  1. That's a bit of a double standard. When others (and I, to some extent) have generalized atheists in the past, they were immediately rebuked. Yet, you seem to believe it's perfectly fine for your own uses. (I've not seen you rebuke the generalizations, only others)
  2. What are your beliefs, then? If they're so much haughtier (would that be the correct word? Synonym of "grand"?) then Christianity, and have so much more obvious rationality, I'd like to know. Beliefs are forced on us? No, no, no. If anything, the general atheist I meet is only an atheist because they want to be a rebel (not talking about you folks, you put up a good debate for the most part). Whereas my Christian friends have all looked deeply into their religion, some of whom converted to Christianity from their parents. Agunimon's words were:"Wow, that show God Rules is apparently so unimportant it doesn't even have a wiki -_- nice job christians." That last part (and a few posts that occurred earlier) makes me think of Christians in general, though I may be wrong. I don't enjoy organized religion, either, but I don't believe paying ten dollars to help rebuild a church as anything bad. Or giving money into collection during church, it all goes to various good causes at the few churches I've visited. Nothing can be proven in the universe in general. On our planet and perhaps in our solar system our brains' concepts of logic and rationality can be everywhere. But farther out into the universe, illogicality and irrationality abound. If my beliefs make me stubborn, so be it. What's your excuse?
  3. They have to pay for it somehow. Plus, they've been advertising this since the beginning of the year, I believe.
  4. I don't believe in that, either. As in, I suppose I can believe the Adam and Eve story in a way. Our free will is used in bad ways, and certain people ruin the whole world, but God can't do anything. Could always say that's why children are so innocent. Or their brains are underdeveloped, whatever floats your boat, I guess.

Good luck finding an empty lootshare world, damn near every one is crowded with a dozen rangers screaming "L0l 1 hit!!@!!". Poor dragon.
  6. So you hate over a billion people because under a hundred of them make a stupid show?
  7. The Real Tuesday Weld-Dreams.
  8. Doesn't matter to me. I'll still live as well as I can.
  9. Man, I hope the world doesn't end in 2012. I want to graduate before I die. Also, to whoever said a black hole from the Large Hadron Collider, scientists have pointed out that far more collisions occur in the atmosphere. How do I think we'll all die? Well, at this rate, STDs probably. People really need to stop being fools and start wrapping their tools.
  10. Yeah, all this advice is good. But maybe you're also on ecstasy. Seriously though, it's no real problem. You have a dancer's blood.

Congress simply wouldn't allow the second amendment to be repealed. Never, in the history of the United States, has the Bill of Rights been altered. And I can assure you, as long as the Congress is not completely of the same mind, it will not. Not to mention the protests across the nation, which could even evolve into riots. Absolute worst case scenario, damn near a civil war.
  12. I've looked it up, it was a size F-2, near F-3. For those of you illiterate with tornadoes, that's about 100-150 mph winds. Monkey, who says we don't appreciate our life? Have you ever been to a southern Baptist revival? One of the most lively experiences in the world. How am I suppose to know how that child would feel, True? What if you were about to be shot, would you pray to the Earth to deliver a tree and bash the gunman away? I can't tell how someone else would feel, and for the most part, how I would feel. I doubt you can, either. And Ag, you're basing your life on hating people (ignorantly) for their religion. Whew, that got a bit personal. I apologize.
  13. I know, some people will believe what they will. I can't say what I would have felt, it didn't happen. I'm definitely not one to think about the "What ifs?", as much as a can at least. You seem to want reason and logic to lead you in the world, Lateralus. I see nothing wrong with that, and that's how I live a sizable portion of my life. It just doesn't dictate my entire being, I guess. I believe if one's constrained by logic and reason, they can't achieve everything they want. Like being the first man to wrestle a giant bear. On one of Saturn's rings.
  14. My question is how does one arrive at a position where just faith is enough? Well, I have a story. You may call it silly or a sheer coincidence, but it's enough for me. I never used to be a very faithful Christian. Of course, even now I'm not particularly orthodox, but that's not the point. Once, there was a tornado heading for my home. It wasn't a particularly large one, but we lived in an aluminum-sided and roofed trailer home. We were about to run to my grandparents' more sturdy home, but my mother took one step out of the door, and she got caught up in it. My father and brother grabbed her, and my older sister held me back. I prayed with all my heart, asking God to spare me and my family. I can't remember anything else from that until the next morning, when we woke up laying on the floor of our living room. My family was fine, our home was fine, all that happened was our trampoline getting lobbed over our roof into our neighbors' driveway. Pieces of the material were snagged on our roof, it passed that close. I'm now somewhat of a born-again Christian, I pray every night, go to church occasionally, and think of that moment every now and again. Call it what you will, it showed me God cares.
  15. Faith is plenty reasoning for me. Have fun misconstruing this in your own, arrogant ways, TrueNoob.
  16. Put your stats into this, then it should show the quests you can do at your stats.
  17. Your resolution has to be a bit high as well. EDIT: It's against the rules to say where you can get free online movies (apart from things like YouTube), I think, but you can always watch movies on your PC.
  18. great advice! Not really, considering how difficult it would be to set the cannon up so it doesn't mess up your mass of skeletons every time you load it. I don't even think you can bring cannons into the dungeon, actually.
  19. You're very bad at making a point.
  20. And yours don't exist. Is that really the best you can come up with?
  21. I wouldn't do this, personally. I'd like to help people, but in a lot of these things family and a couple friends have gone on, they sat them in hospitals or places like that, and it was in general not a good experience. But that was in Africa, and there were diseases and killings everywhere. So I wouldn't mind going to India, looks to be a very nice nation. Only volunteer work I've done is help landscape houses for the homeless/poor/lazy. Mostly the latter, unfortunately.
  22. Your arguments are so tactful.

Thinking one of the Bills of Rights will be repealed is complete naivete (I can't remember how to make that little flourish).
  24. Oh, since you asked so nicely, everyone will just come home right quick. Oh, wait. The world doesn't work like that. And it's an occupation, not an invasion.
