  1. This, tbh. The tokens lost by using free exp on Summoning are negligible compared to the time saved. And no, do not use c1s to level. You will get to about level 20 and then it will be like crafting chaos runes to level RC.
  2. 1st guy is just an attention [bleep], and the second guy is an idiot. Now, I myself have used a Pony while using Protect Melee for two reasons: 1) I can't use a Yak yet. 2) I usually prayer flash, so I occasionally get hit hard, and the pony helps with that. However, leaving all his drops on the floor INCLUDING d platelegs, inexcusable.
  3. DGing is like chess... It's fairly simple to learn, but it takes thousands of hours to master. As far as training goes, you do all the floors you are capable of doing, and this creates "Prestige" which is equal to the total number of floors you have completed. Once you have done all the floors you are capable of doing, and you cannot unlock any new ones, you click Reset, which sets your completed floors to 0 but saves the Prestige. As you train, you'll unlock more floors, and when you do all your old floors in addition to the floors you just unlocked, it raises your Prestige. Prestige Level impacts the exp you receive more than anything else. As far as teaching you what to do, that's kind of difficult. Most people in DGS don't do floors below F30, and many of them don't like doing floors below F36 (Occults). The second-tier abandoned floors (30-35) have a lot of nasty enemies that see through your hood, don't give that great exp for someone 95+ DG, and have some really irritating bosses. So then what's the fastest way to powerlevel my way through these early levels? I'm really frustrated getting 500xp for 30 mins on a solo small floor, and want to get through this stage of dungeoneering ASAP. Shouldn't be taking you 30 minutes to solo a small floor, especially on the ice levels. Make use of the personal gatestone and group gatestones to mark important locations, such as locked doors you do not have keys for yet.
  4. Hope it's not bugfest like Oblivion for PS3 :wall: Other than a rare freeze, I never really had much trouble with Oblivion, at least with regard to bugs I didn't intentionally recreate. Fallout 3 and NV, on the other hand... :ohnoes: Skyrim should be better than the last three Bethesda games, simply because it is using an entirely different engine. Oblivion, FO3, and FO: NV all used the outdated Gamebryo engine which just couldn't handle the massive scale of those games and the detail that went into them. I just hope to God the "save file" glitch that resulted in unplayable 15MB files on FO3/NV isn't present in Skyrim.

  6. Yes please. DG rewards currently stop at level 90 (and in all practicality, level 80), which is not even halfway to level 99, much less 120. So yea, I'd like to see some rewards past level 100 DG.
  7. Funny thing is, Seercull is SO worthless it doesn't even CS. A [bleep]ing dragon dagger p++ drop from K'riil is CS'd, but not a Seercull.
  8. spirit shields are ridiculously underpriced already. Wat.
  9. Just like pures-- They are (or were, at one time) the worst breed of PKers. Many PKers are asses, but pures, oh lawd.
  10. You using wireless? If you are, you really ought to look into buying an ethernet cable for such instances or switching to a different standard than the one your microwave uses (find that out).
  11. Since everything else apparently got drop boosts, I wonder what kind of changes they made to Nex, if any?
  12. If you want to give up the good exp from F45-47, sure. And Thundrous doesn't take THAT long if all five people on the team know what they're doing.
  13. These drops aren't exactly common... just how commonly will you get a rare herb drop? Like maybe how many times per X hours while doing kuradel slayer tasks, for example. either way I don't like the idea of Jagex touching herb farming in any way. Coal's another story since that's mostly collected by bots. Why couldn't jagex just invent some more new content like vecna's skull? I guess that would take too much effort. Altogether, today's update reeks of "put together in the last few days."
  14. These drops aren't exactly common... They are not that rare, either. And when you figure that there will be thousands of players at any one time killing monsters that can potentially drop these items, the farming and herb markets are going to crash hard.
  15. I have a strong suspicion these drops will be nerfed before too long. This is way too overpowered to remain. Jagex really has no concept of "balance"--- they either skew things one way or the other. Everything is either completely underwhelming or game-breaking.
  16. What's the frequency of these spots (or in other words, what's the practical xp/hour)? Also, what determines the floor used for the dungeon, and how does that affect boss selection? Could a party just select 36 for each Occult Floor and only face bosses on F36? Or is it based on what floor the leader is "on"? AFAIK, everything works as before (the game loads the floor you selected) except if you do a floor you have already completed, the game defaults to your lowest uncompleted floor in that series and uses that to calculate your exp.
  17. Yay, more excuses for randoms to skill?
  18. If we dont break it we ain't trying
  19. I am excited about the new Torstol drops; hopefully this will combat the huge increase in demand from all the fr00bs who rode out the xp weekend to 92+ herb
  20. A "kids" TV show that's original fanbase are now in the prime 25-35 age band that spend the most money. Its an optimal group to market for. I think this game will be more than meets the eye and am looking forward to hearing more about it. They were action figures first and foremost. Just like GI Joe and He-man. It's what kids played with before video games caught on. You know before nintendo or sega master system. Once the toys caught on, then Hasbro decided to cash in big by having somebody make a cartoon about it. Thus the old 80's cartoon which was decent until they made that movie with Lenord Nemoy. Been utter garbage since. Unless the Gower's make it like the action figures or the old cartoon that we used to watch, then it will be utter crap like everything since including the two live action "movies". Anyway, this signals the beginning of the end for runescape as Jagex tries to become the next Activision. Even though the RS online users has gone up since Free Trade, the overall traffic visiting the website has consistently dropped since 2007 (except for a small spike right after Free Trade). This game has been doomed for a while now. Why do you think the Gowers bowed out?
  21. The general consensus I've heard is that I should get Blazer to t8 and then save tokens until I can get t10 blitzer.
  22. Which maging ring is better, Blazer or Blitzer?
