It's nice to see you've decided to do a gal for a change, I dun know why it's soo hard for guys to draw women, just maybe because guys are more familiar with how guys look for the simple reason of that they're guys :? .. Some people when they come to draw women make them seem too manly or to extreme, the more talented drawers fall down the trap of making every woman look exectly the same (big boobs and hourglass figure :lol: ).. just see any manga cartoon (phht, I just feel like a perv watching anything like that). you've got the basics right with this one (long hair, clothing and a rack obviously), but keeping to your style I think this still looks a bit male-ish.. it's mainly the fact that the face is a lil bit too wide, as is the shoulders and you need some hint of a figure.. maybe the picture below will help ya.. But don't copy that cus then it won't be your style and you little characters are pretty neat, maybe just give it a skinnier face and not so broad shoulders and it should look much more like a female.. I would do it like that, if that'd look better? I hope that helps ~ Ter

actually pretty good, the character youve done looks really professional and cartoony which is really sweet. Its a great Idea to plan your sigs out on paper first cus your relying more on your pencil to paper skills and help a lot for when you come to draw it onto pixel. Keep at it looks like your gonna get 10's all round :wink: .

heheh that was my brother again, god damitt.. :x

Long before I started pixeling, me (Martin Bailey) and my brother (Peter Bailey) played runescape, I had a character called Pure tinytwo and Peter had one called Mary Popp.. Many of his friends called him Terley (Pe'ter' Bai'ley') so he created an account on this forum and kind of got into abstract signature art, later on he quit and stopped visiting the forums.. After a while I got to browsing tip.it forums and decided to have a go at pixeling cus it seemed a lot of fun, posted it on my brothers forum account 'Terley' and got hooked, I guess ive adopted that name though the original Terley (who can't pixel to save his life) just plays WoWc and Battlefield2 now and then, I don't think he's interested in runescape anymore.. I guess Peter (Mary Popp) sometimes posts things on this account cus to him the name is still his which I can see is very confusing from time to time, I (Martin Bailey) gave my runescape character away a long time ago so to recieve any sort of payment I used his character. We're twins believe it or not so we do use eachothers things cus we're just like mates (though we do argue) but the recent Terley (me) has nothing to do with a 'sister', I don't have a sister only a twin and 2 elder brothers so I wouldn't know what your talking about :? .. Maybe it was my brother joking around because since I started here pixeling i've only been myself.. My brother doesn't visit here anymore so I'd just forget anything about him, the Terley you know and love is all me :lol:, all the pixel work.. And to be honest I've got a future planned in art so Im pretty happy calling the media section a home 8) , my brother is just gonna be a policeman.. that make sense? :wink: .. Just think of it as I took over his forum account when he stopped visiting and on very rare occasions he'll post back to browse the forum (which is kind of stupid cus that just confuses people). Oh and btw Im the older twin by an hour, though we're basically the same age he treats me like im a year or two older than him (suppose im just more mature and smarter than him, I look out for him alot) and I treat him like a younger brother so I just say he's my little brother :lol: . And yeah I have a 13 year old cousin who just got addicted to runescape a few months ago so I give him all my pixel profit and at first my brother too but he as I said he quit :). I favour Azvareth's sigs, just look clean and professional cus messy backgrounds can just be pointless most of the time. Some of his best work just rocks 8) .

yeah maybe I ruined it by not being able to shade capes :lol:, ill work on it. I dun think the proportions are off at all its just supposed to be a character from behind lifting his cape up, I wanted it to be cartoony cus its soo boring trying to make it look like in rl..

Godslayer didn't want me to use the avvy he made meh anymore so I just decided to make a quick one, ive never really perfected how I do folds and shadowing on capes but it had to be done if I were to represent a 'Dark wizard robe' (my postcount).. still version .PNG animated version .gif well u think it's negood? kinda something different yet still cartoony.. ~Ter

I think something deeper like a baby smoking to show that when they breathe our smoke they too are smoking would work better cus I recon that 90% of people here would love to see humpty smoke himself to death.. Unless you smoke or have smoked in the past and quit I wouldn't be so kean to try save the world from the dangers of smoking. yeah its a pretty poor picture too but cudos for being concerned about not only yourself, some people just dun care.

yeh wouldn't blame ya, best thing to do is to look up sceneries from google or neother search engines and try make it more true to rl.
