  1. Get an eagle eye kiteshield for when/if you ever want to do Nex.
  2. Holy [bleep]ing [cabbage]. Full Pernix + Divine :ohnoes: Really, when you're THAT loaded, what's the point in playing? You've already won THE GAME.
  3. nice 83 kills dry atm here 6-8 man lol  Dang, thought they made items more common?
  4. Yea bad thing about randoms is that most of em probably have huge LSP from corp.
  5. Impressive! I usually average like 1 skirt/legs every three or four tasks, so about 1/150 :S
  6. Wow. I paid 800k for my Zbook years ago, and I thought that was a lot then! Jesus, 4.7m for ONE PAGE? That's ludicrous. I suppose that's what happens when Jagex refuses to create a new item better for rangers than something that came out several years ago.
  7. focus is more on faster kills with smaller teams, since there is no killcount problem anymore Thus meaning Void is more important now. Alright, thanks. a great offense could be the best defense, atleast that's what grimy more or less found out. Doing the most damage isn't only about having the best offensive set, but when you can kill nex on max stats consistently(don't brew yourself to 0's). A divine could be as much of an offensive weapon as full void, at nex, and i'm still guessing that full pernix with divine would be the best setup possible. As for large teams with lower levels, because of the specifics of nex, there are limits to how far you can push until you just can't outdamage her from what she heals in both blood stage and soul split stage, so really, there is no point in stupid masses. This. Once you get more than 10 people, Nex's healing abilities begin to overpower your group, especially if people try to run away when she gets on them, dragging Nex away from the rest of the group (and therefore wasting many valuable turns of combat).
  8. The Ancient Mages will never lose aggro. However, with 100 mage defense, the Reavers will.
  9. How'd that happen?
  10. A team without overloads can't kill her. Regardless of its size? You can't zerg rush her, because both her blood form and her Soul Split heal off groups. Therefore, with 20+ people, it becomes very difficult to out-DPS her healing abilities. A team of 20+ people without OVL has no chance at all. 10 is around the optimal team size for inexperienced users, I believe. A team of around 5 is optimal for people experienced with Nex.
  11. How the hell is [Caution: Jagex Rule Violation] still operational? That place is like THE worst RS cheating community on the web. Can't Jagex sue the hell out of the webmaster to get it shut down? Or would the legions just put it up on a mirror?
  12. Part of why the majority of Overworld bosses suck is because they were designed with the old HP caps, which were fine when GWD just came out, but since the addition of xpots, turmoil, and claws... 2550 HP is nothing. What makes Nex so difficult is that she has something like 50K total HP.
  13. So um, would I be able to come if I brought a pony and just left to restock in the middle? >_> It'll be a bit before I can get a yak.
  14. Yea, if mods object they can edit my thread or tell me to edit it. I got out a good bit of frustration by making this thread. This bug is at its most annoying when you're trying to preserve your skill boosts. I was trying to catch imps with a hunter boost, so I could have some insurance if I died at Nex. I'd catch one or two and then log so that my boost wouldn't go down. Well, more than half the time I tried to log back in, I'd get booted. This is also a major problem when you're PKing with a clan, since there's frequent world hops involved. As a TBer, it screws the team over when they have to wait for me to log back in after I got logged out from this bug.
  15. I'm having a lot of fun killing these mages. It's just such a shame there's only three spawns.
  16. Eh, I did for like two days. People are wrong on the internets, it's serious business. I can't rest knowing people are wrong :ohnoes:
  17. When you try to log into a world, it gives you the error message "Your account is already logged in. Please wait 60 seconds" and then completely logs you out to the log-in screen. It doesn't matter if you just hopped worlds or haven't played at all that day.
  18. Seriously Jagex, it happens to me 1 in 3 times I log out, no [bleep]ing joke. [bleep]ing fix your [bleep]ign [cabbage], this is [bleep]ing infuriating.
  19. No no no, urdoinitrong. You wear your standard gear on the way to the door and the quickly switch into your robes right in front of the door and go in.
  20. kill rate per player isnt that different for team sizes anymore now due to ceremonial no kill count. i think 4-5 man would be fine. just get 1 kill a trip. Yup, the killcount removal was the best part of the update, I need to get a few mill now to return to nex :D I'd say that increasing the drop rates so much that they seem to be realistically 1:20 is the best part of the update :D Jagex actually did a lot of things right with this.
  21. Would if I had a yak. Also, how does a DFS compare, there? Is it worth getting one for Nex? I can't afford a Spectral/Ely/Divine and I am a ways away from having enough tokens for a EEKS.
  22. I lol'd.
