ive actually been pixellin for jst ova a year :) but i tend to only do one or two things a month...

my advice would be to use photoshop if ur comfortable with it, but when startin pixels id suggest just usin paint.. alot of great pixelers do. try searchin for tutorials ;) .... or ask for crits. ( postin from my PSP ) :D

heh I know its not an amazing drawing, I just wanted to practice shading but I had no decent linework to work on, so I just threw together a character and started to colour.. spent like 30 seconds drawing it and half an hour colouring.

we'd need to take it serious, better quality buildings.. Like get together a team, and collab.

There are a few new talents springing up these days, but the same old pixelers still pop in from time to time. xman is a permanent resident here now (congratz xman 8), the the whole mod thing..) Quer Skulll is a watcher and only tends to post when he can be bothered, Godslayer still pops in from time to time but I think he's off adjusting his attitude atm, TJ is entering a competition atm and there are loads you knew you'll hardly see today :( .. And I think some old faces are springing back, coolbanana :) and Tenshi. Other than that this place is just same old same old. :wink:

atm, the general prices start at 1 mill, for you, that'd be no problem mate... People believe pixel sigs are now a fad here at tip.it so you'd be lucky not to see em.

..but it aint isometric :wink:

good start, but I think it'll help you loads if you planed out your sigs before hand, to get the proportions right. because you've just done the torso and legs im guessing your gonna find it hard doing the arms and head, and it may not look the way you wanted it to. also if you plan it out before hand it'll look much more natural and less, stiff/robotic.. also try to keep your lines clean, as in make sure they're like this.. and not like this.. btw, ms paint is all I use too.

dont worry ill fix the legs but the weapons, noone actually notices as of yet but they are actually in wrapping paper :P

only took like 3 hours to draw up, 10 minutes fixing errors and now an hour colouring in this guy.. thx for the comments. :wink:

thats what I would do. but I'd probably mess around with the colours for a bit afterwards.. Just something quick btw, its basically creating a texture to a shaded yellow pile.. zoom in and see.

got rid of those stupid mistakes, :wink: . I'd be nothin without you lot :cry: working on the tree, adding more stuff and details.. etc 8) Nah the whip's a good length if not, too short.. I don't like to scan things in, wastes time, so I just draw everything on paint, and edit if it looks odd, which is why his arms were too long :x .. Btw, it's suppose to be kinda cartoony, so I dun matter that the guy on the left's head looks too big. Adds character :wink: . this is gonna be a smeg to colour in :? .. mdogg.. im busy :D . I didn't think you liked my style neway..
