  1. You'll use a lot of brews overtime if you GWD or clan Pvp a lot. Of course money wasn't the issue for me but if it is for you then sell them. I still suggest keeping them however they will become useful in the future.
  2. Chinning nechs is worse than chinning mummies. It's uneffecient and the money/charms you make will be negated by the extra cost it takes to chin the same XP if you would have done skeletons. Basically it'as unefficient and meleeing them is fun :P
  3. I'd crush and save them. I saved mine up and after I got 81 herblore I was glad I did. Farmed my own toadflax and the nests were free so I can make free brews whenever I GWD. If your going to farm make sure you plant marigolds.
  4. This is the internet. There is no limit to how stupid people can be. I find it hard to believe people would choose Runescape as the target of a DDOS attack for nothing more than [cabbage] and giggles. But given some of the circumstances of these recent server issues, it shoudn't be ruled out. Maybe some Pker got upset over the recent PvP changes or something and decided this would be a funny way to get back at Jagex. Regardless of their motives, if this is indeed a DDOS attack then I truly hope that they are punished for it. However, since these attacks are notoriously difficult to trace and prosecute, I doubt it will happen. In the end, all we can really do is wait for this to blow over. So basically half of the Runescape worlds are in the hands of mad/bored teenagers? Well thats the internet for you :? -.-
  5. When you get a bunch of teenage boys together they get a feeling of immunity so yes they would. Not to mention doing this hurts Jagex finacially although they are seeking compensation from their ISP.
  6. A guy got beat up with a 3rd age ammy and one of the treasure trail masks. It's very old news :|
  7. I wasn't ranging waterfiends :| I need the magic defence because I no pray them with SGS+uni. Found it, your friend has logged out, but still he is talking to you :o You got it  It's been happening a lot to be lately and the only way I can fix it is by logging in/out.
  8. I guess there is two things wrong with that picture and the scroll bar is one of them but there is one more. Also yes my slayer task was waterfiends ;) The text is below because the Private tab is clicked.
  9. Spot whats wrong with this picture and you get a cookie. Tell me what slayer task I just finished and you get two cookies
  10. Very interesting, it seems like we'll be seeing day and night time sometime and the dragon is interesting. Adamant dragon that drops the Dragon pickaxe please.
  11. They are moving their back-end servers which don't have anything to do with their internet connection or their ISP. Jagex already said one of their ISP's in the US were experiencing difficulties because of their routers being overloaded. A DDOS attack is possible and shouldn't be ruled out.
  12. Air battlestaves Buy from Zaff daily and have an offer in the GE for battlestaves 100 every 4/hr is the buy limit.
  13. Errm, when the problem is resolved? I guess my question is: when do you think it would be resolved... as in, is this a day or even week fix... They'll most likely get bored after a day or two. Also remember, this is only happening to a US server so all none US worlds should be ok unless this becomes more serious.
  14. They'd have to rollback the servers from before this started which was around 18 hours ago. Thats a lot of XP lost for people and most people weren't effected by any monetary lose. I can't remember a time Jagex did a rollback on purpose, I do however remember atleast 3 rollbacks due to technical problems.
  15. Better stay off my w166 too was going to go solo some TDS but not worth the risk now, it's not the TDS I fear. Basically a friends sat in the chat listening in, he says one or two guys (he thinks) are doing it and IRC Admins keep closing the channel down for heavy traffic alot of users in those channels, just spamming !World (then the number) just to see if what they are doing is real, It could be a total and utter coincidence though. They could just know the ISP that is having problems and the worlds connected to that ISP. Either way it's a bad deal and if they are being DDOS's I'd like to see then prosecuted to the full extent of the law considering Jagex is asking for compensation from the ISP right now.
  16. They better stay off w44 or I'll come over there and slap them with a trout.
  17. It is highly unlikely, but what's causing these mass server outages? I know theres something wrong with the ISP, but couldnt this make them more sensitive than usual? I'm not tech minded, posted this more for discussion value, I was in an IRC channel and moments later the server did crash, could be a total coincidence. Then again its human nature of fall for hoaxes, such as alien conspiracys if people see a creature they cant explain and shout alien people would probably buy into it. It's the same with the crashing of items because of an update as we saw days ago, JaGex themselves can't do anything about this and I bet its a high priority to get the techical issues fixed within the next few working days. That was a post made my Forum mod so it means close to nothing. Of course if the ISP was being DDOS'd I doubt they would tell Jagex that they are that unsecure which could lead in them being dropped as a provider for Jagex. We'll just have to wait and see.
  18. It's not that hard to look up. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denial-of-service_attack I know what it is. I never said you didn't, but was just pointing out that you can type DDOS into a search engine and find out what it is easily.

  20. Because they want to laugh at Jagex. It's probably some angry Runescapers just like the guy who threw a brick at Jagex towers when they removed the wild.
  21. Get both range and melee helms they will be very useful in the future.
  22. That would be a great solution.
  23. It entirely depends on what partyhat you want. First you should try and get one via the GE which will be tough but it's doable. If not expect to pay atleast 30M over mid price and you'll have to get very lucky to buy one with junk unless it's a bad crashing item like AGS and claws were.
  24. Agility brawlers are still practically unuseable. I tried to use mine last night and had 3 welfares and one ancient try for me in the course of an hour. Seems like all they did was give into the whiners. I agreed with their update to make Pvp more risky and if you wanted to win then you'd risk something like your whip. They still havn't done anything about bolters or trickers which is what they sought to destroy.
  25. I know someone who used fake to be a girl, become someones GF in game, and then farm items off of them. So I guess that plays a roll in it but mainly it's because they think no girl is supposed to play video games. O btw gratz on being on Jagex's Twitter update :
