  1. You get 350% xp if you bank it. You could also sell 5 bones and altar 2. You'd get same xp as burying, except you also get money from selling the bones :geek: Listen to this guy. I find it funny how you find it too big of a hassle to bank expensive 2k dragon bones, yet you bank those worthless 500gp big bones. because the bank in warriors guild is 2 seconds away? And green dragons are like 10 seconds away if you use a glory or house tele + mounted glory. Seriously, keep the bones and hides. If you don't want to train prayer now, sell the bones, but I highly suggest you keep them. You will have to train prayer to 70, and you will be kicking yourself for burying those bones.
  2. Note I have edited the quote above and replied to what you said in bold. And they don't make that much money with the ads, less than £3.50 per player per month I bet. I'm not one of those F2P deserve nothing people, but it is true that if you don't pay, you can't expect frequent updates.
  3. I've had a few JPG submissions which I have used, although yes, it would look much better as a PNG.
  4. Are you fighting them on P2P or F2P? One revenant takes a whole five-man team to kill it on F2P. :wall: ~D. V. "Well?" Devnull Yea, F2P revenants are just stupid.
  5. No. Really, no. Levels capped at 30? No free chat? No clan chat? No PvP? No full HD? The thing that makes F2P great is that while it is really a demo, it is still a full game of its own. Doing this would take away that. Also, members, 250 cb? 150 max level in skills? How do you think Jagex will implement this? How does an increased combat level benefit anyone? I don't want people with 30 attack being 110 combat, and people with relatively low stats not having monsters auto attack. Lastly, $20 a month, $240 a year? Wtf are you thinking? To make this easier for me, in GBP that would be £150.32. £150?! The reason people play RS is that it is cheap as chips (although chips are quite expensive nowadays :wall:), it's £32/£35 a year now, which is the average price of a typical Xbox/PS game. That's pretty good for a year. With £150, I could buy a top of the range phone or a brand new TV or a new camera, and not spend it on a stupid game. Jagex have over 1,000,000 members. If everyone pays the old rate of £3.20 a month, that's £3.2m a year. Sure, you will have to pay tax, server costs, employees wages etc, but that is still a very tidy amount of money to make.
  6. Seriously, compared to the old pkers, Revenants are as powerful as imps (except the dragon ones, they scare me :P)
  7. You can start it, but be aware that it will get very boring sometimes, and seem pointless when you can get constant xp elsewhere at that level. Slayer begins to get good at 60+, but before then you will just have to train, and have fun. I would wait until you have at least 60+ in all combat stats in order to slay pretty effectively.
  8. Probably, as the actual broom is F2P, and you can usually talk to NPCs about members quests in F2P (Wise Old Man for example).
  9. Wow, relax. If Jagex want to do a little thanksgiving event, that's absolutely fine. I've heard of thanksgiving, but have never celebrated it and am that not familiar with it. It's just a little fun event, nothing big. Looks like a great month, the mini-game doesn't seem to appeal to me though, I hope I get proved wrong.
  10. Is there an official one? If there is, I've never used it. Tipitchat was closed ages ago lol  Nope, there isn't anymore. It's just to say that you can't ask for help or anything here as it's unofficial.
  11. I agree, the community has changed, but isn't that was PvP has always been like? Most of the people in F2P pking stood by the ditch, got attacked, fought for a while then hopped merrily back over. Same in members, did you see hundreds of people fighting in the members only part of the wildy? Nope, only people who either stood by the mage bank teleport, or just killed wildy agility pkers, because they were too scared to kill anything that could prove a fight for them. Sure, you had some brilliant Pkers, and some brilliant wars, but most of the PvP community were the type of people who called people "pray nubs", ran away after battle, or stayed at -20 wildy. PvP can and is brilliant, while it will never compare to the old wildy, it is better in some ways, and worse in others. It's the attitude of the Pkers that makes Pking either brilliant or terrible, not the conditions (although it does, of course, have some effect).
  12. It's not an official clan chat though, simply run by members of Tip.It. It's 100% unofficial.
  13. Awesome, I'll get 52 summoning asap :D Also, as I've never uses summoning properly before, say I'm somewhere which doesn't have a summon oblisk nearby, do I just take summoning pots to top it up?
  14. Hey, Simple question, is it worth training my summoning to 52 to use a spirit terrorbird? If so, I know it's a BoB and the scrolls restore energy which is useful for training in general, but is it also useful for general slaying, or should I wait till a higher familiar is available (e.g. bunnyip)? Thanks
  15. Yes, it works fine. I can last a very long time before running out of pots.
  16. Hey, I've been tanking Aviansies lately, and while they have made me quite a bit of money, they are getting a bit boring. Are there any alternative methods of making a decent amount of money? Stats in sig.
