  1. Don't take your mooooooooooooooooooooom. Take a lady friend that is attractive but you are unattracted to or, even better, a gay friend.
  2. I always knew sister's friends as off-limits because of [cabbage] it causes. But, then again, my sister's almost ten years older than me, so take that as you will.
  3. No, actually, you're one of the least caustic people on this board if you ask me. Whenever you say something funny, it's never making fun of someone. I must be being too subtle. I'm horrifyingly sarcastic in real life.

You guys are making Australia sound like ... Lubbock.
  5. The ones I intend to get would be even shallower. As in, a folded crew neck, basically. I have a couple of v-necks that are like that, though. Got them from my brother. They're really too large.

Some strange person has been calling me for the past half hour when I was in the shower, leaving messages that sound a lot like a cartoon walrus ... crying. The number looks familiar, but it isn't anyone I know. I'm pretty confused.
  7. Not shallow ones. They're just shirts that are a little more open. Now, what I don't understand is fashionable: cardigan sweaters. I always thought those were girl-exclusive. Like pantyhose and bras, guys pretty much don't wear them except for special occasions.
  8. They tasted somewhat sour to me...
  9. Also: when you think of sarcasm, think of me!
  10. That's horrible advice. That's probably the most boring conversation I've ever heard. It might work, but you don't just want it to work, you want to blow this girl away with your mastery of conversation. Question/comments, that can be interpreted as your musings or a real question, are best. Not just yes/nos or anything she can answer with "fine", ie "how are you?" Provoke thought and fun. Very few people do, and they are the ones that stand above the rest. Be positive.
  11. I need to buy more tight V-necks. I wore a friend's today because I was washing my clothes and we have [cabbage] to do, and I gotta say, favorable reviews in general.
  12. I get that occasionally. I just do something boring and repetitive. Preferably when it's rather dark.

Speaking of gay clubs: my brother always went to them if he wasn't looking for girls. Since in this town, any bar you go to is really just an excuse to frat boys to get drunk and fight anybody without a hat tilted to the side, the gay clubs are apparently a breath of fresh air. And the girls are a lot less inhibited and more fun, since they think, "He's gay, he just wants to dance and feel me up! He's only appreciating female beauty!" I was intrigued. I've not been to one, though I have been hit on by a gay dude. It does make you feel good inside, seeing as gay people are excellent judges of attractiveness.

Haha. Me and a friend always joke about rooming together in college because we both have a ridiculous amount of college stuff. But I learned that UT provides about half of it, so we can't bring it. I mean, we both have two mini-fridges, we each have several TVs, we both have more than 10 speaker systems put together, maybe 3 stereos ... Haha. I would probably not room with him, though. Mainly because he doesn't intend to go to UT. That proves difficult, you know? Anyways, I was researching colleges because I don't really have anything better to do right now, and I might as well do something productive, you know? And I learned that, since UT is probably the largest typical university with a film program not located in LA or New York City, the Radio-Television-Film program gives junior and senior-level students an offer of a semester in LA program, where you do internships and the like. It looks like it would be cool. The University of Texas is pretty much my main choice, seeing as other schools with film programs (USC, UCLA, NYU, etc.), while they would be incredibly fun, are all too expensive and really too far away. Austin is the perfect mix of a modern city and good ol' Texan hospitality. I don't know why I'm rambling to you guys. If I were you, I wouldn't give two damns where I intend to attend college. I still need to find out if UT defers admitted students for gap year programs, though ...

Hey, look at us, we get snow. I get ice, sleet, dust, and cotton. Which, I guess, if you squint and take off your clothes, looks and feels like snow. Only, hurts.
  16. Nobody I know knows of Justice, so in my circles they are underrated. Although I've heard better. I just like a couple of their songs. They're good for ambient stuff or parties, as with all electronica/techno music.

Damn it that sounds good now. But the best I have is boring white people "mexican".

Quit poking your head in and leaving! I finished finals ([bleep]ing wanna kill my english teacher, but that's a story for another day), then hung out with some friends, got some food and went to a record store. I thought you lived in Texas... You finish your school year in December? We have finals every semester.

Real Mexican food is where it's at. Not all this enchilada, fajita, Taco Bell [cabbage]. You won't find that anywhere south of the border - or, really, at any recent immigrant's house. I tire of Mexican easily, though. I get a lot of it, and it's generally authentic and delicious. I just prefer stuff I haven't grown up with.
  20. God that is the stupidest part about high school dating. How can you be going out if you've never gone out! I despise when people spend all their time at school with whoever they're "dating," when all they do outside is just text each other or whine about how they aren't with them. [bleep]ing idiotic. Sorry. I'm on a high horse for no good reason. Just tired, I guess. Try doing something that isn't so cliche as a movie date on Friday night. Boring, generally awkward, and completely typical. She will appreciate the change, although she will likely be uncomfortable if you are. If you radiate "Hey, this is way less boring and you know it!" that is when she will think, "Hey he is a real stand-up kind of guy." Verbatim?
  21. Or you could get a nice pair of shoes that doesn't get awful within weeks.

Quit poking your head in and leaving! I finished finals ([bleep]ing wanna kill my english teacher, but that's a story for another day), then hung out with some friends, got some food and went to a record store. Quite boring for us, but they were new people I did not know and we were all very hungry. Went to a "party" with the cast and some crew from our play. It was ... odd. I mean, it was fun and all. It's just ... I feel wierd because I don't know all the broadway stuff that they do. That's pretty much all they do, sing musical stuff (pretty much all girls). But a couple of them are hot and dig me pretty hard, and they're still fun to be around. Then, met another new person and did a few stupid things, but then a fence emergency at my house brought me back for the night. Tomorrow, bright and early, incredibly stupid [cabbage] is what I plan to do. In a canyon. With sharp tools. ALRIGHT!
  23. My brother recently warned me of the ridiculous ways a first date at the movies could go wrong (a little late on the uptake, bro!) with an anecdote from his days of high school, when he was pretty much a little loser (not a long shot away from me until this summer!) So, a couple of my brother's friends had girlfriends. They wanted to see a movie with my brother since they hadn't hung out in a while, but since high school dudes don't understand that your girlfriend doesn't need to be with you constantly like a bracelet, they were naturally going too. My brother didn't want to go, until they said a girl cousin would join them. So, my brother agreed, expecting a generally boring/plain girl. Apparently, she was one of the hottest girls he'd seen. Now, what do high schoolers do at movies? My brother's friends were, of course, just going to town. My brother's "date" attempted to, but my brother was uncomfortable and self-conscious, not knowing what to do. So, she got a random guy to come and they were making out and all that junk. All while my brother was sad. For a two and a half hour movie. Anyways, a movie date won't necessarily be that bad, but judging the comfort levels of most of the people who post here (asking for advice is fantastic and everyone should, it's just that it's usually those who need it not quite the most - but a lot - that get it), it will be awkward. Walking around someplace simply talking is generally better. But, then again, that takes confidence in going against the current... Ah well, gotta grow some balls sometime chaps! I don't know whether I've ever had a true-blue movie date. If we ever watched a movie, it was only part, because then we left and did stupid [cabbage] - like I do.

I had a gyro and baklava today from a Lebanese place my friends know of. Very, very good.
  25. Her singles are always fun. I don't look more in-depth than that. And that's all that matters to me!
