Not very good. Not common and they only drop 1 at a time. Btw guys, Mage Def+Pray melee is the best way to go about this. I've seen MANY 130+ almost die because they went there in bandos and prayed mage. The thing hit 300+s on them. If you don't pray melee then they don't mage you. While they can hit high (300+) they rarely do and then a unicorn and some food will be enough to heal you up, won't even need that if you have soul split. ahh, thanks for the info. Just a heads up guys. Mod Ninja came into my world and asked questions, if we had any problems, ect. While he was there, someone asked him what the drop rate of the Whip Vine was. Mod Ninja said that he couldn't say the drop rate. But then someone said "Probably 1/512, like the whip" To which Mod Ninja replied "That would be a good prediction though. ;)" So the drop rate is probably a little below or higher than that.

Sold mine for 32m :P Probably should have tried the ge, but i'm happy. :)

Considering I'm close to 99 slay, I was looking at other 99s I could get. Mage is one, but I'm only about level 90 in the skill, and my cash pile is limited considering I'm training Summoning a lot. So I have 2 things to ask: 1) Is Arcane Stream Necklace really necessary to do Mage Slayer efficiently? Because I really despise Dungeoneering and would rather not train it, but I think I could suck it up if it makes a really big difference. 2)What would be a cost effective way to do my tasks? As in which spell?

Both of those answers do make sense. Maybe I should just sell like 3 now and keep two? I'm not very good with money. :P Well, am I right in saying that the new whip attachment will come from the new slayer monster? That's what I thought the BTS said, but I've heard conflicting reports. I'm thinking that either way whips go, I could still stand to make a profit off of the attachment.

So I've been camping Abyssal Demons for money, mostly so I can multitask and watch tv but that's besides the point. As of today, I have about 5 whips drops. My question is when should I sell them? Am I right in thinking that Monday/Tuesday(whenever the update comes out) they will sharply rise for a select few hours? I realize that there is a large supply of whips in the game but I still thought that they would spike up in price on release day. Another option would be selling them today for 1.7m or so each, still a decent amount of profit. Any thoughts guys?

400 points=roughly a mil in Slayer Dart Runes. It's a nice little bonus. :) Much better than the 10k Slay exp you could get with them.

Completely agreed, friend. It's Jagex's pet skill and they just love showing us how "awesome" it is. Frankly, I'm hoping this whip update makes it just as good as chaotics.

Badly edited but whatever :P +4 whips, +4 effigies. Camping Abbys for 3 days or so. Going to keep going until next week. :) Hoping to sell the whips to some eager people on the release day rush. :shades:
