minning question
If you only need that one level, use penguin points to get close to the level then mine coal at the coal trucks if you want to make money, or powermine iron in the mine between yanille and port khazard if you don't.

Genesis and The Big Bang
Pretty much, sums up most of my point. I find it very funny how people are so eager to believe that they are an evolved for of a hairy bush monkey that picks his nose and eats lice all day long. Sure, if you want to be a monkey go right ahead. My logic tells me to think otherwise. But then again what is my logic worth. I'm just a brainwashed Christian boy belonging to the sacm that is religion and God. Clearly we were all fromed by some chemical fart. Feels good to know i am a monkey that exists as a result from a gassy universe. You aren't a monkey, you're a human. We're two different species that are related. We both descended from a common ancestor millions of years ago, and have evolved into two separate (though similar) species. And if my options are to believe that, or decide that even though there are mountains of evidence supporting evolution, and mountains of evidence supporting the big bang, to believe that the universe was just made the way it is now thousands of years ago, that all animals, plants, and everything else hasn't changed since we were just placed here by a god, I'm inclined to believe in evolution and the big bang. EDIT: [hide=quote chain] It has also been scientifically proven that men should mate with woman yet somehow people still go gay :o Sience has been wrong once too may times for me to have any faith in it. EDIT: Sorry that was a bit troll-ish. Too tired to come up with a valid arguement. Well, the Bible says that homosexuality is wrong too, but people still do it. Does this mean we should completely discount the Bible? The "god gene" is just a mutation on the VMAT2 that predisposes a person to belief in the supernatural, or belief in a god/gods. No it means you should see any Homosexual as a sinner. Clearly they do not follow the word of God and therefor they are sinners. [/hide] I see. In that case, I retract my previous statements. Mind telling me where it says that in the bible btw? I know it's in there but I've never been able to find it.

Genesis and The Big Bang
If you're going to continually reference this proof, it would be a good idea to post some of it instead of telling us to go watch the discovery channel. To answer an earlier question, no I do not believe in spirits. If you think we're just spewing [cabbage] and making it all up, please call us out on it. The difference between reasons for evolution and reasons for belief in God is that the evidence for evolution is grounded in scientifically proven fact, while belief in God is based on an old book and your emotions.

5 day weekend ftw?
Days off school are great  Wednesday was a holiday, during which I got 76 mining. Because of srs rain and flooding :ohnoes: schools cancelled today, so I got to stay home  and had nothing better to do than play runescape because I don't have MW2. So I got 77 mining, and now I'm at concentrated coal. Then, I got news that school would be closed TOMORROW too! And since I probably still won't have MW2 then, that means more runescape  I actually just ordered MW2 a couple minutes ago, so I'm hoping it will get here on Monday because there's no mail on Sundays.

"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
...You played WOW with her for 5 hours and forgot her name??? Just go up to her at school, say hey, and ask for her phone number or something. Ask her if she wants to hang out again sometime. I'm not quite sure how the chat feature works in WOW, but you could probably contact her using that too.

Poetry memorization
Don't you just love memorizing poems for school? I have to memorize The Road not Taken by Robert Frost by tomorrow. So instead of just reading it over and over, I found an audio recording of it, put it on my itunes, and I have the poem on repeat  Getting homework done while mining ftw? As of writing this, I'm about 100k xp from 75. I'll probably get 75 tomorrow, 76 Wednesday (no school  ) and 77 Thursday or Friday. Then, I'll be off to the ancient caverns for some concentrated coal action.

What I've been up to recently
I've been mining, mining, mining! I started at 70 mining, and I've worked my way up to 74 so far :) I'm powermining iron in the mine year yanille. My plan is to get to 77, then go to concentrated coal for 77-80, then mine concentrated gold 80-99! At least, that's what I'll do if I decide to get 99...

Genesis and The Big Bang
You see, you typify most evolutionists. They claim that "no scientists disagree with evolution" when in fact numerous do. Honestly, the majority also thought the earth was flat, and had "evidence" to prove it. Many people don't believe in global warming either. As well, no missing link has ever been found. The argument mentioned earlier that very few early human remains have been found, and that is why no missing links have been found, actually proves my point. If the earth was created around 6,000 years ago, then the oldest fossils would obviously be around 6,000 years old. The church thought the earth was flat too. Everyone did until research was done to prove that this was false, then slowly people accepted that it was round. The same reasoning applies here. At first everyone thought a God (or gods) created everything. Now research is being done to see how the earth was formed, and how life originated. Slowly, people are going to accept that the science is correct, just as they did when proving the earth is not flat. And the earth was created billions of years ago, not 6,000. There is plenty of proof. And if you want to pull that card, then where did God come from? Did he make himself, just as the cake did? Evolution has been proved, we have proved it to you, you are just too close minded to listen to our arguments. And Darwin never worked in the church and we have proof of that, so it is far less valid. Yes, and almost all of those "proofs" against the big bang have been proved impossible.

Genesis and The Big Bang
1. First bolded statement, is horrible. There is not enough evidence to combat religion at ALL. There is tons of evidence that combats the literal meanings of the bible, however if you were intelligent you would know it is THE MOST researched book on the entire planet that to this day has not had it's symbolic meanings entirely deciphered. I can guarantee you on the subject matter I am more educated that you. I have spent tons of my time researching this topic and taking arguements from both sides, and in the end I still strongly believe there is a God. I study Marine Science and have undergone countless lectures on evolution, astrology etc. In my spare time I study astrology and the origins of the universe, and I'm here to tell you they do not counter religion, many of the points support it. The reason it's symbolic meanings cannot be disproved is because no one even knows what all of them are. I myself have heard at least 5 interpretations of the passage about how it's easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than it is for a rich man to go to heaven. I've heard many interpretations of the story about the 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish. You said it yourself, no one even knows the full symbolic meaning of the book. How can the unknown be disproved?

Genesis and The Big Bang
This is the problem, every time a transition fossil is found, creationists just say there's another hole. We have Australopithecus afarensis (Lucy), Homo habilis, Homo erectus, Neandrathals, and Cro-Magnons. And all kinds of monkeys. There are your in-between fossils.

Genesis and The Big Bang
Actually, according to the big bang big crunch theory, it is very feasible that these events are repeatable. I will admit, people will think you are an idiot if you said that. But people would also call you an idiot if you said God just decided to put a 747 in the middle of a junkyard too. People believe that because evolution has a very large amount of supporting facts behind it. You're right, an organism evolving over millions of years is science. And doesn't a frog turning into a prince seem much more like a bible story than something out of a science textbook? There is loads of feasible proof for evolution, just think about what Darwin said for about a minute. Natural selection is the process by which heritable traits that make it more likely for an organism to survive and successfully reproduce become more common in a population over successive generations. This makes perfect sense, for example, lets take a species of insects. These insects can be white, or black. They live in an environment where the majority of their surroundings are black. And we have a species of bats that prey on these insects. Which insects will survive longer, the ones that look like white specs on a black background, or the ones that blend in? And the ones that survive longer will have more chances to reproduce, and therefore it will be more likely that the gene for a black exoskeleton will be passed on. Eventually almost all of these insects will be black. The same mechanism can be applied for every gene, and as time goes on life will evolve and change. Another piece of evidence for evolution is that the genetic coding mechanism for human DNA is the same as the genetic coding mechanism for plant DNA, or fungal DNA. There is far, far more evidence for evolution than there is for the Bible. In fact, I would like for you to present some evidence supporting the Bible, as I have not seen much. I have never heard this, or read this in the bible before. I'm going to assume this is you making up an explanation that God didn't give you. I guess it makes a little sense, the problem is the light of some stars have only been seen by us rather recently, so I guess God only made the light from some of the stars.

Genesis and The Big Bang
If I'm right, it dies. If you're right, it goes to either heaven or hell. If the Hindu are right, it is reborn. If there is a purpose, it is to reproduce and to advance our species. Or to glorify God. EDIT: Wow, I've never heard of the faith gene thing. Seems very interesting though, thanks for making me learn something today Zamorakshadow  Link for anyone who wants to read a bit about the gene

Well it would really help if we knew how much you talked to her, what she likes to do, and why you think she likes you, and what IOI's she's given you. As for something to do, don't go on the stereotypical trip to the movies, then something to eat, then dropping her off at home. Do something interesting. Take her to an ice cream tasting convention, or an opera. If she likes skateboarding, do something related to that. If she's a gamer, take a trip to one of those gamercon things. Do something that would be interesting to her and to you. Hmmm.... I talk to her a bit. We're not good friends or anything, but we chat every day or so. IOIs... well, when we talk, she'll hold eye contact for a couple seconds, then kind of shy away and look towards a wall, or something like that. The she'll go back and hold for a sec.... you know what i mean. Wow, Ice cream convention? Opera? We're in a small town up in canada. The biggest thing we have is the movies. Other from that, theres basically nothing. Thats why im asking, cause nothing is hard to use for a date. Oh. Well I'm not an expert on the IOI stuff like lent and dan, so I'll let someone else interpret that part. But for the date, there's always stuff to do. Look in your newspaper, there's sure to be something going on. If all else fails, you could go to the movies.

Genesis and The Big Bang
The question's been asked, but no one has answered. This is actually something that interests me, I would have asked my priest today but I'm a little too sick for church (yes, I do go to church even though I'm not a creationist)

Genesis and The Big Bang
I'm not one of the religious people, but studies have been done that show some animals are self aware, or have literal consciousness of themselves. I don't know if this equates to having a soul, but it means the animals have a consciousness and are aware of themselves. I'll prove the big bang scientifically when you prove the existence of a god scientifically. As has been said, science and religion cannot be linked, because "god did it" will be the answer to anything we can't explain. We used to think it was god who kept the sun rising and falling, now we know it is because of earths rotation on its axis. We used to think that god just made all the animals and humans, now we know about evolution.

Genesis and The Big Bang
I believe in the big bang theory. The reason I don't believe in any form of creationism is that there are simply too many religions that exist and have existed to prove that one is right. The only reason most of the world is christian is because Theodosius made nicean christianity the official religion of the Romans. If history did not happen the way it did, most people could be polytheists like the Egyptians, Vikings, or Etruscans. Or we could be Buddhist, Taoist, Hindu, Sihk, or any number of religions. To reply to billybob: The dead plant is dead because biological processes required for life, such as photosynthesis and respiration, are not occurring. This could be because proteins that make up the plant were denatured, faults in genetics of the plant have caused certain processes to not occur the way they should, or any number of other things. And decomposed mass and energy is different from a dead plant, the plant is still made up of large, complex molecules, while the decomposed mass is in a very simple form. The big bang theory has scientific evidence behind it, while most religions, including Christianity, are attempted explanations of why things are the way they are. I haven't seen any science that proves that there is a god, or any other higher power.

"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
Would it be sad to say I went to this persons blog? I honestly laughed at the part where they said their goal for the year was 20 boyfriends at once and their life goal was 100 at once. There's a word for people like that... Back on topic now. Deiophobus, there really isn't much you can do but be just friends with her, or ask her out and hope for the best. Whatever you decide to do, best of luck
