  1. Finally! I was reading in horror that no one had suggested this yet. I think it's the best place because it's relatively quiet, although, yes, you do have to do a quest to get here. It's where I got 99 :D
  2. Does the time when you're logged off count towards the expiration of a TB spell? I could've sworn I got TB'ed once and logged for an hour cuz I was frustrated (very very close to death) and came back and I was still blocked...not sure tho.

Desert robes are advantageous whether you have the tiara or not :) I recommend using it all the time; it's the only clothing that can give an advantage and why wear something else then? :)
  4. And so you know, salve amulet + black mask, they don't stack. :-\ So unless you have the (e) I would choose black mask over salve and use a glory instead.
  5. Nothing particularly special needed for slayer except the black mask. Two basic categories of monsters, melee (therefore need regular melee armor) and magic (need dragonhide armor) That's pretty much it I think. Oh and if you haven't done enough Recipe for Disaster to get addy or better gloves, get the combat bracelet. Decent str bonus and updates your kills.

With 77 mining, so you (xpoc) may need 5 or so.
  7. Yes, it justs boosts your level enough to get into the guild.

Yes it is better to use the enchanted water tiara from Dealing With Scabaras. If you don't have that, perhaps you can use Humidify (Lunar spell, unlocked after Dream Mentor) although if you're keeping the 500g pieces you should be fine with 1-2 full waterskins and just refilling between trips. The most efficient way is have lots of ugthanki dung in your bank (to recharge Camulet) and then telly to Castle wars with dueling ring, bank, recharge camulet if needed, then teleport back. Everything else you're correct on, drop all but 500g (.5kg), fill up, bank, etc.
  9. Great, thank you very much!
  10. Awesome info, thanks! Edit: And I'd be ok ranging aviansies?
  11. Ok I'm going to lay out a few questions: 1. What is the fastest way to get ranged xp besides chins, and how expensive would it be? 2. What is a good technique for getting moderately good ranging xp, while minimizing loss/breaking even/making a profit. 3. Don't mind hearing cannon methods, never been fond of them but if there is a good way for using them I'm open to suggestions. I hear ice trolls make profit, but I'm just asking for other ideas as well. I have around 3m but I want to minimize spending. Only reason I'm saying how much I have is that I COULD buy materials, etc. and would be willing to invest in a method as long as I could make my money back. Sorry I know this gets asked a lot but I searched and all I could find were "how long from x lvl to x lvl" or what is good at 40-60 ranged or something (not that there is anything wrong with lower methods, if they're still viable I'm willing to do them) Sorry it's so long! For those of you too lazy to look in my siggy my ranged is 72.
  12. And of course prayer pots
  13. Yeah I just don't really want to alch 54k :-\
  14. Or if you don't want to deal with all the teleporting, most open altars will be in yanille. Walk/run to portal, preferably wearing weight reducing gear (boots of lightness, penance gloves, spotted/spottier cape) and go into friends portal, use bones on altar (most open altars, the owner deals with the marrentill lighting) and make sure it says something about the gods being very pleased with your offering or something. If it just says "pleased" then the burners have gone out and you wont be getting 350% xp until they're relit. Edit: and no, it isn't at all necessary for you to do it, open altars are very easy to find.
  15. Oh, excellent! Thanks! I'll still test it a bit before I invest a whole lot into them though :)
  16. Hmmm...ok thanks I'll test it out, play with it a bit. Also, going to update the original question...^^
  17. Hate to be a broken record, but...SLAYER! It's an amazing skill, really helps break up the monotony of regular power training, you can get good drops, and if you don't you will regret it later. Good luck man!
  18. Topic says it all, do mage longbows sell well in the ge, en masse? Thinking about 99 fletching but I don't want to alch my own bows...3 alching. Edit: If not in GE, forums maybe?
  19. But of course you don't have to actually do it, I immediately destroyed my task sheet...:P
  20. Great stuff man! If I can think of anything I'll be sure to post it up.
  21. I know the question has been answered, but there was a far easier way to answer...go to runescape's site, log in to Questhelp. It has a bar right there saying Your Runescape Quest Progress X of 142 Quests complete. :)
  22. Its south of the road between Lumby and Draynor. Cut through the woods west, behind Lumby general store. There is a broken down house with a trapdoor you pick lock to get in.
  23. Pretty sure the fastest is buy the hide (or leather) of the highest dragonhide armor you can make, then just make them en masse. Green d'hide body is what you'd want.
