep def for right now Keep getting str too, keep attack Keep prayer, Mage isnt necessary to get up yet But i'm not even close to the best pker, but considering you haven't played in a while thats a pretty decent account First Post :XD:

Holy cow..can you tell me how to duel? lol i always lose. Here are my stats attack 61 (working to 70 kinda) Str 80 Def 70 Range 70 Mage 68 (working on 70 too) Hp 75 and prayer is almost 52 any tips? O and i'll give you like a 15/10 cause earning like 30mil in duels in 1 weekend is awesome

I'm not sure if your asking to beat MM or what XP you get from it. To beat it (as in killing the demon) this is what works the best for me 50 range 37 mage a few lobs (not necessary) like maybe 50 addy arrows ( i did in about 20 without any pick ups) So that works because the demon mages you first, he doesnt melee you melee him first. As for the xp your getting def xp if you want to get the str xp Just dont talk to the dude that gives u the xp if you dont want - but you cant get to ape atoll unless you can tele there (requires some of RFD)
