Girl gets raped, and then disowned by Family
I don't like it any more than anyone else here. I just think it's ridiculous how much these people are foaming at the mouth over this - not to mention making the most idiotic comments about how the family must be religious or something. Now I think it's pretty stupid, but I'm sure to the family it's perfectly fine. But seriously, these people need to calm down. Saying these kids need to be raped and castrated and all that? Give me a break. If you want poetic justice, quit condemning Islam, 'cause that's about the only way you'll find it.

Greater Argentina proposes that the SAR (we might need to change our name ... or at least make sure someone doesn't take the same name. Don't want any SARs...) begin to move towards isolationism. Especially on the Pacific coast, poverty is still a major problem. Sporadic drug fighting from Colombia is often spilling into Bolivia. I think we really need to focus on that. Greater Argentina is also inviting all world leaders to a new world convention, where we can discuss issues of the world - whether there are still any rogue states, when the Olympics will reconvene, you know, stuff like that. Seeing as it's nearly the end of the year (it's 10 pm for me, so I declare it the end of the year!), this should be a good time, no? It's still summer here, guys. And Buenos Aires is known for being one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Speaking of Buenos Aires, city cleanup is almost complete. Suburbs have sprawled and replaced the shantytowns, and many projects are planned for international trade centers and buildings as ridiculous as Dubai's. All home and business owners are being given tax breaks to build gardens, solar panels, and in the cases of landowners the occasional wind turbine. A desalinization/water treatment plant is being designed that could effectively clean enough water to provide the entire metro area with enough water to last for thirty years, but it will be expensive - the actual plant is to be built near Tierra del Fuego, to prevent any risks of damaging the abundant sealife in the warmer waters farther north. I think that Eagle can join the SAR. Oil (or at least cash) to us in exchange for our assistance in your drug conflicts? Also, Greater Argentina is considering giving Chile and Peru back their autonomy, although they'll likely join back with the SAR. Maintaining those roads in the Andes is turning out to be a real [bleep].

Im guessing your Christian and other other religions are wrong right? Yes. Some aspects of religions are wrong. Condemning your daughter if she got raped, condemning homosexuals, killing all infidels, cut the hand off a thief, stoning to death a man who spoke against God. We can't use religion as an excuse. Because if that was the case, I'll make my own religion saying I can do whatever I want and (by your logic) the cops can't stop me. It isn't just religion. People aren't all hardwired with white, middle-class 1990s values. People from other parts of the world (take Liberia) have entirely different ways of thinking. Their brains will consider problems differently, as they're used to an entirely different environment. Being an immigrant (or refugee) anywhere would suck.

Well, I'll need to see if Nick agrees, but generally a lot of ruralization. People are leaving the cities for the nearly free land in the Pampas and Patagonia and building small farms. Most people are growing enough to survive, and many are turning the rest of their land into farms for wind, solar, or other green power sources. Many disgusting lakes in the Buenos Aires region are being studied for possibilities of using the algae in them for power. The military is almost 400,000 active personnel strong now, and the Air Force has doubled in size, while the Navy has almost quadrupled. Ship routes around the Cape are being monitored due to very plausible pirate activity, and rail routes are being built between the Atlantic and Pacific. Now, if other people would play as major places like Cuba, Venezuela and the like, it would be nice, because really Argentina, Brazil, and Venezuela are the major powers of South America anyways. Also, Argentine agricultural scientists have developed new crops and new methods of growing old crops, making Argentines the leaders of advancement in tropical agriculture - namely bananas, cocoa, and coffee, which have all taken hold surprisingly well in the relatively dry Pampas, thanks to new irrigation techniques. We may give sugar cane a swing soon, but that might be iffy - sugar cane needs to be a lot more wet than coffee trees.

Mmm, that's true, not a whole lot of people have joined yet. We need to develop a mod for Civilization IV or something and actually play this, haha.

I don't think we should put Empire in our name, as it creates a bad image. Republic is good though, or something generally correlating to democracy. I think with a unified South/Central America (AIDs vaccines and all! How about we trade cocoa and coffee for those vaccines? All you Hawaiians have are tons of pineapples and delicious fish - scientists' bodies physically require coffee and chocolate), Cuba would gladly join, especially since Fidel isn't the major man any more. Hopefully Cuba will buckle into a bit more democratic system, and the United States will get rid of that ridiculous embargo. Now, I'm very wary of moving into Central America. It's even more impoverished than northern South America, and the drug wars in Mexico are just as bad as in Colombia. Perhaps we could get some help from the US to help stem illegal immigration by making Mexico suck less. We're quite on our way to owning half of the Western Hemisphere. We still have to form a better plan for Venezuela, Cuba, and Colombia, and then move on to Central America/The Caribbean. We'll probably have to have Tortoise's go-ahead with our plans on these nations, but Bolivia and Peru should go easily. Ecuador will certainly follow Venezuela. How are our internal affairs, Nick? Next stop: keeping Rocco company in Africa!

"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
Many, many relationships end badly. I want to say most. 99.9% of mine have. (Have I had a hundred? Or a thousand? Well, out of my four or five actual relationships, they've all ended badly.) Now, eight months, that is a long time. It's possible that you loved her, although I'd still lean towards liking her a hell of a lot. You have to remember that a lot of stuff high school girls do, they do because it's stupid. That goes for guys too, but we're talking about girls here ... Take example A: One of my best friends, we attempted dating a while ago. Now she dates a guy who literally sits in his house and smokes pot all day (and tries to make music, but it sucks). I know this kid, we went to his house once and that's all he wanted to do. She says she loves him. She's actually given him money for weed (in high school, unless you're buying dinner or a gift or something, you never actually give money to someone. At least, I haven't and don't plan to.). I've told her he's an [wagon], and most of her girlfriends agree. That's one of the major reasons why she dates him. Rebellion is exciting. Anyways, I've been dragging on. Just don't worry that she did that. You just gotta find a new girl now.

::.Fable Discussion Thread.:: Fable 3 Released!
"recognize things from the first one"? They completely recycled the quest line. That's what pissed me off the most. If that continues for another three games, with only a few cool things in there like Fable 2, I'll [bleep]ing shoot up the studio. Fable was an amazing game. Fable II is fun, but it's practically the same thing. In fact, it's a little bit worse because there's no fishing! :(

Okay Nick, you can be the Internal Affairs Minister. Pretty cool name, huh? Anyways ... I don't know about South America's new name. South American Federation or Union maybe? Anyways. I think we should try and unify the continent, then look into assisting other second-class powers that could be made great. If we aid in the research towards AIDs and malaria, we could assist much of Africa into fantastic allies. I'm in for indy's plan. I think Venezuela could buckle without too much trouble, especially if we encouraged a new election that results in Chavez winning again. Plenty of revolutionaries willing to overthrow their leader, but we'd have to make sure they don't bite their hand that feeds.

That sounds like a good idea to me. With the Argentinean military buildup, I'm concentrating on the Navy and Air Force. Complete South American assimilation would be incredibly beneficial. At current rankings, Brazil is already one of the ten most powerful nations in the world, while Argentina is a minor power akin to South Africa. I'll be shooting for raising my military strength into a few hundred thousand, based on required service for 5 months after you turn 17, and after that either remaining in a reserve force that trains two weekends a month minimum, with one full week during summer - or staying in the regular active military for 2 years (minimum). Despite a large defense budget (which I will be raising) our Navy doesn't even total a hundred craft (despite being a major port nation, particularly with Uruguay and Chile assimilated) and our Air Force could be run by the Americans' aircraft carriers. I want to at least triple our current strength. I think we should try and ally ourselves with China. They have a massive defense budget, and should they decide to, they would be able to put more boots on the ground than Greater Argentina has people. Their main issues seem to be the same as ours - a ridiculously weak Navy and Air Force. Any true invasion would probably be able to be stopped thanks to South America's lovely Andes.

I'm in for unifying South America. Greater Argentina is in, although we still need the rest of the continent. I don't trust Colombia or Venezuela to go easily. With much of the Pamapas being turned into small, family-owned ventures, solar and wind farms will be a readily available source of energy. I'm proposing a tax increase on all but those that would benefit the least from it (all families making less than 40,000 dollars American a year) towards development of organic technology - solar panels that can be placed on trees yet not hinder development in any way, massive algae ponds being harvested to power cities. Green energy is to become as large a business in Greater Argentina as farming and ranching - hopefully all the green power will attempt to maintain carbon neutrality. With cities like Buenos Aires and half of the country's exports dedicated to cattle ranching, we'll start leaving a large footprint if we don't help. Now, doom, how should we begin to assimilate those other South American nations? I guarantee Colombia is profiting too much from drugs to change a whole lot - plus the nation is very full of corruption and strife, even today. Venezuela is a tricky subject, but we could have a major hand with all their oil. Also, how about Antarctica? Are all the real-life Treaties still in play?

I will begin wheat and beef export to needy countries if I could get malaria vaccines. It isn't bad in Argentina, but if South American consolidation is to become a reality, malaria needs to be wiped out. And with AIDs out of the way, African powerhouses may become a reality within a few decades. We need to say when we actually get this going.

Is this guy allowed to take like 1/5 of the world? Pick a country not a continent. OH GOD AUSTRALIA AAAAUUUUGH Is this guy allowed to take like 1/5 of the world? Pick a country not a continent. Really? :( I'll take South Africa then. It's like, half a continent. :D HAVE FUN WITH YOUR COAL MINES SIRRAH. I AM TOO LAZY TO ACTUALLY MAKE AN IMAGE THAT WORKS I GUESS. ACCURSED TINYPIC IS NOT WORKING.

Reveal Confessions, Secrets & Regrets...
Ah, home schooling. Parents really [bleep] kids over with that. They aren't complete idiots (well, unless they're parents are), but they're awkward and pretty much unable to function with other people. At least now you're out of that, so ... Just go to a good buddy's house. If more than just one person is involved, all for the better. Let me think of what I'd done, because I can't remember how old you are so I'm just gonna generalize by (American) grades. 6th Grade - a lot of videogames, tossing the football, occasional movies. Feel cool sneaking into R rated ones. 7th grade - still some videogames with your friends, a lot of times you'll get more active and be in bigger groups. Going to the mall, movies, "parties". 8th grade - pretty much the same, although you'll probably start walking and biking around, picking up extra people. 9th grade - well, me and my friends are wierd. We'll sit at someone's house and listen to music and talk about nothing much into all hours of the night. Other times, we walk all around town, go driving around (make older friends, it helps a real [cabbage]-load), just start exploring the world. Now you'll start falling into a clique likely, everyone generally does. I mean, you still hang out and have friends in other "groups", but you aren't heading out to canyons with them. I tend to keep on good terms with a lot of people. Anyways, now there will generally be a party group. These are all the good-looking people, usually wealthy, and very often [wagon]. If you're their friend, sure they'll get along with you, but otherwise it's like you don't exist. If you aren't already one of these folks, forget about it. Lotta drinking, some drugs, and piles of sex. There will be some sort of skateboarding group. They're easy to get along with. Uhh, if you're in band or theater or something, you'll have friends from there. Gangsters and thugs, I guess. Jocks, although at my school everyone's in athletics so I wouldn't consider that a clique ...Then just other groups. Take me and my friends. We drive out to the lake with crowbars and machetes and explore for ten hours. Then we go to Chick-Fil-A and hit up some hotties*. *Note: Chick-Fil-A stands up to its name. It is some sort of haven for girls. And the food is [bleep]ing great, too. Anyways, I think you're around my age. So you'll probably get rides from your parents, just over to someone's house that's sort of centrally located to a lot of friends. Once you make older friends, that can drive, that'll be a big help. Just get to "the staging area" and walk around a little, maybe get picked up by an older friend. Just hanging out.

Heey, if Venezuela buckles you guy's had better watch out for the South American Diplomacy. It's called SAD because that's what will happen to you guys. Isolationism, [garden tool]! I think we should make a map. And break up places like the United States. Not into individual states, but maybe general regions. Then again, Argentina's big. So never mind.

I call Macedonia. Just you wait, we're overdo for another world conquering. Or I'll join the revolution. Revolutionary girls are always hotties. Okay, maybe I should get realistic. I want Argentina. Large area, great ports, mainly beautiful climate, and basically it's a giant Texas. My first actions will go towards upping funding on domestic needs - transportation, military, and urban blight primarily. I'll split up the massive ranches of the Pampas and offer smaller parcels of land for very cheap rates to those willing to work it. I'll also strengthen relations with the US, Germany, Israel, France, and Italy, due to their being current suppliers of most military needs of Argentina, while trying my hardest to work into self-sufficiency. One of my first moves will be an attempt to annex Chile, Uruguay, and Paraguay. I will try to build South America into one Argentinian-built superpower, although that will be difficult with the vast differences between Spanish South America and Portuguese Brazil. Brazil is the other dominant power in South America, so that will be a major issue - hopefully a very good alliance can be built. Now, the annexation of Uruguay is mainly a safety move - southern Uruguay is densely packed with people due it its being in the same large, gorgeous region beautiful Buenos Aires is. Paraguay is to encourage tropical farms - large farms that specialize in growing varieties of tropical plants, mixed in with each other - an attempt to live in harmony with the rain forest, grow it back, and still get all the necessities from it. Chile, well, we'd really like some copper. Also, building large transportation links between ports on the Atlantic and Pacific will have fantastic trade bonuses. Destino manifesto, amigos!

Girl gets raped, and then disowned by Family
...? You do realize that half the things you consider "right" and "just" were written up by rich, old, white men, right? And then tweaked a little over a period of years? The West generally follows the same Euro-American morals and laws. I doubt many people I know could survive in another country - and I don't mean spending a week in Paris. I'm talking about going and talking to revolutionaries and staying with them in the jungles of the Congo. I really doubt I could. And yet the same people still feel the need to judge what's right and wrong. Humanism hasn't caught on quite as much in the rest of the world, guys. Although you can do research on Homer's time if you want worse ...

Boy Scouts...
I would have liked to be in Boy Scouts when I was younger. Mostly for the backpacking and stuff to be honest, all that other crap would get on my nerves. But now it's way more fun to learn that stuff with friends your own age who never learned either. Speaking of backpacking and stuff, thanks for reminding me - I really need to buy some new equipment. My good knife snapped in half a while back.

Girl gets raped, and then disowned by Family
Nine and ten year old boys can rape someone...? I didn't even know what I had until I was about 11 or 12. Now, they'd all better hope to change cities, if not states. Those three won't have friends at all. Unless Arizona is wierder than I thought, every single student will hate and want to punish them. I'd like to know more about the people and families involved. Fourteen-year-old doesn't give me much information. And it's likely that the girl's family is Muslim, or perhaps Mormon. Those are the only grounds I could see someone disowning their daughter over this for, unless they're all just nuts.

"If you're ever in ___, you absolutely HAVE to ___ ___!"
Well, according to a new report, if you're ever in Lubbock, you absolutely HAVE to wear a condom at all times. Approximately one in every three and a half women, ages 10-19, have chlamydia. Oh, you want to know the percentages of the other diseases? They haven't even finished the report yet. I love our news stations. Right after this story they went to news about how our county fair is coming along.
