I don't read too many comics, and I don't have any that are worth good money. But I do have the hardcover collections of Runaways. Best comic ever, even if it isn't a classic. Created by B.K. Vaughn, but he left and now Joss Whedon is doing them. Runaways FTW
  2. I can wiggle my ears. Except you can't usually see my ears :XD:
  3. Maybe you could add Sauerkrauts in here somewhere. TIFers are trustworthy. Usually.
  4. I only wonder what the kid's reaction will be when he gets old enough to realize what his name is. . . I really think that parents should be a little less careless when naming thier kids. They might hate them for it later.
  5. No...whos NOM_ANOR? You Nerd! That was directed at the OP. I'm nobody. . .
  6. They drank more? What I have noticed is that Rowling chose to ignore that before the Polyjuice potion only changed your looks, not your voice. It's one of the downfalls of Rowling's writing that she tends to take the easy way out. I noticed that the Polyjuice Potion was changing their voices as well even though when first introduced in CoS it didn't. We can assume that she changed it with Barty Crouch Jr. impersonating Moody. I also noticed that boggarts were never dealt with in the same way again, by forcing them to assume an amusing shape and the laughter finishing them. After PoA characters just said Ridikkulus and the boggart disappeared. . . I'm sure there are more holes, but I'm too tired to think of them now. It is rather diappointing that Rowling chose to disregard what she had already written because it served her purposes better.
  7. Ever read The Da Vinci Code? :-s

Take it from me, deaf is the lesser of two evils. Being hearing impaired myself (Not completely deaf, I wear hearing aids, and no I'm not old), I can definitely say that I've thought about this kind of thing and I have decided that I value my eyesight way more than I ever would my hearing. Look at us now, communicating through written word. Thankfully I can still listen to music and everything, but it wouldn't kill me to go without, not like not being able to see art, a woman I love, where the hell I'm going, etc. TIF officially has its own resident half-deaf! Yay!
  9. Agreed on everything there. [hide] The whole book struck me as Harry Potter Apocalypse. Total death toll (Including Bellatrix and Voldemort): 14. 14 major (well at least named and appearing in more than one book, with one exception)character deaths. . . I assume it was Fred whom Rowling cried about when she wrote him off. I almost cried too. And I though it was bad when George. . . Yeah.[/hide]
  10. I'm not as concerned with this as lead paint on children's toys being manufactured in China...
  11. I view the Internet as an alternate plane of reality. And Abbysalwhip was banned? What finally did it? (I've been away for a while)
  12. You can't even go on TIF without finding spoilers... I already had some things spoiled because idiots have posted a summary of everything significant on random YouTube videos... And it seems that theres no hope that it's all a foiler seeing how someone scanned the whole damn thing and uploaded it. What motivates people to do such things, I'll never figure out. They get in trouble with the law just to ruin people's fun. Anyway, I was never one to theorize about Harry Potter, but I did notice the RAB thing that was mentioned, that in OotP, when they are cleaning the cabinet in the drawing room in Number 12 Grimmauld Place, they found "A heavy golden locket that none of them could open." The real Slytherin's locket I would say. Which fits, seeing how RAB is assumed to stand for Regulus A Black. Oh, and I thing the barman of the Hog's Head is Dumbledore's brother.

^ There is a sequence to moving the cubes, but it's done form a random starting point. They're called algorithms. If the cube was prearranged that would be cheating. And I figured out how to solve one, I can do it in a few minutes. I didn't take it far enough to be like those people you see that can literally flick the sides and make them move...
  14. HA
  15. I choose Peter Petrelli's power. Then I could have all of yours!
  16. There is nothing I want to change about myself physically that can't actually be changed by some work on my part. Mentally, the only problem I have is shyness/nervousness. It's a shame, I'm always really nervous about doing stuff like presenting in front of a class or talking to important people, but when I actually do it I'm really good at it and I take it in stride. But I need to get over the initial shyness. Don't complain. 5'7 at 13 is a decent height. I was 2 inches shorter than you at your age. I'm now 15 and 5'11, so don't worry if you want more height, you'll probably get it.
  17. +1 I hate most of the mainstream rock of today, it all sounds the same and just isn't talented. That's why I go for RHCP. All classic rock is pretty much a favorite with me, and out of current bands I like The White Stripes, Wolfmother, Foo Fighters, RHCP, and more probably that I can't think of. But no screamo/emo/whatever crap.

I call BS on any score here above 140. Online tests are worthless, if you're going to take an IQ test take a real one. And IQ is inaccurate anyway, it doesn't really measure enough to be a complete summary of what you are capable of. Anyway, I haven't taken a real IQ test yet, but my high school entrance exam score contained a preliminary projected IQ score, and I got 139. I don't really trust it's accuracy, but I do more so than the online ones. It can't be off more than 10 points anyway, and that's still pretty good.
  19. Wise words.
  20. K... what happened to the friendly debate that was happening on the first few pages? We're just trying to spark some serious discussion about a pretty relevant issue, this is TIF, no need to get angry and flame... Hows about we keep this on friendly grounds mkay? I for one think this is a pretty good topic and don't want it to be locked.
  21. Argh, I only realised what you mean after a couple of minutes of hard thinking. Now the thoughts are coming through "OH GOD NO! NOT 'THE' THOUGHTS" Let's not go there :shame: Anyway, I returned an iPod nano i found on the ground by my locker. Turns out it belonged to a guy in my next class. 100th post \
  22. You should have both been suspended for having a stupid conversation. Owned.
  23. Don't see why anyone is complaining, this thread is hilarious
  24. Well... Yeah, slavery still exists, unfortunately, even though it's illegal everywhere. Seems to take low priority though. Anyway, this isn't going to stop me from eating chocolate 8-)

Some games work, Wii has basic flash programs and stuff, but more advanced programs like runescape won't run because the Wii isn't a computer, it doesn't have a lot of programs like Java.
