Ouchy S, it is legal, and is not ripping. Everything from that sig came from PR, a site where it promoted that they are free for use.

All look very rushed, and what I call 'filter tags'. You need to do more than just find a bg, find a few renders & add text. Check out tutorials on http://www.deviantart.com. Just search "signature tutorial".

Get GIMP or PS. Both much better than PDN. Though, I do have to say the Gorillaz sig is quite good for a PDN sig.

The Gorillaz one has potential, though the scanlines completely kill it. The second one isn't very good IMO, boring backgroud colour, weird render and bad font. Could I ask what program you are using?

Looks like really good linework to me, just fix up hi right arm.

The one on the left looks better IMO.
