  1. The point of contention here is that you're misinterpreting what Jagex defined: Stuff that moves to a specific point is only illegal if it also clicks in the same motion. If you have to hit the "hotkey" twice-- once to move the mouse and again to click-- it's within the rules.
  2. Wait what happened to Tui's binds?
  3. I think a big part of this disagreement is that some of the TIF mods seem to believe that ANYTHING related to AHK is against the rules, when that is simply not true.
  4. There are still several scripts which are against RuneScape rules. According to whom? As long as they fit the 1:1 criteria, they are legal.
  5. You should have re-geared and maybe even tried to get friends and then owned his ass.
  6. I believe the original got taken down because Youtube is so butthurt over copyright crap, but someone else was kind enough to re-host it.
  7. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N5iUUnfALV0 Classic video.
  8. One of the mods, not naming any names, ordered everyone to remove the Efficienado's links from their signatures because one thread on those forums discussed various AutoHotKeys scripts, which in the manner they are being used by the people on that forum are perfectly within the game's rules of one-input-one-output. He still maintained that they were illegal and that the mods on our forum endorsed macroing, and threatened to remove signature privileges unless we complied.
  9. Eh, I see it as completely irrelevant for the staff to have to physically play the game to keep things under control on a forum. Do you forget that you're actually expected to be mature? You shouldn't have to be policed - but it's something anyone can do; whether or not they play a game related to it isn't necessarily. They don't need to know what the f*** they're on about...And people shouldn't be trolling, no matter how it's put. Don't spew that nonsense that Moderators are misconstruing information/opinions to be trolling, that's a childish excuse. Who says their input isn't valid? You? LOL! Who let the comedian out of the bag? I'm happy with the staff we have currently, mind you. They are a great team of people and a pleasure to work with. They should step down? Or some of the mouthy users should step back? Ah, I think the latter. Along with many, many others. Certain kids are ruining this community, which was once a great place. They know who they are. Not naming any names, though. Enough of the school-yard [cabbage] from most people...They need to grow up or get out. Oh and in before the broken-record "You're a rank and suck up to people", DERP we've heard that story before, too, Mr. Green. When mods take it upon themselves to go spy in a forum where they are clearly not welcome and then punish people in THEIR OWN forum for stuff that gets said in that OTHER forum, that is clearly crossing a line. It's especially bad because, in this particular instance, the mod in question twisted the facts to suit himself.
  10. But den i cont hord as much fewd mang No, really I agree with you.
  11. Cheating produces a short-lived fun, though. Yeah, it's awesome being "the best" but it quickly becomes boring because there is no challenge left. I've heard from many people with billions/maxed accounts that the game isn't really fun on that character anymore, which leads them to start new characters. You use cheats in a console RPG to get max level or whatever, and at first it's like "YEEEAH I AM SO POWERFUL LOL" but it quickly becomes "Damn, this game is boring, I kill everything in two hits and have nothing left to shoot for." The ease at which you reach max level in Fallout 3 (and similarly NV) is one of the major downsides to the game, because at least to me the game loses a lot of its fun factor when you aren't able to level up anymore. It just becomes a sandbox FPS, and at level 20 (and especially 30 with DLC) nothing can come close to killing you.
  12. PKers comprise a much smaller portion of RS than most people realize. The majority of the people who voted "Yes" were most likely voting in favor of the Free Trade and were indifferent to the Wilderness update. There was also likely a bunch of RWT sites having their minions vote "Yes" too.
  13. You also have to think about the other implications of ruining frost dragons for campers- 1) They are one of the best moneymakers in the game, and if they are made uncampable, that will just mean more people at other crowded areas like GWD and TDs. 2) It would mean more bots at other areas, since the FD bots would move somewhere else.
  14. I think it is amusing how often the words "kid" and "son" are thrown around in this game, when the vast majority of people playing it fit the bill as "kids" themselves. Until you can legally drink alcohol, you're still a kid.
  15. Is that to make frost bones more rare or to stop botters? because plenty of players with 138 cb and 99 dungeoneering bot. Kk also make it so you must have a max/completion cape equipped to enter Frost dragons are worthless to people with completion capes, as they are already ludicrously rich to begin with.
  16. I jelly. I've gotten two SOLs out of my 15 or so tasks I've had. You might say you're... ...SOL 8-) YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
  17. Started sometime shortly before Dragon Slayer.
  18. I jelly. I've gotten two SOLs out of my 15 or so tasks I've had.
  19. ...So don't play runescape....? People who cheat on a game and try to run businesses off of them obviously care a lot more about RS than casual players like me. I wouldn't take the risk of downloading potential trojans or go through the effort of purchasing a bot or RWT just to enlarge my e-peen on an online video game, but a lot of people on TIF obviously would. If grinding sucks...just don't do it? Also, I'm pretty sure i could make 25 grand on minimum wage with the time it took people to get lvl 138 and win 6B staking, or do something even more productive. So the whole idea of RWT seems incredibly unprofitable and useless, unless you're in the RWT business with like a billion bots doing work for you. But I seriously doubt any RWT company owner makes more money than any middle class american or person that just graduated from a decent college, considering the selling of virtual goods is a completely unstable and shady industry. Well that makes you either an idiot, or completely ignorant of how profitable running bots or getting lucky staking + selling is. Likely both. lololol have fun botting/grinding w/e on runescape to pay off college while i go to college on schoarships/grants kthx. Ah see no, I spent many years on RS getting these levels while going to school and working. I made the equivalent of about $5,000 in 4 days on this game, not in 10 years. That's where you have it wrong. But there's no reasoning with a self-proclaimed troll, and speaking of rule enforcement, I thought one of the rules was no trolls/trolling. Chop chop, Danq? Or are you too busy man-handling other posts elsewhere? I'm pretty sure the time spent getting the money to go staking/getting stats probably has to be taken into account if you want to equate the amount of money you earn on runescape vs life. I acquired that money and stats whilst playing normally. But if you really need a breakdown. you can buy one melee bot for probably 20 bucks, and use that to get 5 accounts to maxed melee in a few weeks, can sell those accounts on various other websites for real cash, use some of that cash to buy gold for a single account and go staking with it, all essentially while you're away from your computer. From there you can melee box and get lucky, or use the gold to get your Magic to 99 with another bot (already paid for due to aforementioned) and mage box. Or you can be like a friend of my friend's who makes 200m a day by having multiple accounts farming Black Demons for ashes and various other drops, while he's asleep / at school. So if you want to tell me you can make 150 dollars while you're in school, then kudos, but most can't. If you take the risks involved, botting and RWTing can be more profitable then a lot of jobs requiring degrees. And especially since Jagex seems to be turning a blind eye to most of it (As I peer over my friends list filled with unbanned people who have all made hundreds - thousands RWTing), it becomes more and more of an option to consider daily. And you say people who are against botting care too much about runescape. LOL. I fail to see that as a rebuttal of any shape or form, so I'm going to walk away with my own personal victory, take heed of your forum name, and ignore any further posts made by your stupid ass in an attempt to get a rise out of me. [/hide] I put that guy on ignore a few months ago. He's one of those "stereotypical e-thug PKers" who returned with the Wildy update, so reasoning with him is a waste of time.
  20. Derpers gonna derp. It always makes me lol when I see kids ranging/fire bolting metal dragons, too.
  21. For the people buying that much gold. Many of them are re-sellers who buy for say .60/M and sell for .80/M. The other small part are people who have their mommy or daddy's credit card and have too much money to care how they spend it. To me $1,000 is a big deal, I mean it would get me by for a month with bills, food, bar tab, clothing, gas, etc. But to others $1,000 is play money or their weekly allowance. Also, I like the idea of an "Honest" thread where people can speak about real experiences and such. What you described is pretty much how the war on drugs plays out in many cities. The top guys aren't anywhere near the "packages," nor are their lieutenants. Anyone who handles the drugs doesn't really matter. So when the cops make busts, all they get are low-level street guys with no real knowledge of the operation, who can't be tied back to the druglords who are running the show.
  22. Y U B TROLLIN IN DAT METAGAME FORUM BRO?
  23. This. Also, Wicked got a week ban from TIF because a mod inferred from his pics that he "account shares," so I would not be surprised if you get at least that for admitting to RWT, which is a markedly greater offense than "account sharing."
