  1. Three xrange, wrench, greegree, tab, and the rest prayer pots/super prayer pots.
  2. HLF friend of mine said Jagex hotfixed the cannon bug... So...
  3. FWIW, a friend has told me that cannon bug was hotfixed last night.
  4. D'oh! Did you get back in time?
  5. Holy [cabbage], that is a brilliant idea.
  6. Even if it were true that Jagex can't look at what items a player had in the past, which it absolutely isn't (they catch bug abusers with similar tools they could use to verify claims of items lost to bugs), it would STILL be Jagex's fault for not having developed the system. There will always be people who take advantage of whatever they can, it's the company's responsibility to deal with them. It's also the company's responsibility to own up to its mistakes and reimburse people, but Jagex have always been lazy and unreliable in that way. Indeed. It's much easier (and less costly) for them to issue a blanket policy of "We don't give a [cabbage]" than to actually devote resources to providing decent Customer Support. This is exactly why there are so many bugs, why they won't return items even in situations where item loss occurs through no fault of the player's, and why the offense/appeal system is so hilariously broken. It's also why everything Jagex has tried to create outside of RS has failed--- they can get away with "We don't give a [cabbage]" in RS because most of the people who play it are already hooked... In a new product without that "addiction blindness," not so much.
  7. I know for a fact that you are still getting more time. I routinely get ~160 tears at 300+ QP, and I know that that was most definitely not possible back when the max was around 240 tears. Back then, I was fortunate to get ~110 tears.
  8. Jagex's motto: If it ain't broke, we'll break it. If it's already broken, we'll still find a way to break it.
  9. They will punish us for their own incompetency. They regularly do that. Remember how W53 crashed and dozens of pros lost their binds, many of which included the extremely-rare Hexhunter bow? Yeah, Jagex doesn't care if they [bleep] up and we pay for it. If we quit, we'll just be replaced by n00bs anyway, so why should they give a [cabbage]?
  10. If you have a Divine/Ely, probably yes.
  11. Except that this isn't really fun and it isn't better than any old methods of training. It's a worthless update. I do agree with what you're saying though: RPGs evolve, and it is their nature that things get easier over the course of the game. *shrugs* Deal with it or don't play an MMORPG.
  12. Skeletal Wyverns is the other. Lol.
  13. did someone sort of replace trollvelius? I actually wouldn't be surprised if more cannonballs enter the game via Corp drops than people making them. The way I remember it, cb smithing was terribly tedious, or maybe they improved it and I'm just remembering RSC.
  14. But it's an update!!!1 We got new stuff!!1!11!1 We should be happy!!!1111!1shiftonetyeleven
  15. They never said this was that update, and we all know how people dislike others putting words into other people's mouths. So why do just that? Ceremonial sword smithing looks like it might actually be fun. I do that for every single update nowadays  Disappointed that there was nothing else besides this update... Tbh in other news is probably bigger news than the actual news itself... For once, a post by Amitoz that I agree with :ohnoes: The majority of updates I find that the "In other news" has more impact on the game than the main update. One reason for that is Jagex likes to "tweak" stuff that didn't need messing with, inadvertently breaking it.
  16. Funny, that. So how does anyone ever learn how to do it, if nobody will take them? Go with RSOF teams that are likely not to bless you and steal your crap? Yep. Go with an RSOF team and watch out for yourself. Or bring a friend who also wants to learn, and both join the same team, so at least someone is watching your back. Besides, you can get back to the room in under 10 minutes easily, so blessing isn't a big deal unless you do something really stupid (in which case it doesn't matter that they blessed). How do you loot your items if you're being attacked by Nex? Say, you die near the end of a kill and your team teleports?

  18. This pic felt appropriate for this thread:
  19. It definitely seems like Virtus drops a LOT more often than Pernix/Torva.
  20. Wat. Grossly overpowered. Even if they do explode on impact, the fire darts are way, way, WAY overpowered. And we don't need D claws being any more common/cheaper than they already are. They are the best spec weapon for any boss, and need to be at least somewhat exclusive...
  21. Expected, but still disappointing.
  22. This would be a good slayer update: At certain level plateaus, you gain a passive 150% damage increase against a type of monster, regardless if you are on task. This bonus also extends inside Daemonheim: Level 90: Giants Level 93: Ghosts Level 95: Mages Level 97: Demons Level 99: Dragons
  23. That is what is inherently wrong with LS. Jagex [bleep]ed it all up a while back when they changed the formula to allow for a randomness factor when deciding who gets the loot. Their idea was that at Corp, it was unfair for people with hundreds of millions of LSP to go there because they'd get all the drops. That's exactly how it SHOULD work. But in typical Jamflex fashion, they had to break something that worked, and so now you have "sniping."
  24. Only reason to train slayer now is if you aren't maxed melee and don't want to AFK zombies.
