Heard the song :P Yeah, one more overprotective parent making a mountain out of a nonexistant molehill. You'd think they do it for attention :-k

Ghosts, Spirits, and Demons...
Quite frankly, I didn't take it as semantics. When you used "d", it just sounded uneducated. Hence my middle schooler comment. You're dealing with more than words, you're dealing with entire abstract concepts, so really, I don't think that semantics would even apply. And I'm not trying to start an argument. Just pointing out what would appear to be a misconception, and that that is how I took it. Wow, very full of yourself aren't you? For your information, I'm turning 18. Not that you deserved to know, but I'm giving you that pearl right now. You were comparing apples and oranges. Whatever dimension means for you, it doesn't mean the same thing in spirituality. Heh, I will not further your arguments, go talk to wall instead. Digital ego big eh? Yes that's what I thought. Lol, internet  And to assasin, haft haft :P Don't kill the messenger. Look, I respect what you were saying, I was merely pointing out that the way you worded it made it sound less believable. I couldn't tell what you meant by dimension, honestly. But I was trying to give you the benefit of the doubt as far as knowing what you were talking about, I didn't say you were stupid and deluded. You could have easliy said that you were simply using the term to represent your theory, but you didn't so I didn't know. And I respect your opinion. I'm trying to be civil about this, you didn't need to flame me for questioning what you said. I'm not belittling you in any way, so please don't take offense. I just tend to start debates, bad habit of mine. Now that that's out of the way, it's an intersting and unique view on things, to be sure.

Ghosts, Spirits, and Demons...
What kind of loony theory is that? Not to put you down or anything, but you do realize that "d" stands for dimensional, and dimensional refers measuring objects, right? 1D is a straight line. 2D is what we find on paper, an object that has length and width. 3D is our physical world, yes, because in addition to length and width we have depth. 4D is speculated to be time, and anything higher doesn't exist. If you know this, sorry, but using "d" just makes it sound like you don't and have been listening to wild made-up theories that elementary school kids like to make up for fun.

Which video game character are you?
Wow. That was the crappiest quiz ever. I got 100% 50 cent. 50 Cent!?!?! I hate him, and I didn't even know he had a game. And Froto for God's sake. . .

Ghosts, Spirits, and Demons...
I sat through that video ready to discredit everything I saw, and for the most part I was successful. The only halfway convincing cases on there were the poltergeists, and even those could have been faked without too much effort.

Soft Drugs: What gives?
So your saying drugs wrote those hits? Not the years of experience with music? Yeah, okay, sure. In my opinion, legalizing marijuana would be legalizing stupidity. The 'dope smokers' of my year at school, whether they were intelligent or not, are far worse off intellectually now then they were before. Don't even try and tell me you can't tell the difference between a pot head and someone who doesn't use marijuana on a regular basis. By regular, i mean as frequently as someone would use alcohol. Speaking of alcohol, I think the your argument that marijuana is less addictive is pointless. I, even though i am effected by alcohol at this moment, think that alcohol shouldn't have been legalized either. It provides more harm then good, and is abused by many teens because it is socially accepted by everyone, including their parents. Imagine how many pot heads would be around if it was legalized? There would be as many as there are underage drinkers. School grades would be down. University/collage attendance would be down. Society - stupid. We already have alcohol as a legalized problem, why make another? P.s. Hopefully I'll read over this tomorrow and edit. Don't take stances like this unless you actually know what you're talking about. I spent a whole semester researching into the benefits of legalizing marjuana in order to present it in a debate against the opposition. Needless to say we owned them. Here are our main points: 1. The health effects. This is the most talked about point on this thread so far, and for good reason. Marijuana is not addictive, and it is less far less harmful than other drugs (being a "soft drug"). There has never been a death resulting from marijuana use. 2. Crime. Think prohibition. You say alcohol is bad and it should be illegal like marijuana. Pay attention in history class, will you? Prohibition was a bad era for the U.S. The crime rate went drastcially up because of bootleggers and speakeasies, and alcohol also became more dangerous. This is the exact same case as with marijuana. Illegal as it is now, there are enormous crime rings dedicated to selling pot underground. These dealers have absolute control over the price of marijuana, and as a result they drive it high in order to make maximum profit. Therefore someone who wants to buy it is being gouged, and run out of money fast. They can resort to stealing for the money, therefore resulting in more crime. 3. Government resources. Our jails are extremely overcrowded. Many of the people sitting in jail are there for drug use or dealing. Were marijuana legalized, they wouldn't be. Plain and simple. There would be no reason for these underground drug rings to exist, and nobody would be stealing to get money for the drugs. And best of all, the government can be using the freed resources to focus on crime that is actually worth dealing with. 4. Taxation. With marijuana legalized, the government can tax it. The government can save 10 to 14 billion dollars by taxing the marijuana legally and not spending resources busting people for using it illegally. Not much more to be said here. 5. Safety. With the government in control of the marijuana supply, they can control its content. Do you realize that illegally trafficked marijuana can contain substances more potent than the drug itself? Additionally, THC, the psycoactive drug in marijuana that causes the highs and most of the damage, can be regulated. The level of THC in marijuana can be enormously high without the dealers knowing or caring. 6. Medicine. Marijuana is a potent pain reliever and is a unique one for several conditions. Not much more to be said here, either. As you can see, I have researched this extensively. My research focused on marijuana, but the rest of the drugs have similar cases. Marijuana would be much better off legalized. EDIT: Not bad for a 200th post :XD: \

Theres cats as pets on rs so why not dog pets in rs?
Actually, when I suggested hunting with dogs (and I wasn't the first), I meant like you shoot a bird and the dog brings ot back, ferreting animals out of holes, stuff along those lines. And even IRL, when you hunt with dogs the game is not TORN apart, that would be a pointless waste of meat. Dogs are not big enough to take down a deer or something, they go after rabbits and such, which they can kill quickly with a quick nip to the head.

The pets we have now are pretty useless, I say if Jagex insists on putting pets into the game then give us a dog, dogs could do so much. I like the hunting dog idea, I don;t know what the OP's opposition to it was because I didn't understand what he said :? Plus they would look better, cats look pretty bad graphically.

No Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection...
For Nintendo WiFi, all you need is a wireless router in your home and you should be good. But if you don't have one and don't want to spen money on one, you can get the USB adapter. I don't think it's available in stores though, you have to order it online.

The lederhosen hat is ruined..
Yeah, it's a glitch. Long curtains are glitching with black mask too. Oh, and I got the Freaky Forester twice in one day like last week. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

Probably that she likes Ash. It's the only thing I'm sure she wouldn't tell Ash straight foward. Nah, I'd put $100 bucks against that (especially since that hypothesis seems to contradict itself in the second sentence :P ). She's still confused about the gender situation, and with her chactersitics (low self esteem, etc.), I doubt she'd confront Ash that early about it, especially when it could mess with the situation a great deal. Most likely she was going to say "I've been thinking a lot and... I'm not sure I want to go back to my old life." With the whole "near death incident", and the fact that she's having doubts about being just living her life studying (a lot of which has been very recent), and with the way she phrased the beginning of the sentence I find the odds that she was going to say that she doesn't want to go back to her old life 70% or more. Read back through the previous comic pages, she's been having a lot of second thoughts about her old life, and I'm sure she wouldn't want to forget Ash (as a friend or otherwise). Not sure if that's what NOM was thinking as well, but that's my hypothesis. Pretty much what I was saying. Which sort if brings up the question, would they retain their memories of everything that happened? Seeing as they retained their memories after the misfile, perhaps they would when they got changed back? And Emily seems to have it much etter off now after the misfile, but I'm sure Ash still wants to be changed back. It's a conundrum. Ingenious :P .

Totally. Couldn't have done better myself.

Germans claim to have broken the speed of light.
I wouldn't dismiss it that fast. People used to say it wasn't possible to travel to the moon, but we did it. I think that even if they had actually managed to make something go faster than the speed of light, it would still be pretty impractical as far as travel. And Eintein's theory of relativity is just that, a theory. That doesn't make it true.

PSP anyone?
I would definitely recommend DS. PSP, well, it's got the typical Sony attribute of having a load of features stuffed into what's supposed to be a portable game system, but it doesn't make up for what the DS has got on it. DS has WiFi play, I'm not sure if PSP does but I don't think so, and you have not experienced handheld fun until you have played a Wifi match of Metroid Prime: Hunters : That game is an example of great use of the DS's features, inculding the touch screen. Yes, many games do not utilize it well, but usually those games aren't worth getting anyway. And when you get a game system, you want it for the games, right? I honestly couldn't care less that the PSP has all the MP3 and video features, if you really wanted them so does the DS, and who nowadays doesn't have an iPod? IMO, DS wins, and yes I've played PSP. It just isn't as fun.

Movies you cried through... {see 1st post}
How2PK's post aside, I hated Eragon so much I wanted to track down Paolini and beat him senseless for doing it. HE WROTE THE SCREENPLAY!!! Gawd, he could have done his own book a bit more justice, I love his books but the movie was god-awful. . . Oh, and I was severely disappointed with Chronicles of Narnia as well. The movie adaptations are getting worse. . . And I haven't seen Spidey 3 or Shrek 3, but I though Pirates 3 was pretty good. Better than 2 anyway.

I'm starting High School Yikes!
I'm going back as a sophomore in less than a week, and let me tell you, freshman year was a blast. It's nothing to be afraid of at all. The amount of homework I got was so small that I spent more time having fun than I did on homework. And freshmen are treated very well at my school, don't know about others but generally I've found that the horrible treatment of freshmen is a myth. So really, there's nothing to be afriad of, it's quite fun actually. What you really need to be afraid of is sophomore and junior year, or so I'm told. But I won't know until I get there, and neither will you.

The New World Order
Actually people in tip.it are skeptical, wich you encourage. We're not "narrow-minded" just because we don't run after every theory or idea you provide. There's a difference between being narrow-minded and skeptical, they're easily confused. Being skeptical means having a doubt, and making your own research to find out the truth, this is what we want you to do. Being narrow-minded means being biased, or unreceptive to new ideas. Check your dictionary. I'm fully behind Mercifull on this one, there's a difference between having an open mind and having a hole in your head through which your brain leaks out. Look at your sig. It's one thing to be open minded and embrace the possibilty of things, but quite another to believe anything that goes against the grain of common knowledge just for the sake of going against the grain of common knowledge (and don't nitpick at word choice, I couldn't find a better one). Having an open mind towards alternate truths does not make them automatically true. That being said, I think the entire terrorist conspiracy thing is ludicrous, corrupt though our government is they wouldn't stage terrorist attacks on our own soil. They would run the risk of being exposed, as these videos and theories claim to do, and that would be catastrophic.

Ha ha! Another one gets trapped! The beginning is what really hooks you. Ash's "Holy crap, I'm a girl," and then Rumisiel popping up, talking about being kicked out of heaven for smoking pot. . . It's hilarious. Rumisiel is awesome, even though he's the idiot that messed everything up. "REVERSE SPIRAL TIME!" Wow, I've posted on this thread 4 times now. . .

What am i going to do with my life?
Honestly, that's really a good idea. If you have the patience and affinity, you should really try your hand at writing (ohh pun). As I type this, I have Microsoft Word open typing page 137 of a novel that I sincerely hope to get published. Writing is really a great way to express yourself, as I think you've already realized since you posted this topic, and make money on top of that. I fond writing suits my preference of a lifestyle very well, and I think you should at least try it.

One thing I thought of, it's going to be an adjustment to read a page a day now as they come out after reading 700 something pages straight through. I guess it will give me more time to appreciate each page, since you can get pretty caught up in the reading and blast through the pages without looking at the art much.
