  1. Eh, this seems like a fairly common complaint. Part of it is that the Keyers are pretty much the only people high enough to do Warped floors. So if they don't go with each other, then more than likely they'll just end up C1ing F52+ and lose a lot of potential exp.
  2. Not RPG's, which is what RuneScape is. RPG's have way more gameplay than 10 hours. Speedrunners beg to differ ;)
  3. What's the point in a 5:4 floor, really? At that difficulty, the exp is crap and there is no challenge. Even if you can key four 5:4 floors in an hour, if you are getting like 25k exp for them you're still going to end up with a lot less per hour than 5:5s.
  4. Wat. Never heard of them. And DGing with elitist friends > DGing with random elitist [wagon] because when you mess up, you can all laugh about it after they yell at you. If you mess up in a random elitist [wagon] group, you might get kicked, at at the very least, the element of humor isn't there and that's half the fun.
  5. Wat. How did you end up with 79% when you had all bonus rooms, and moreover, how did you end up with such a low Floor Exp? I would say that you couldn't complete some rooms, but you have the full bonus xp, so yea. What happened?
  6. It's not like he has an extremely powerful magic attack or anything. O, wait... Didn't watch the video? They were lucky that one guy using the GGS tele didn't cause it to mage. Been my experience that when someone takes too long to attack Thundrous again after hiding, it'll use its mage attack, which can hit extremely high.

  8. Depends, and it would be helpful if you said what they were or posted a picture. I don't think may people here want to open the high scores and look you up manually. Honestly, we don't care THAT much about stats. However, if you try to go with one of our pro teams and you are <120 combat, chances are you won't get great exp because you will die frequently. Well, you'll have roughly the same defense if you're all wearing hoods, so the only defensive disadvantage you'll be at is less prayer before the altar and a little less hitpoints, perhaps no SS either. You'll have those situations where you'll be wishing you had 10 more prayer or 100 more hp, but if you pay attention and execute a little common sense (i.e not going into boss rooms alone/lagging) you should be alright. My main concern with people of lower combat levels is that they won't deal sufficient damage in guardian rooms. Defense in dungeoneering doesn't matter at all if you don't have armor - most monsters rape me and I'm 99 defense/magic. But anyway, I highly recommend that people with lower combat levels get at least 80 attack for a gorg 2h. Having a higher tiered zerker ring is a necessity, too. We don't really discriminate based on combat level (within reason), but most keyers will snap at you if you're waiting for other people to jump into GDs or avoiding tanking, so be sure to take initiative. My main point about combat levels and survivability was Hitpoints. Players with <900 HP die far more frequently than players with above 900 because it's a lot harder to survive nasty combos. Without armor, you get raped regardless, but having higher HP gives a much greater chance to live through some door lag in a room full of aggressive monsters. It's fairly easy to be comboed for 500-700 LP. Also, given that most bosses can easily hit upwards of 500 damage, higher HP gives greater survivability there too.

  10. I got the ears but missed the Scythe. :(
  11. 97/95 prayer? Reported, enjoy the ban bug abuser. How many reports will i get for having 85/75 ? Derpers gonna derp.
  12. I don't think Jagex designed the system to reward people for randomly completing floors. They just meant to make it a little easier, with the cost for the convenience being less exp. Ideally, you will want to complete floors you haven't done already to avoid having this system kick in.
  13. Not really. The victim was a hoarder. The Santas sat in her bank all the time, so either way, it's like Santas never existed on the market because they weren't a part of the supply. Santas were fluctuating all the time even when she had 1K Santas in her bank. Demand for Santas went up because she was hoarding them, thus restricting the supply. Demand for Santas will remain the same because having them removed is essentially the same as not trading that wealth at all, thus keeping the supply the same as before: restricted. Because of this, I would argue that the Santas being removed have a minimal affect on the economy. All the idiots (and there are a lot of them) are panicking because they are too dumb to realize this. Once these [developmentally delayed]s come to their senses in a few days, the market will stabilize.
  14. What do you recommend? White Gloves or Cooking Gloves, a white whip, and a 3AKS or Moneybags kiteshield.
  15. Pretty much this. RSC is the fansite you want to use for trying to display your clan pride spread propaganda about your clan. Over here at TIF, most people don't give a [cabbage]. There are way more skillers on these forums than PKers.
  16. for dread have 4-5 maging it, if it targets you then run around the room you shouldn't be using blast spells you should be using surge spells for blink, it's easier with more people as you have more people to cover more areas for pillars Ah ok, so would it be worth upgrading my blaster ring to tier 5ish or higher for just dread? And I was using blasts because it's all I had available at that time. Blaster doesn't affect him.
  17. 1) Floor Level 2) Complexity. 3) Prestige. This is the most complicated and difficult to explain concept from DG. Prestige is equal to the total number of floors you have competed. You only receive a Prestige bonus for floors you have not completed, so when you complete every floor then you choose reset. As you unlock new floors by leveling, you can increase your Prestige. So say you had up to floor 30 unlocked, but after you reset, you unlock F31. Well, after you complete F1-30 and then do F31, your Current Prestige will be 31. So when you reset, it will save it as 31. 4) Rooms unlocked. A floor with more rooms will give more exp, so the exp varies a little from floor to floor when you do mediums/larges. This is also why when you get a room you can't do and it keeps you from doing other rooms, you lose FAR more exp than just the "Bonus Room" bonus. 5) Miscellaneous bonuses. These are given for doing dungeons in teams (5:5), the floor size (you get bonuses for medium/large), the Bonus Room bonus (up to 13%), and the Level Mod which is determined by how many monsters you killed. Usually, an efficient DG team will have anywhere from -9% Level Mod to -19% Level Mod (if there are very few Guardian Doors in the floor). 6) Deaths. In a solo floor, it seems like deaths are -7% per, but in large 5:5 floors, they range from 10-15% per death. As far as I know, you do not get extra exp for skilling. The only things inside a floor that impact exp, other than opening rooms, are deaths and killing monsters (which translates into Level Mod).
  18. Simple and clean is the way that you're making me feel tonight, it's hard to let it go.
  19. Pfft, he's Brut. They have no honor or integrity at all, and pretty much the whole clan world hates them because of their long-standing association with VR. Hell, Brut made a video gloating about their abuse of the Corp Glitch. So yea, that doesn't surprise me.
  20. At what point is it appropriate to kick someone from a floor for not listening? Imo, when a person cops an attitude after being told what to do and starts repeatedly flaming the keyer or other members of the team, that's when the team should seriously consider kicking the person. Having someone trying to be an e-thug in a dungeon doesn't do anything other than hurt productivity and suck the fun out of it for the rest of the team. Do remember that it takes a unanimous vote of all four members to kick someone, so everybody on the team has to agree that so-and-so is being a belligerent little pain in the ass and that the benefits of removing said troublemaker from the team outweighs the risk of creating inaccessible rooms.
  21. I agreed with everything except the trim, which is awful. The one that is winning is the last one I wanted to see, and imo it will ruin the cape if it is selected.
  22. Doing what you are told is elitist? If you have a problem with that, you can always key 25 minute floors yourself(and never be told what to do). The cc is for learning, nintendo was doing what he was supposed to be doing and the idiot decided he needed to show his attitude, which is the last thing you want to do. It really has nothing to do with elitism and everything to do with being an understanding, decent person. This. DGS rarely ever kicks people. In fact, I can only remember a couple instances of it happening the entire time DGS has been open. Keyers will yell at you if you are derping, but if you just do what they say and show effort to fix whatever they scolded you for, everything is peachy. I myself am not a great DGer-- my reflexes aren't good -- but I am always trying to improve, and I apologize when I [bleep] up because I hate being the one to know he's not doing as well as the rest of the team or slowing the rest of the team down... Being belligerent towards the keyers, either in game or on these forums, is the best possible way to get kicked.
  23. 1st guy is just an attention [bleep], and the second guy is an idiot. Now, I myself have used a Pony while using Protect Melee for two reasons: 1) I can't use a Yak yet. 2) I usually prayer flash, so I occasionally get hit hard, and the pony helps with that. However, leaving all his drops on the floor INCLUDING d platelegs, inexcusable. He wasn't even flashing prayer, so was pretty much just wasting a unicorn (yeah it's only like 3k but still a waste). I agree with Rust, was definitely a bot. Every 10 kills or so he would run down to the iron dragons then come back, to ensure that steels were always agressive. Sad, even high level players feel little fear of Jagex's anti-macro system. This game really is going to [cabbage].
