You HAVE to have Overloads. Reason why is you use brews as your main healing source, since it stacks the most HP in one space and heals faster than food. That's also why you have to have a Yak to do Nex. You'll probably run out of supplies otherwise.

I do wonder what the items will stabilize at.

Good. For any non-discontinued item to be worth several times the GP cap is a big indication that something's wrong. I still think that when all the dust settles, Torva and Pernix items (especially body/legs) will still be worth over a bil per item. Even with a drop rate as good as 1:20, it's not as if these items will be coming into the game at a quick pace. Just to get on a Nex team requires you to be among the elite players, since you need 99 combat stats, 99 range, 96 summoning, and at least 91 herblore, in addition to tens of millions worth of gear. And then, a team can maybe get 4-6 Nex kills per hour, accounting for re-stocking delays and assuming everybody has a set of Ceremonial Robes. There is humongous demand for these items because of how powerful they are for MHing (and if you want to risk them, PKing), so that along with everything else will ensure that the prices for Torva/Pernix will remain very high for a long time to come.

Um, does anybody know specifically what stats you need to unaggro the monsters in Zaros GWD?

From what I've heard, the drop rates are very common. Like ~1:10.

What annoys you the most on RuneScape?
Random Events. Since Jagex is in the process of selling-out to cheaters, they should remove randoms. Srsly. Move all the randoms to another plane where you can still visit them if you want to and collect rewards periodically, but don't make them mandatory.

What annoys you the most on RuneScape?
That's people trying to "scam" your assist. They assume since you have a good herblore, then you must have already bought cooking since it's so much cheaper (profits now, but yea). I guess for you since you don't have the level, you didn't need to worry about. But right now, the only skill I have on for assists is farming. I only turn the others on for friends. If you want make sure you get an assist in the right skill, just turn off all the ones you don't want. Oh... Figures, since the guy had a scumbag name (ooOIiioOoIiiOiOi or something like that involving o's and i's). I've also had it happen with smithing and farming, too. Herblore is the only assistable skill that I am able to do effigies for, thankfully.

What annoys you the most on RuneScape?
People who fail at reading. I'm standing a few squares away from other players in W117 and nobody is on top of me. I'm advertising "Offer 95 herblore" and have been doing so for a couple of minutes. Some guy comes up to me and requests my assistance, so I give it. Then I get a message "You need 95 cooking to assist this person." WHAT THE [bleep] YOU [bleep]ING [developmentally delayed]ED NOOB, COULD YOU NOT READ I WAS OFFERING HERBLORE? These people are equally irritating in W2... You're spamming that you're selling something and they trade you and put up the item you're selling. Then they cancel and say "o, i thot u were buying" ::facedesk:

What annoys you the most on RuneScape?
Jagex. Since they don't actually play their game, almost every decision they make regarding the game is the wrong one. For example, the planned release of a new high-level Slayer monster/boss, which they're placing in the Wilderness.

Depends, this is just a static image. If it actually has animated lava flows, like the Fire Cape, I think it'll look pretty damn spectacular :ohnoes:

Less than 0.1% of RS can enjoy the Nex update, so who the [bleep] cares if this monster is 97 slayer? Also, slayer is a skill, and a damn tedious one at that. It needs to have high level rewards outside of DG.

That's pretty extreme...I'd say change killcount and double the droprate at most Getting rid of KC and doubling the drop rates would help tremendously. Imagine how much Divines would be if you had to do a 15 minute KC before you could fight Corp... Yeah. The KC is just demoralizing more than anything. CHANGE KC, not remove... Tbh, just remove it. You already have to get the key, and Nex takes 6-12 minutes per kill. There's no need to have a killcount attached, too.

This. In almost every instance, the risk in the Wilderness vastly outweighs the reward. Griefers don't think logically, they have nothing to lose but time. You can arm yourselves and fight back against them all you want, but because they're one-iteming, they'll just come back for more within a minute or two of you killing them. Meanwhile, they pose a significant risk to YOU. But of course, the whiny [bleep]ing PKers on these forums will do what they do best and make it seem like it's always "us skillers" whining about getting PKed, and most sheeple will probably agree with the PKers. Never mind that people who put in the time to raise what is the second most tedious skill in the game (behind only RC) want to be REWARDED for their hard work. The first part of your past I agree with. The second part about pkers, well you're a hypocrite. I have never seen anyone on this forum complain as much as you do. I almost think its your job. I am extremely cynical, and I detest most decisions Jagex makes. And I'm vocal about it. So yeah, I complain a lot but it's because Jagex makes many more bad decisions than good ones.

A torva set is 15b. At a rate of a dollar per mil, that's $15k for a set of Torva. In other words, you can buy a [bleep]ing car for as much as a set of Torva costs. Nice work, jagex.

I think any group of 6 people able to rush someone with some degree of coordination without accidentally targetting each other would have better things to do than use Korasi's. Aforementioned claws, for instance. :P whateva thay end up useing, your still dead without the ability to fight back. not fun. No ability to fight back? No one can attack you in the Wilderness unless you can attack them too, to my knowledge. No, what he was saying is that there's not much you can do to save yourself when a bunch of noobs zerg rush you with spec weapons in multi. Especially if one of them spears you. Even with DDS, if there are six people speccing you chances are that before you can even eat once, you'll be dead. That's especially the case with D claws or Dark Bows.

Well, to be fair, a group of six people with KS would still more-than-likely kill you in one turn even in multi, since those 150-200 hits would add up. Fortunately, they'd also probably kill each other in the process. Nevertheless, in high-risk worlds, instead of one-item d clawers, you'd have the old-school dds one-itemers.

Jad and his stupid healers.
Get your ranged/herblore up and use deflects with rune bolts on a slayer task. You'll easily deal enough damage to out-hit the healers. ;)

Depends how it's incorporated into Slayer. I would highly doubt Jagex would break tradition of the other Strykewyrms and make it have nothing to do with the Slayer skill. If you have to have 95+ slayer to kill it, that alone will vastly limit the competition regardless of where it's located. Also, based on the pictures, it's quite obvious it IS in the Wilderness. In one picture, the guy with the cannon is unskulled, and in another there's a loot pile of rune and he has a skull.
