I think you should know that I'm quitting Runescape as of now. I've had a longstanding goal to obtain some of these armor sets for around five to seven hundred million gp, and now that I know I can't it just takes the fun out of the game. With the exception of using Pernix to kill Nex, these items are the best definition you will ever get of "luxury item." There is literally no place where the use of Torva justifies its obscene pricetag. Solo GWD? Bandos armor is almost as good and is like 20 times cheaper. PvP? Have fun getting DoS'd (or glitched out) for your items. Virtus gets a nod because it is fairly useful for Corp Beast, but even then, that is a niche use. Set your sights on an Elysian. It's a lot easier to obtain (last I checked it was around 590m) and has more uses than Torva/Virtus/Pernix. Erm... I'm pretty sure he was being sarcastic. I fell into the sarchasm? :( FML.

I started out in 2001 and could have been a rune plate pure in RSC. I did Dragon Slayer before magic was a requirement (i.e. before they made it where you couldn't trade quest items, meaning you couldn't buy the completed map and thus had to get telegrab).

I think what you're misinterpreting is the people who said "Don't get a Divine, get a Pernix Body instead."

Dungeoneering is the only part of the game I still care about. I am poor by most peoples' standards (my net worth, including OVL, is probably around 150m), but I have little desire for more money. I don't see myself buying any skills, other than eventually Summoning levels, since Jagex has gone out of their way to make non-combat skills worthless. And all the items in the game are either less than 70m or 600m+. So since I have never been lucky, why bother?

vey nice indeed a setup description and details of your fight would be nice, if not a vid So is soloing impossible atm? Can you only make it to half hp? I would imagine that, with the current weaponry, it is impossible to out-DPS her blood form. And even if you could, it is extremely difficult to survive the Ice form by yourself.

Why do you keep playing this game if all you do is talk [cabbage] about the developers? Without their work, this game wouldn't exist. It's a damn miracle it still does exist. Jagex has mismanaged the game into the ground-- look at any site traffic graph and you'll see that, aside from a minor blip when they brought back the Wilderness, RS site traffic has been on a steady decline since 2007. And I still play because there are a few things I still enjoy doing in the game. That doesn't mean I have to think Jagex is doing a good job, because they clearly are not.

If you get a CCS, would that enable you mage most monsters? I've heard that with the CCS and surgebox, you out DPS a primal 2h against zombies and skeletons.

On Warped Gulgea, you have to pray switch like Jad, but with a much smaller window for reaction time. And Gulgea also has one attack that will do one less than your current HP-- its when the vines appear far away, then a little closer, then one vine appears underneath you. Run away to avoid it. Bloodragers are essential for this boss; without ragers, it will take longer than a Necrolord in a 5:5 dungeon.

Can you use a Steel Titan? It might be helpful in recovering your stuff if you die.

I remember training strength inside the guards entrance at Black Knights Fortress. Yea, boi. Old school powertraining.

Warpeds are a pain in the ass. The exp is awesome, but they are really annoying to do. I hate the bosses and I [bleep]ing hate Reborn Mages.

Never, ever, ever do Thundrous while people are still opening rooms. You WILL [bleep] it up. Other than that, as soon as you see the text appear, run behind a pillar. Then as soon as your character gets behind the pillar, click to attack him again. The attack animation will occur as you are running back to attack him, but you won't get hit by the attack as long as you ran behind the pillar after you saw him say something. And he won't mage if everybody does this. And yes, he is easy if four or five people all do it. But if someone solos/duos him, they will need super rejuvs. And he heals some when he kills people, but AFAIK it is not as much as when he hits you with COME CLOSER!

Solo is many times slower. And you start reaping good XP past level 90 DG.

All three shields suck, but it seems the consensus is that the EEKS is the most useful. The CKS, while useful at DKS, degrades very quickly because you are constantly in combat with the Spinolyps. That takes a good bit of the usefulness away.
