  1. I might have thought so if not for how I'm used to cracking them and how that has a very different sound, this one was more like when the fibres start splitting. And I don't really get a chance to talk to my parents for the next nine hours, seeing as they're asleep up until I leave for school. And the weird feeling was sort of like blunt internal pain, but not strong enough to hurt.
  2. As I lowered my arm, my armpit made a sound similar to a piece of wood slowly snapping, and now my arm feels strange... The [bleep] just happened?
  3. It's pretty much anything that goes with setting up a show, presentation, or video. Though what it has been to us has been mostly doing whatever we want as long as it's related to electronics, computers, video or music and then making a presentation of/about it. I made a video streaming website. a few guys in my class have been playing music, one guy fixed a speaker and two other guys learned Java.
  4. Still Electronics and Computing; so Electronics, "Light, Sound and Picture" (I have no idea how that's supposed to be translated if not directly), Electronic Infrastructure, English, Norwegian, PE and Political Science.
  5. They may have figured that, hey, it's Norway, just bury it in the ground! It works with the lutefisk! No, that's the gravlaks. The lutefisk in prepared in soap.
  6. Well [bleep], I just forgot to sleep. If you need me I'll just be lying curled up on the couch for the next 75 minutes.
  7. Yes they do, that's why we have a crisis. Sure, 2011 was a poor year for diary products, so the output was lower than usual, but normally that wouldn't have mattered. And thank's to Tine's semi-monopoly, there are less small-scale farmers to rely on to keep the supply as high as usual, still not a problem. Then comes the low-carb fad, this caused the stores to be visibly lower in stock, but still nowhere near a problem. And then people start to panic, buying tonnes of butter because they think the stores are going to run out, thus causing the stores to run out. We know butter lasts, but that doesn't help when half the population has the foresight of cattle.
  8. I think Lei and Iey are semi-active as well, and I've seen Pieis on quite a lot and Wyvren has recently changed his nick. EDIT: In fact Wyvren just logged out of Runescape a few minutes ago.
  9. For the record, the Falador Tavern Runescape clan is still a thing.
  10. I know, right. A butter shortage caused by low-carb dieters and panicking hoarders all blown out of proportion by the media.
  11. I don't care how I met that version of myself, the key point is the fight. I mean I'm hella narcissistic when it comes to that sense of the word, so one'd expect me to make out with myself or something like that. But no, I'd fight myself until I was knocked out or broke my hand. But then again I don't make sense, when I sprained my hand by punching my wall out of anger, I only felt proud. Or perhaps I'm just that violent/angry a person. Anyways, just enjoying my website, I'd post a link but there's not a single video on there that isn't copyrighted. Also the domain name has a suffix that Tip.It relates to fraudulence.
  12. If ever met a future or past version of myself that was roughly the same age as me, I would fight him for the lulz. Is this [bleep]ed up?
  13. For these restrictions, I proclaim: Yay. (As in yay or nay, not the exclaimation.)
  14. Not excess mentioning of personal life, because that's what 90% of it consists of. No excess FML posts however would be a good rule.
  15. My most notable gifts were a phone, an electric razor and two toaster irons. I know I'm getting old when I think those are some awesome gifts.
  16. Merry Christmas!
  17. My thoughts: YES!!! Do want!
  18. Yeah, I just put it together using a fancy font in Pain.NET in a few minutes. And I don't think I can change the Admin color.Fixed. If you have anything further to comment on when it comes to the design, please put it in the Feedback subforum I just created. Also if you don't mind, I'll just swipe your suggestion there and remove the gray.
  19. Or you know we can play games that don't necessarily take place on the forum or via IRC or Maptools. New forum's up and running btw, http://faladortavern.forumotion.org/ for those who want to give it a try.
  20. If you haven't noticed, there are three games running, two of which haven't updated in at least half a week, we used to have close to 5 full sessions per week as well as one or more Hegemonies. The Back Room being killed contributed to that, as it gave us a way to converse and help eachother with problems that would otherwise have prevented a session, it also produced a steady supply of posts, meaning that we had a reason to check up on the Tavern more frequently and thus remain fully active. And the forum rules are strict, in fact they are unnecessarily so even for a site that's supposed to be suitable for 13-year-olds. And no, while linking to pirated content is usually against forum rules, it does not break any actual laws, what is illegal is actively distributing the material, as ThePiratebay have so frequently reminded those companies bold enough to file a lawsuit. There's also the censors, which remove half the sense of personality in some posts, they're even sensitive enough to trigger at a slight typo, such as [garden tool][bleep]er (hot water without the space).
  21. I have to agree with this. This has to be the first time I've checked this forum in over a week, and I only did it because I noticed Earth's post when I was scrolling to T&C. At least with the back room people had a reason to come here daily. While the Back Room may have been the reason for the Tavern's "activity", this really isn't an off-topic forum, as that was the majority of the activity. It is a serious games/roleplaying forum. Yes, there isn't any real activity aside from the pathfinder game, but this is only temporary, hopefully. I personally don't see why we should allow the Back Room back for the sake of activity if that activity is going to be more negative posting. It'll do more harm than good. Even if the Tavern slows down for a while, there will always be someone to come in and spark up an idea or two. tl;dr, We don't need activity for the sake of activity if it's going to be negative activity. Well the Back Room didn't just cause its own activity, it also helped keep the actual games alive, and short of the fights that broke out over the misunderstanding of my stories and its use as a blog by Lei, the activity there can't really be described as negative. I think I'll take the effort to set up a new forum for us if there are enough people who want the community to stay and are just discouraged from posting by how we have lost a lot of activity through the loss of our off-topic thread. Also that way we can set up matches and events for games that aren't on the forum without angering the mods and admin with posts that are off from the subforum topic or against these strict forum rules we have here.
  22. See this is why we needed the Back Room, because without it not only is the place a lot less active, but also because it keeps the games alive longer for some reason.
  23. Håkon follows the cave at a fast but restrained pace, making sure not to trip over the so-called Doctor.
  24. Håkon attempts to walk on top of the slimes to kill them.
  25. Håkon starts kicking the slimes.
