sorry it all looks too flat, bad perspective.. And the shading is too simple, you've just copied over objects and coloured them different too, seems very rushed.. not worth the 7, 3 or 2 mill prizes..

legs aren't too long and I want the tail like that, :wink:

looks very plain atm, the characters are good but could use more shading, add some mountains or hills in the back to make it more interesting.. 5/10 cus the characters are nifty

very serious, dull.. not much too it.. looks like his arm is back to front, and his eye is too far up his head.. My advice would be to draw out what you want to achieve before hand, make sure you get your characters right and the layout isn't too flat, imagine your actually there, even imagine where you see things and from what perspective... Once you've planned out the sig concentrate on certain parts and built it up until your happy with it. Most people start with a character and treat it like one project until theyre happy with it and then start to draw out a background which helps you maintain the quality without the image. :wink: keep tryin tho mate, and don't use gradient shading.

you dun need loads of colours cus I doubt anyone needs such a wide selection as it won't make their work any better, and I doubt there are many people here who would know to use true colour theory.. It won't make you a better artist.

Paint, is the only thing I've ever used.. Never seen the point of having to buy or download anything for such a result, maybe if it was for something more than a sig that could result in a greater proffit I'd think of getting a more reliable program. 8) but yeah I agree with Quer, I wouldn't depend on the program to make you a better pixeler cus at the end of the day the drawings all down to you.. A bad farmer always blames his tools (a metaphor btw, aint saying your all farmers :? ) The problem I find with photoshop for pixeling is people tend to cheat a lot on it, add unecissery effects and use brushing instead of manual shading.. Its not how the true pixelers do it and I doubt it can be considered pixel art. I wouldn't try make people use other programs tho, they all do the same thing, just using a different approach..

thats amazin, great pose, managed to add a texture to something plus the shading to quality, which would just confuse me to hell doin manually.. The skin is a bit light and shade-less but you explained that so shut up Terley :o ... The face is perfect, dunno why Lowgravity says she has a big nose :? ,, its small, perfect for a girl. Im kinda disapointed its not pure pixel but sayin that im sure you don't care about being pure, not many people are anyways 8) .. I sometimes add tweaks when I dun get the right effects. Keep up the good work :D !! (Im up to the end baddie on p.o.p the warrior within/revelations on PC,PS2 and PSP.. Just can't do itt.. the rest of the game is eassy but the end woman is just mind bogglin.. just could be cus im mank at fighting or blockin.. :lol: )

yeah I've noticed that too, was trying to make it look like a 2 handed sword but it looked too chunky and unreal, I'll shorten it. :wink:

Im making a quick minigame called 'Coffee Addict' about this guy whos just hit his lunch break and will do anything for coffee, gonna be in an office environment and you gotta control Ian as he fights his way through fellow employees to escape the building and reach the Coffee shop across the street 8) . When im done with the game i'll try get it playable for you guys :P . Any ideas? crits?

well einstein is outdated now because hes long dead if u remember history lesons he believed in the theory of relitivity and he was wrong so i guess there are alot of ppl smarter than him nowdays

But there still aren't infinite planets According to einstein, it's impossible to travel faster than light isn't it? If you're in a car going 50, and theres a car thats passing you going 60, he's going 10 mph/kph faster than you, relatively. But apparantly with light, it's still going 300,000 kms faster than you, regardless of your speed. na it is possible to go faster than the speed of light.. just not physically posible for us yet..
