For anyone who watches LOST, I think the episode "Dave" sums this up. Basically, one of the characters, Hurley, experiences a recurrence of one of his old psycological problems -- his imaginary friend, Dave. Dave tries to convince him that nothing that is happening to him is real, because Dave is there on the island now, right? Well, to make a long story short, another survivor from the other section of the plane asks Hurley, "There was a man who had a broken leg from the crash. I bandaged him up and tried to help him, but he died, as did many others. What was his name?" And of course Hurley couldn't answer. Basically what I'm saying is, if this is all our imagination, we should be omniscient, correct? We should know everything that goes on. So, how do we explain others? If anyone were to reply to this, they would do so because they had their own thoughts on the question, which would make them an individual. And I would be insulting all of you to say that you do not exist, that you're just a figment of my imagination.

That was certainly a much more insightful post than the original. TBH, your dad sounds like mine (always trying to sound wise, and not knowing or caring that on the subject about which he is talking I in fact know a vast amount more than he does), but I've never had either of my parents tell me I'm bad at something. They have tact, at least. I don't know what to tell you dude, other than use reason and logic for your arguments and keep a level head. If they continue to be like that, at least you'll know that you've done your best. Which it seems like you have done already, for the most part.

I didn't know it only had 15 hours of play time, and I'm still not sure of it. Although I am at ~25% complete with about 5 hours on it, so that would come out to 20 hours. But then again, I would have to get every single scan and missle expansion and energy tank for 100%, so I dunno.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Truly amazing how people fail at such a simple task. That, and people STILL don't seem to get that this is what you would rather have, not what you would rather someone else have. . . I say it again, I would rather have brains, for the reasons that I already posted.

No topic on this that I'm aware of, don't kill me. Released last Tuesday, August 28 (In North America at least). This is an amazing game. The graphics are the best seen on the Wii so far, the FPS controls for the Wiimote have been perfected, it has a great story, etc. Nintendo Power rated it a 10/10 (only the 2nd game to receive that rating from them, the first being RE4, so don't say they're biased), and all other reviews I've looked at have given it a 9 or higher except Gamespot (8.5, but who listens to Gamespot? :P ) IMO, best game out for the Wii so far, Twilight Princess being a close second. My verdict: Halo just got owned. The only problem I have with it is that there is no multiplayer, but Metroid has always been a single-player experience. What are your thoughts on the game?

Hmm, with the Tom Nook debate I don't think it would be unreasonable to think he might be in it, but then again, when did any Animal Crossing characters learn to fight?

Meh, I watched DB and DBZ when I was younger, and caught a bit of Gundam sometimes (that was so awesome back in the day, giant robot things FTW) and Sailor Moon (Ack :oops: ). DBZ was the greatest to me, but it's pretty dang hard to understand sometimes, especially when you're like 8-10 like I was lol. Never seen GT, and I don't really watch anime at all any more.

You're both at fault here, you know. You can't lay the blame all on your parents (though they are being rather irrational), you're not helping much. Try to work things out. And if you give an honest effort to compromise and recognize your own faults, but they don't give the same in return, then you are guity of nothing, and I'll sympathize completely.
