I've seen people use an abstract background with a pixel character at the front, so if anyone wants to use this i'd be happy to let em. was just a illustration to show someone how to make a character but I recon I got a bit carried away :P . ~Ter

oh sorry quer he asked me on msn to help im, so I did my own drawin to show how I'd do it.. sorry if I tredded on your help, didnt know u were helpin him. someone said it looks like my character has a hunchback, its a hood thingie, from the castle wars :cry: . I wanted to make im look rockerish, just a cool guy. you see the proportions are wrong and he looks broken and twisted in places.. The head looks a bit oval and creepy and his hands are tinie weenie, I dnt know what you were doing with the waist but it'd look weird even if you did it well. hope you can see anythin from mine that'll help ya, atb ~ Ter

oh im a student here at the uk, just started college (im 16, in england thats when we start). . im doing a graphic design course which is pretty easy, I was expecting some really decent artists there but they're all stuggling :lol: . Ive been working as a assistant chef at a hotel on the weekends for the last year but I gotta say its really boring, Im probably gonna try find a better job soon cus I hate cooking, and I hate washin dishes more :x . I've basically got a steady life atm, nothin really exiting ever happens for me. except for last week, just found out that my mates girl's dad is a main animator for the Gorillaz :shock: .. I was like OMFG when he told me, showed me all of his work 8) . To people who don't know im trying to become an animator so meeting someone like that is like an ammature footballer meeting a pro.. :D :D :D :D

oh I didn't wanna make the background buildings more than just silhoetted shapes, I tried it, and it kinda made the sig look a bit too crampt and crowded.. also I learnt after making a sig for mdogg that I needed i needed more of a centered feature about the sig. In this being the 5 trick or treaters in the garden of some old man. :lol: I wanted it to be packed with people, I got 10 characters 2 animals, 2 gnomes and a real witch in the back :shock: .. so thats enough.. I wasn't plannin on making this the sig of the century or anything, was just something fun for me to do so it doesn't have to be perfect, cus no one is :P.. thx for the comments ~ Ter

verry good princessa :shock: , I gotta say type of digital art looks much more professional then pixel art, cus theres so much to it.. 10/10 from me. a comment and rating is what everyone's givin so far so im gonna be different and ask a question, what do you do for a living? any illustration work or do you just something you do for fun? oh thats suppose to be some guy in a rubbish looking bunny wabbit costume, thought look more obvious as a stupid lookin costume, more so than a pikachu one, that looked really weird on the sig. I'll be workin on it more soon gotta go to bed now tho :wink: .

aw cmn, TJ.. maybe you should be more critical on who you take orders from, like from someone you know is genuine.. you should even do it just for the fun of it, i've been havin fun with my shop and ive sold like 3 out of the last 10 custom sigs made, too much scammin and lying when you mess around with runescape, could just be me being unlucky.. Thats a great sig, makes you wanna examine it closer which is why Ryan went out of his way to spot a flaw :lol: , it is very unique tho and would prove to be a difficult scene to construct in pixel, you pulled it off very well. I recon cus people have seen so many great pixel sigs especially from you they are eventually becoming very critical of anything in pixel world, no one's perfect, and no one has the time to become better and better after every sig, which is why I think people are saying misterxmans gettin worse, he aint, just probably wants to do something different for once, that plastic armour comment was probably just somethin xman wanted to try out.. sticking to the same style with everything just limits you to being only able to do the one thing, people like to experiment. shame on Boogie, no one deserves poor trust, especially not TJ (havin proven to be an honest hard workin guy, jake im lookin at you :wink: ). Nothin about havin special treatment for being a good pixeler, simply for being known as a decent guy 8) . goodluck in the future TJ. ~Ter

Hey thx Swarm :D , glad to know people still like my work. Just wanna add I don't use photoshop to make pixel sigs just paint, just cus u mentioned you've done some brushing. all in paint 8) . you still do some signature work? If so I hope to see some of your work too :).

yeah I agree with venomai, looks very spritish (that a word?? :? ), if your gonna add people in to that sig I'd suggest you research some sprite characters cus that they would really suit it.. though I can see they're both at different angles, that on purpose? you might find it difficult to make that work. great so far though :) ~Ter

Just sketch anything that comes to mind, doesn't have to be the idea of the century cus the sig quality is gonna be determained on how well you do. heres some examples of my ideas just sketched out, you'll recognise them from recent sigs. It's really up to you what you come up with, you'll come out with better stuff then if someone told you an idea you half liked.. Just try this out. ~Ter
