basically what you're saying is that in your spare time you play runescape, so in my opinion you're addicted No, you are only addicted when you play Runescape in your 'not-sparetime'. I define addiction when you play Runescape in the way of more important activities. If you play Runescape during all of your spare time, you still are not addicted, but you are on the borderline, so be careful not to let your time playing push into more important things. The only issue is when you are generating spare time for Runescape (eg you are unemployed because of RS). But then it is not really spare time. You are then addicted. You should be going out, perhaps get a job or a hobby or something, simply to then order what really is your spare time (3-4 hours a day is ideal) and what isn't. I'm pretty sure that I'm not addicted. I've given up temporarily, because I have studies and thus practically no spare time. The definition of addiction is very ambiguous, but I simply follow my own definition, whether it is completely true or not. Besides, I enjoy what I want to enjoy, and RS isn't the only thing that I enjoy. no if all u do in ur spare time is play rs than u are addicted

What you implied that if you dream about something you must be addicted to it. Which makes no sense at all, I've had dreams about all sorts of things that does not mean I have thousands of addictions. If you dream about rs than you are definetly addicted to it. No you are not, I don't understand why people think that. I've had about 5 dreams about runescape in the 5-6 years I've been playing, doesn't mean I'm addicted to it. I've had more dreams about other specific things in that time span and I'm not addicted to those either. And Fook, fair enough it's just how you said you had a dream about it and thus you must be addicted to it. (Or that's how I read your post anyway) To have a dream about a fictional game that you play on the computer is a big thing. LIke your mind makes it come to life and something actualy happeans. Are you addicted to runescape? Well how you answer that depends on your defintition of "addiction". My defintion of they word is "You can't stop doing something after you start". I'm not addicted to it by my definiton because i go out biking, running, skiing, and things like that. But i used to be addicted to runescape. That was when i either thought or played it 24/7. How did i get rid of this addiction? I went to camp, i tried out new things, and just told myself not to play it for 2 months. Now that those 2 months are up, i'm starting to play it again, but i'm not finding it as enjoyable as i did before. From what i can tell runescape is kind of like drugs or cigerattes. Once you have a bit, you can't stop it. The only way to stop it is to say "no". So are any of you addicted to runescape? P.S. If dream abotu runescape constantly you are addicted to it by my definition.

the noobs who complain about def only complain about it b/c they think they can own you with 99 str and 40 att (or something like that), so you win and then they whine b/c they'd been training for so long.

is say's there that anything on runescape is property of jagex so that means that they can do whatever they want with it weather you broke the rules or not b/c it is their game, their rules & they can change anything about it. So they control us in a way. =D>
