Achievement Capes' Respect
No it didn't. Well maybe not a whole lot more, but a bit more. At the very least, it added a bit of money needed to get the quest cape. 69 smith costs a bit.

Achievement Capes' Respect
I hate that argument so much. It really is a very stupid argument. If someone has every 99 but cooking and fletching. You'd say "if it's so easy, why don't you have it?". That's just.. god there's not even a word.. This guy has 99 rc and you say he doesn't have the 2 week patience for 99 cooking? He doesn't want them because they are way too easy and not worth the time(although very low amount of time) to get them. Everyone CAN get one, not everyone needs an easy cape though. Some people prefer actually working for a cape and feeling a sense of achievement.

advice for black demons???
It's better to use a Zammy Prayer book instead of a rune defender though. Prayer is most important.

Achievement Capes' Respect
MY god, how many times do i have to say this? We think your cape isn't respectable because it is buyable and requires no attention Okay? It doesn't cost a lot of money, you have to pay no attention, and it has very high exp rates. THOSE are the reasons. That is what seperates it from something like firemaking. That takes a lot of attention.ATTENTION is the main thing here. Put your fish on the Rouges Den fire, watch Scrubs in another window, and click continue on the grats windows. That is all there is to cooking. with something like firemaking, smithing, prayer, and most other skills you have to constantly pay attention. Face it, if you didn't think that cooking or fletching wasn't an easy skill to 99 , you wouldn't have gone for it. There is also a difference between a skill that everyone trains, and a skill people want just want 99 in. Strength is the most widely accepted melee skill to train, and has benefits up to 99.That is why people train it. The ONLY reason people get 99 cooking is for the cape.

What skill could YOU live without?
Barrows was never exactly hard discounting the first day when everyone wasn't fully prepared, and the armor would have eventually gotten cheap just like anything else even without Con. The house portals alone are what make Con so useful to me. You obviously don't spend any amount of time on a non-Modern spellbook. You have to be really creative to get places effectively on alternate spellbooks and houses are a huge part of that. I am lunar 99% of the time for slayer. Don't make presumptious claims. Yes i use tabs a lot. But they could easily be made using the crafting skill if con was gone. As for barrows, nevertheless, they surely would be more than they are today.

Range along with prayer, magic, smithing, construction, crafting, and herblore are all buyable capes. Just, b/c they are more expensive does not mean they are not buyable. Range-Chinchompas Magic-Ancientz Prayer-D-bones and Poh...might be fastest skill to get to 99. Smithing-Gold ore How can you look down on fletching and cooking, while you highly upon these skills. They should all be under the same category. "Can be done in two weeks with enough money." Hunter is looked down upon too and you cant buy it. I can do that pretty easily. Range-Yes it may be buyable, but cost 3x more as cooking. Which means it takes 3x as long to get(i.e. making the money) and requires attention. I cannot stress that enough. That is the deciding factor in most capes. Magic-Once more, about 60m? 6x more than cooking and fletching? And you need attention Prayer-100m.10x more than either cooking or fletching. AT LEAST 10 times harder to get.And attention Smithing-You need money and attention for this. PLUS the low exp rate. I've never said anything about hunter. You see, you can get the money for cooking or fletching and never look at your screen again. All the above require constant clicking and a LOT more money.

Achievement Capes' Respect
Ah, i had forgotten the 85 cb req for a few quests. But i did agree with you in my post. The quest cape is respectable since you need to continue to work for it. Where as if you cook one shark after 99 cooking you go up 1000 ranks(exagerration but you get my point)

What skill could YOU live without?
@above Con isn't really needed. Teletabs could be made using magic or crafting. Free teles, do you really need them? it costs at most like 500gp for a tele anywhere using runes. House parties are not needed either. Plus, without con, there would be no houses and without that barrows would be harder. And if you ask me, barrows is way too cheap for the def it gives.

Achievement Capes' Respect
And any level 3 with a slayer cape deserves very little respect, because that is far too much no-lifeing with lamps. I would disagree as far as "Buyable" skills go, after all when they are buyable they do have a cost, and that cost is pretty high. Certainly more than I could afford atm. But certainly runecrafting is pretty high up my respect list, alomg with mining (esp combined with smithing) and Agility. That's another thing. Just because someone "no lifed" doesn't mean they shouldn't get respect. They had the time for it, and still trained the ever so slow way of lamps. They deserve respect too. And i wouldn't mind if they were buyable if they didn't have such high exp rates. But they are way to high for something you can just not pay any attention to for two weeks. Or maybe if the skill cost a bit more. Like prayer, it's buyable. But it cost 100m+ and you have to pay attention. That gains it a bit of respect. Unlike cooking or fletching which require no attention and only cost at most 10m.

Guthans v Bunyip
At a decent def level (80+) you won't need much food, but at a higher level(90+) you won't need any food except for the stray nechreal task.

Achievement Capes' Respect
Fletching and Cooking capes are worth nothing to me, sorry. They are just another skill you can pay for and not pay any attention, then in 2 weeks you have your 99.If that level 83 had level 70 slayer, that 83 would get more respect from me than anyone with just Fletching and Cooking Capes. Firemaking is iffy, it's not hard, but it is a bit harder than Fletching or Cooking. As it actually requires a lot of attention. I still respect someone with a Fm cape. Quest Cape, well i'm not sure about this one. For all we know they could've used a guide on every quest. Of course that works both ways. They could've not used guides at all. Nevertheless, the low skill requirements (I think it adds up to like 3m exp in all?) make it not so repspectful. But the fact that they have to continue working on their cape redeems it. Making the quest cape a pretty respectful cape. Woodcutting is one i have no say on. It has some qualities of cooking and fletching, but some of harder skill capes, like low exp rates for a decent profit. I'd put it around the middle of fm-quest cape level of respect. (Quest being more) Most respected would probably be Runecrafting. Can't be bought, must pay attention, low exp rates but a good moneymaker. edit: And no one better use the "why don't you have it if it's so easy" argument. If i wanted to, i'd get it in 2 weeks. But i prefer a harder achievment. Such as Range or Defense. I like spending months on a skill instead of having it under a month.

What skill could YOU live without?
There's another good thing about it too. There's cheap and decent ways to level it(tears, or even using golds to train) and theres an expensive and fast way to train.(Crimsons and Blues with a Spirit Kyatt at the Fishing Colony)
-
summoning shrine by piscatoris?
Just use the Spirit Kyatt and Duel Rings. Kyatt teleports you about 10 secs from the Summoning Altar and it's about 1m xp per hour with crimsons.

What skill could YOU live without?
I disagree with everyone saying summoning is useless. Really, that has almost completely changed the way people play. The macaw brings in more high level herbs than there was before summoning which equals cheaper Herbalore training. The bunyip and unicorn decreases the need for food dramatically. (From 90-98 defense i used only 100 monkfish, even with a fighter torso on) which equals to cheaper food. People using familiars at monsters which equal to faster kills and exp. I'm sure there's atleast a few people using a Ravenous Locust or Forge Regent at bounter hunter. it's made items that were useless now 3m+.(Zammy Spear) good for Solo GWDers. Probably the biggest one is the Spirit Terrorbird and beast of burdens. A LOT more inventory space and unlimited run energy? Changed Prayer,Runcrafting,Mining,Woodcutting,Fishing, and even con if you make your own planks. Not to mention that it helps Solo trips at gwd more than anything. Summoning touches more skills than any other skill in the game. Anyone saying Summoning is useless either doesn't have the money to train it, or hasn't seen what the skill can do.

Your thoughts on the new Tif.
You can change the background color at the top. The iron one goes well with the new default. :D I really really love this new default theme.Perfect :)

What skill could YOU live without?
Yes, please tell me who actually BUYS these, so I can kill myself to get 83 Hunter for a not-so-guranteed sale. Well seeing as the price went down 4% in the last week and up like 14% in the last 30 days, it must be selling :P . Unsellable items dont change in price Actually i know a few people that buy these. I stand corrected. D imps are good for money.

I need a good shield
You're best option imo. But obby shield is good too. And imo better than a dragon shield. I can't stand a shield without atleast some offense bonuses. But still, dragonfire owns all 8-)
-
What skill could YOU live without?
Or u can make 1mil per hour catching d imps... That's completely random. Dragon arrowheads aren't exactly common, and Dragon Darts aren't worth a lot anyways. Dragon Implings, that's leaving it to the Higher Ups and your hidden "Luck skill". While chinchompas are viturely guranteed money... So it's either risk your luck with d imps or 300-400k an hour with the added hassle of the thousands of others that want chins. Not worth it imo.
-
What skill could YOU live without?
300-400k an hour isn't "very" good money. There's much better ways of money. Not to mention the limited number of chin spots.

What skill could YOU live without?
That and HP. What noob trains hp?

What skill could YOU live without?
I like fm :o Well the cape. I was going to say hunter, as i have 10 and i hate the skill so much.. but without hunter there would be no chins. :? And that means i'd prolly still be 90 range
