  1. 1. How long will it take? 4-8 hours game time. 2. Do I have to spend moola? Around 400-600k in runes, plus a mud staff, which is around 1.4m last I checked. The mud staff is optional, but is very useful... And you can just sell it when you are finished. 3. Do I have to get pizazz points in each room? Yes... IIRC, 200 Graveyard, 250 alchemy, 1500 enchantment, 200 telekinetic. Don't quote me on that, though. I am positive about the graveyard and telekinetic, and pretty sure about alchemy, but I think I am a little off on the enchantment. 4. Which room gives me more points? In order of difficulty from easiest to hardest: Graveyard, Enchantment, Alchemy, Telekinetic. 5. Anything else you can think of to help me: Bring around 4 sharks to the Graveyard and stand by the chute. Use a guide on the telekinetic mazes... Other than that, good luck.... The telekinetic room is mind numbingly grueling. By the way, peaches are untradable :-k
  2. Meh, I don't really notice a big difference.... But several of my friends swear that they get significantly more whips during Abby Assignments than normally.
  3. If it takes you two hours to sell a pair of rune boots, you're doing something wrong. I sell all mine for 180k each and it usually takes me five minutes tops to sell 2-4 pairs. I cannot really compare the two tasks, though.... As I am only 82 slayer.
  4. Plenty of people have lost millions to it. It seems like every day, in rants, you'll see at least one person who lost over 1m+ to that house scam or a similar one.
  5. That's a good idea... The basic idea was to provide both crafters and rangers with new high level gear... And to have a dragon drop it, as I think it'd be funny to see Glough get fried by a fireball. But this is a very long "mini quest"... It is not technically a quest, although it operates like one. I'd like to include pictures of what I'd like the items to look like, but my Photoshoppe skills suck :-w And also, I thought about the stats for the Claymore very carefully. The whip + defender combo provides 87 strength, so I had the Claymore provide two damage (relatively 8 strength bonus) more than it, while losing one level of speed. This makes it a very effective weapon, while still maintaining balance. Also, with the high cost, it'll be a very good money sink.... Far better than the Steel Dragons from Construction, as far more people will want to invest in this.
  6. Yep.... Jagex hasn't even raised a finger to fix it. To them, it doesn't exist. What happens is the packet relaying the final hit is still en route to the server, while you are kicked out of the house. By the time it reaches the server, it goes through the death checklist, i.e. were you skulled or in protective areas, and you were no longer in a protective area, so you die and drop your items. It'd be so easy to fix, if they just added a string of code to make it where your HP is fully replenished immediately after you leave a house.
  7. WARNING: LONG POST The Final Showdown Requirements: 200+ Quest Points Must have completed Tree Gnome Village, Grand Tree, and Monkey Madness 90 strength 75 prayer 80 mining 80 firemaking 85 woodcutting 76 agility ***THIS SIDE-QUEST YIELDS NO QUEST POINTS, THEREFORE IT IS NOT REQUIRED TO MAINTAIN YOUR QUEST CAPE*** Recommended Skills/Items: 95 herblore; the ability to make Cure Disease potions is an advantage Once again, the Gnome people are threatened by impending destruction. King Narnode Shareen received a scroll from none other than the infamous Glough, which stated Narnode must send a messenger to his den with a notice of abdication, or else he would unleash his newest weapon upon the Stronghold. The problem is, none of the other gnomes are brave enough to seek out Glough on his own territory. Do you have what it takes to survive whatever horrors the mischievous magus has undoubtedly prepared? Will you emerge victorious from the Final Showdown? Walkthrough: Upon talking to Narnode Shareen, he hands you a scroll. ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬ÅYou scum thwarted my plans for the LAST time! I have developed my Magicks far beyond anything this world has ever seen, and I will not hesitate to use them against you. However, I am giving you one chance to save your people, Narnode. I want a messenger to deliver notice of your abdication to my den; located south of a plateau of Ice deep in the area of the world you mortals call the ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬ÅWilderness.ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ
  8. Ah, the infamous "house scam." Yes, let's update the graphics on cows but completely disregard a major bug that has become one of the most frequently used methods of scamming. #-o And for realz, it wouldn't be hard to fix. Just add a line of code that makes it where as soon as you leave someone's house, your HP/stats return to full. That would prevent the dds spec/vengeance + kick bug.
  9. The Diary won't be F2p. I can almost guarantee that. Besides, isn't the point of the Diary to get people to visit areas that are not frequented regularly? And I thought the Diary would be a perfect way for Jagex to give high levels quest-esque things to do without worrying about requirements... As the normal quests are handicapped by the Quest Cape, which people will [bleep] about if an extraordinarily long/hard quest comes along.
  10. Worst time I was scammed was when I fell for the double skirt scam. :wall:
  11. Lol. They should really disable the Report Abuse button for anyone below 1k total in members and 500 total in free. That would help control the amount of "noob reports" that they get from clueless morons.
  12. One time, I was at the Lighthouse, doing a Dagganoth assignment. A level 92 runs across the room to attack the one I am attacking. After he does this three more times, I said "Wth is your problem?" He immediately responded with "Reported noob!" Some people just make me wish I could reach my hands through the screen and strangle them. It's people like that guy who give RS a bad reputation, and make peers ridicule their friends who play RS.
  13. I am very disappointed, although not surprised, with the outcome of this poll. Quite frankly, they need to just discontinue the GC polls, as they will always end up with noobs throwing the poll in favor of what looks easiest or most familiar. :boohoo: This sucks. I am going to have a good laugh at all the rants that will occur due to how horrible the update will be, when they release the Varrock Diary. :wall:
