Ah, ok. . . It sounded like you were wondering why Lost didn't come back in September like many other people out there. Interesting, this writer's strike. Might make me rethink doing anything with a TV network :-k .
  2. Uhh, I forgot :uhh: . Well, I could write now, but it's like 10 o'clock and I just finished that Government thing. . . bleh.
  3. Oi. Nickely. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=707866 The first place one of those was posted. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=712110 Posted again, along with the others. However, fgfuyfyuiuy0, in the second one you claimed to have drawn all of them, while in the first you said they were done by others in a contest. Care to explain? (I believe you for the moment.)

Eventually if the strike isn't resolved. Someone said two more episodes is all we have, but I think it's a little more than that. Others said to episode 11, which is four episodes more. I was going to make a topic about the writers strike, but then decided not to. Looks like it could push back Lost and Battlestar Galactica even further, they are taking forever already. WTF? Writer's strike? Never heard there was such a thing going on. . . shows how much TV I watch other than LOST and Heroes. And how important Zoomtown considers it. . . But I can assure you that LOST is on schedule. It has been planned now that it will return for three more seasons of sixteen episodes each, running from February to May uninterrupted after the style of 24. So any writer's strike has nothing to do with LOST not returning yet.

Ash randomly naked, cue Vashiel nosebleed. It could happen. Yeah, I know there's no way in hell given the context and everything. But whatever.
  6. I know what you mean. Cheese accompanied by something is good, but on its own...blech :-X I join the cheese-is-disgusting-on-its-own club. But I love cheese when it is on stuff like pizza. I've just never understood how people like my brother can eat a slice of American cheese alone, or handfulls of cheddar/mozzarella. . .
  7. Glitching a Mew on Red Version. It's not technically legitimate, but it's still pretty damn cool 8-) . Then trading it to my Silver version to bring my count to 246/251. I'll get you, Retefael.
  8. It's very nice, I like the gradient actually, but the anatomy is a bit odd. . . She looks stretched.
  9. Well, at least one person has no problem with it. . . And I wish I could update tonight but I don't think so, I'll be pretty busy.
  10. Yes really, there is a sticky for it.

I think the past happened just as it was supposed to. Adam/Kensai was always part of the company. The Japanese girl in the past will tell the stories like Hiro told her they were supposed to happen, and all will be fine then. That's a possibilty, but it's hard to know really. Especially considering the episode last season where Hiro went five years into the future. There was no pandemic, but nor was there a New York. That's the problem with time travel, the writers had better know what they're doing. Another thing I just thought of, Isaac's paintings. One of them showed Hiro fighting Kensei, complete with flames and everything. But that happened in feudal Japan, not the future. Of course, time relative to Hiro would make it in his future, but not anyone else's. Interesting :-k .
  12. :XD: I haven't heard that song in such a long time. That just reminded me of this as well. . .

Damn, that was a good episode. Hiro seriously screwed up the past. And Matt's power is going to be amazing when he gets as good as his dad.
  14. You say company like it's a single entity with a collective hive mind. What you're dealing with are the CEO's and select other officials, who will care only if it boosts their reputation. Individual workers probably care, but they have no say if they want to keep their job.
  15. I read. A lot. I probably own more books than a lot of people have read in their lifetime. I can attest to the fact that vocabulary, writing skills, and other areas vastly improve from reading. That can't really be argued. Sure, some people don't like to read. But they will find English class a lot harder for it. And what you said about not knowing what the words mean is completely untrue for someone who really takes something away from reading. You learn how to use context to figure out the meaning of the words, and the more you read the better you become at writing paragraphs after professionals because you've seen them so often. You can't do crap without understanding it, so if you've become good at writing and have expanded your vocabulary from reading you understand the meaning behind it all. Besides the vocab and surface stuff, there is almost always a message behind any sort of writing, and reading a lot will expose you to a lot of them. You watch the Discovery Channel? I read for the same effect, with the added benefit of improving my skills in other areas. You enjoyed Lord of the Rings? So did I; the books, that is. Going deeper than the obviously educational reads are the more subtle messages, such as those in Romanticism. I don't think any less of anyone who deosn't like to read, because it's pretty obvious that they are not interested in that area of work or education. I have no problem with someone who prefers to excel in another area unrelated to rhetoric and literature. But you can't deny the benefits that being a bookworm gives you.
  16. PS3 just had another price drop. It's $399 now and you get five free blu-ray movies. I would say it's failing pretty hard.
  17. I agree. I do not do drugs, nor do I feel any desire to, but that doesn't mean I'm going to condemn everyone who does just because biased programs like DARE have tried to tell me that everything about drugs is bad. That is an incredibly shallow and one-sided view. If you're going to say that you think all drugs are bad, fine, but don't go around spewing the crap that drug educational programs put out there if you want to sound credible. They are little more than guidelines for younger children who are not mature enough to use drugs responsibly and should rightly be prevented from using them. I see no problem with older and more mature people using drugs sparingly and knowing the risks. And yes, there is a definite line between hard and soft drugs. And soft drugs are what this topic is about, and that the mature users are the ones who know that these drugs are far less harmful than others and therefore choose them over crack and heroin.
  18. EDIT: ^Lol. Hahaha. I sincerely hope your joking, my friend. Don't critique people on their grammar if yours isn't good either either. I find it funny when people are ignorant and tell people to correct their grammar, and then spell grammar wrong. Sweet irony.

Ed FTW. But his curtains are way too big, you could size them down a bit.
  22. Nothing beats finding out a Tip.It'er sits next to you in Java class :P . But, having had that experience, I feel for you. Keep trying :) .
  23. The pinky finger, I believe. : Lol, he definitely meant thumb. Anyway, looks loads better now, good job.
  24. Comments are my sustenance. I'm starving. Hint, hint. . . Anyway, new chapter tonight most likely. And it will be big.

you cant judge a web comic by some online review try reading a chapter yourself and see how you like it yourself I've read it. I still can't believe I didn't gouge the other eye out. Indeed. For the record, I did read it and came to that conclusion myself. Comics in general epitomize my interests and talents - art and literature. The art burned my eyes out, thankfully before the writing caused too much damage to my brain.
