yeah I am making sigs, but atm I got loads to do so you may wanna wait a week before ordering something.. ms paint is easy to use, don't understand why people find it hard.. seriously.. it's the only thing I've ever used since I started pixeling last year, must just be used to it.. Anyways im gonna make a tutorial soon, I've saved the progress of each sig I've made step by step, and Im gonna try cover everything possible.. Cheers Quer, critisism helps alot. :wink:

tiny update on 1st post, gonna just colour it in like tha.

looks enspired by Random's character, would look nice if you shaded it in and sorted out the proportions.

well I don't know anything about armour, weapons or shields.. Just guess work.. It was worth a go..

wha? shut up and stop spamming, just cus you think her hair's too long doesn't mean I just say 'ok i'll start again..'. It is a girl, just thought it shouldn't look too feminine as she's suppose to be a warrior, I was going to work on the chest area while shading it to make it lump out more.. young teenagers don't have giant (you know whats..).. But maybe I just make her much more feminine? with the face and figure, yeah i'll work on tha now.. Dam I always get something major wrong :lol:

well I had this character for a pixel sig but it just looked rubish resized and the background was just awful so I decided to pixel it as it was, plus I recon it'd look much better this size.. quick colouring, no shading yet. any comments?, all welcome.

Made a logo for the company too, just done on paint but will be remade in vector and on photoshop to be used on other things. Called XRgamer still working on that city thing, gonna be on the website like this.

I like it, you've got the basics right, good image, decent shading, nice layout and a pretty good border to finish it up.. Im sure if you kept at it you could be like your idol, but remember not to simply copy him, what works for him may not work for you and most of the time you'll be just mimicing him. Try develop your own style, and enjoy what you do. 7/10 from me, well done :) gl in the future. ~ Ter

for my brothers website, gonna be at the top as an image.. Gonna colour it in and spend ages making it look good. Still not added everything, need to put people in, already one or two there now. Also I think I gotta have a tanker or some trucks somewhere cus you wouldn't just see cars , will make em look different anyways when I colour em in.. you think anything needs changing about it? Tried to get the scale of everything as close to right as possible. Still adding to it btw, not done the pavements (sidewalk's, to all you americans..)

I don't get ya Keb, but as mrxman posted an example of a castle wars sig I may as well post one of mine, just an older one of outside it. I didn't like this one tho cus the people suck and the bridge is screwed. Don't compare it to the standards of xmans.. :cry:

sweet, tablets are pretty handy and it's good to see your using it ok, also great to see someone else posting a self portrait, wish people weren't so ashamed of themselves to post an image (I know actual photos aren't allowed but im sure art is ok.). Looking great and im sure you'll touch up areas that need more attention, ears look a bit like coliflowers atm and the neck looks a bit sore.. But the face is mint, very detailed and lifelike, just hope you can get the hair right cus its gonna be pretty tricky. :wink: goodluck ~Ter

your best bet is to start with ms paint, every pc has it. just resize the screen to 300x150 and start practicing, take your time and don't post it until your happy, take in every bit of critisism you get and don't let any bad comments stop you pixeling, your only gonna get better. If you need a tutorial just look up some of these made by existing pixel artists here. might help ya if you get stuck. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=100097 but its basically about having fun, don't do it to just get rich otherwise you won't. Don't ask me to pick 3 cus they're all great in their own particular ways. No order. DementedHero - very original and superb work, would love to see more pixel work from him. TJ - Very happy cartoony work, visually amazing but could use some hand lessons. Random - Very clean work, Looks as pixel art should be, from the word go was creating quality work. Misterxman - Very friendly and talented person, contant worker and shows no bad attitude even with the constant complaints that he's getting worse (yeah right :roll: ).. Will always be almong the best, has been my idol since the beginning Godslayer - A very opinionated guy, very talented but would rather he didn't think as much of himself, he name has kinda got to his head. Quer Skulll - Taught me how to shade properly, always loved his work way before I knew how to pixel. teenagelooser - great guy and great at making sigs, pitty he hasn't made anything in a while. princessa9 - always loved her style and characters though I've never had the chance to get to know her :cry: Jabraulter - remember some quite good stuff from him, always improvin. smellysocks - weird style but he spends a lot of time on his sigs. shoulda got more support than he got, could potentially be really good. kinkydave - an amazing sense of detail and effort, though he should move away from pillow shading in places, and darkening things too much. Some others that come to mind is Blazer, Chunk 04, Punkage, Sir Alex Anyone else I haven't mentioned is prolly down to me not knowing them or simply forgetting, if so sorry :( ~Ter

don't diss tip.it cus your can't figure out how to do a simple task, you copied a hosted thumnail, cus your sig is over the recommended size limitation. Tip.it allows 300x150 as a sig size and yours is 613x242 so wouldn't even work here.. If you wanted it as a normal size image don't copy the thumnail, copy the right one. Im actually glad you couldn't get it working cus that sig aint that great im afraid, a lot of wasted space, distortion, rushed and use of a buddy.. yeah I know I look a bit cross eyed there, just probably down to guessing, as I've mentioned we're not alowed to plan anything out before hand litterally just painting as we see, no pencil involved at all. The black thing on the watermelon is a seed, kinda bled a bit into the rest of the painting because it basically working wet into wet, shoulda let it dry a bit before putting a black spot on it. Btw your not even allowed to use black paint because in real life black doesn't exist, what you see is a dark tone, or a man-made colour from dark browns and blues. Same for white, basically just a tint made from chalk from what I've been told.. Thx for the comments, glad to see im on the right tracks.. On the record (I've probably said this before) These are the only water colour paintings I've ever done, so any mistakes would be down to just inexperience. will post some more soon, I fancy doing a better self portrait cus that was painting was on a tiny scale (bout the size of a CD).. And I wanna try my hand at doing tricky like a glass of water or something. ~Ter

very nice effective graphics, text works well too.. just maybe add some AA (anti aliasing), adding lighter softer colours around parts to smoothen it off without making it look blurry. Ask Godslayer Im sure he'll help ya out cus I've never gone into it fully.

nice, yeah very original but the faces and proportions need a lot of work, don't rush, if something doesn't look like that don't draw it in that way.. The guy on the far left mostly lets it down cus his face is very abstract compared to everyone else's, and his arm looks snaped backwards. On the plus side I recon you've done the classroom amazingly well, nice floorboards and the chairs look fine.. just need to work on people more, best practicing drawing from primary and secondary sources. I'll be looking forward to more from you.
