A combat rifle like an M16 would only be useful should you be constantly on the move. I believe it would be easier to hole up with a larger group in an easily defensible area, therefore hunting rifles could be much more useful.

Nobody mentioned them because of how few people on the planet can use them. Particularly effectively. Everything does. That's what those guns are made for.

Not hunting shotguns. Most hunting shotguns, like the one I pointed out as owning earlier, are made for longer hunting ranges than your typical pheasant shotgun. I could probably hit a target at 200 yards with fair wind. AK47s have tremendous recoil; someone without soldiering experience could never use one effectively. Even I have trouble hitting a target with bursts. Speaking of all these guns, I wanna go down to a shooting range soon...

I did that on the same map. Just about the same situation. I killed three instantly with one car punch, and the last one was stuck between the car and a building. Musta sucked for them :lol: (They stuck it out, and we beat them by about 8,000 points :3)

I plan on doing this. I wish I could have things to make it easier though, like passports and a cell phone to call my folks, and some sort of tent that could fit in my pocket. But yes, I would love this. More than a year, even. Just unplanned adventure ... it appeals to me. That's why I sorta wish I was born a loooong time ago.

Well, I'm in the top five percent of my class. I guess that's cool. I just wish my parents made a bigger deal about it. They're the ones that care, I could care less how well I do in school. I'm not even learning anything. But they never really celebrate my good grades. Just get mad at me for my bad ones. It kinda makes me mad. :/

It's very, very easy to learn how to use a weapon quickly. Particularly if your life depended on it. Plus, hopefully you'd be in a group with older people than yourself, and you'd be older period.

Eh, I'd like my shoes to be less dirty, but I don't much mind. It's just that my dirty means torn up as well...

Yeah, I love Winchesters. I've fired a rifle used by Texas Rangers fighting Comanches before the Civil War, and it was just as accurate up to 400 yards as a model 70 (my third favorite weapon).
