LOL This is exactly the reason why I'm quitting. On male characters our chests are so forward it looks like we have melons upstairs if you know what I mean. And Jagex misleaded us-By Low Detail I thought they meant the good old one like you said?- and what do we get? A diluted version of the new HD? WTF is that? And to tie in with your last point-Our heads are disproportioned to the rest of our bodies-it's just ridiculous. It is a beta update, but I don't think the complete version will do any better than this. I want the old detail, but Jagex misleaded us and now we're stuck with this. That's why I'm quitting. Read the bolded parts. Jagex didn't mislead you, you decided to go with your own assumption and just think that the old graphics would stay. The never said it would all be exactly the same. And even if they did (which they didn't), these graphics update(note the "up" part) are more loved than hated.For every one of you bitter people willing to quit because of graphics, there are 20 more people that love the update. And even MORE people that came back to the game because of new graphics.

Your computer must not be very good. It's not Jagex's fault. The reqs are extremely low. I can run the max detail on full screen at the GE and have no lag at all. And the computer isn't even that good. It's not Jagex's fault.

Insanely small thing but, when you do the Def Cape emote, the first few arrows that fly toward you don't appear.

Like: Everything basically :thumbsup: I can run the max details, full screen on the biggest size, at the GE and have no lag whatsoever. :P The only thing i dislike is the Red Plume on every helm. Ruined my Zammy Crest Helm, oh well. Nothing big.

System update and i wasn't lagging at all >.

all i know is that some computers can handle this really well. I don't even lag on the highest resalution with all the details maxed, full screen, and at the GE. P.S. Probably gonna be less active on tif thanks to full screen :thumbsup:

got it to work and it looks [bleep]ing amazing and no lag for me either. :o :shock: :shock:

Update for me,Standard detail loads in 5 seconds while i've been trying to load high detail for half and hour with more than the system reqs needed. :evil:

Looks godly :o :thumbsup: too bad i've been trying to load it for almost 20 minutes now -.- They better fix this lag soon or I'm gonna go play Adventure Quest.

Biggest letdown in RS history to expect this today and see website maintence instead :wall: :wall: :wall: Oh well,i'll check back after swimming. Really hoping for atleast BTS today.

27m has been in my bank for weeks, just taunting me to buy something. It got very very annoying to have that money and not have anything to buy :x So i visited the help and advice forum and among all the suggestions was Bandos. I was pretty amazed with it, decent def and a good str bonus. And it looked great. So i splurged a bit and bought some stuff =D Guthan Helm and Bandos body and A Robin Hood Hat Something for each of my capes \ and now i have a decent 7m left. It's nice to have a bit, but not too much cash in the bank. :mrgreen:

Take it from a 99 ranger, neither are good. Crystal is outdated and Dark is overrated. Stick with Rune Crossbow and Mith bolts for a good mix of cost and exp. Or you could use a Bone Crossbow for decent exp but for a very cheap cost. Always use an Unholy(Zamorak) book with crossbows as well.

Pretty sure it's a leak to future agility course.

Meh i won't go for it then. The cape is the reason i would want 99 craft. Hm, maybe bandos. although maybe not the tassets. I mean, 10m for +2 str isn't very good to me.

The ss is better str training than the bgs from what i've heard. Would like more input on this though.Plus i never boss hunt. If i melee, it's slayer. Guthans isn't needed since my bunyip keeps me fully healed on all tasks. Don't need dfs, using a Sara Sword. I was thinking about bandos, how's the defense on that? Would a bunyip heal me through all tasks? 80 con is something i'll think about.. Already working till high sum. =) Prayer is kind of iffy, i don't need higher than 70 since i don't boss hunt but i can see how it'd be useful. 99 crafting costs 27m? =O show me how and i'll do it. Forgot to mention, no mage either please. Hate that skill. :-# And no cheap/easy 99s please. :shame: @zaaps, but what skill could be somewhat beneficial?

Well i currently have about 27m(36m if i sell my Saradomin Sword) to mess with. I honestly have no idea what to use it on =/. Keep in mind i'm training strength so SS isn't going unless there's something better. Willing to spend it on skills or whatever item i can buy, just no Farming or Rares please.

Skill capes changed everything, people want to be in "99 club" for one reason or another. Although it's questionable why people want to be in the "99 cooking" club.. honestly getting the dye for an orange cape is more of an achievement.

According to you, "fanatics" are actually intelligent people than can completely destroy every half assed argument you can make. "Fanatics" are here to take you down a notch. We do it quite well, and people like you make it very easy.

Amen to that. I had Guild wars when i was starting to get bored of RS and i played that game for 5 days before it got boring. The pvp is fun though. I'm sooooo happy that G4 is going to cover E3 now :thumbsup: I have to see this. Hope they do a little segment on it. Off topic: Whenever 3 hit u posts, everyone hits the flame button. Why is that? :?
