like tah? basically where the horizon line is and what the farmer in the back would look like.. or did you want him further away? the purpleness is were the sky should be, if you want those square field thingies in that way you'd have to figure out how they would look in accordance to the horizon line.

well all id say is i would have to practice a few times before I could get this type of art as good as you all expect it to be, just cus u people say im good at pixeling dun mean im great at everything else art related.. I wouldn't say I like this picture either cus well iv'e only ever been pleased with my animatated work, but, I just thought it would be interesting to show you people that im not just limited to the one area of art.. I like to experiment, try new things even if the result is a failure, it's really the only way anyone gets better cus otherwise its like being able to paint the one painting really easily to perfection yet not being able to paint anything else cus you haven't done it b4.. As a result of experimenting ive come to a quick way of pixeling that works for me, I think I've finally cracked being able to draw proportioned characters, my quality is increased and most importantly I wouldn't be scared trying to do most requests cus I feel I could do them pretty confidently. fanzoo, people tend to like different things according to their own opinions and from tttia's work I guess I really like this art tho yeah it can be blurry in places but thats ok :D , it's nice to do other things. I might as well do more of that isometric city thing but im starting college soon and people all want work from meh :? . Cornman, yeh I now know about layers but thx neway. I said I made the character in photoshop but I didn't want to do the background yet cus 1, I didn't know about layers (honestly I dun know much about photoshop) and 2, It was like 1am when I came to the end of this (too tired :lol: ). blazer your totally right, its not great but u gotta give meh some cred for tryin something for the first time :( .. well I quickly made another sketch in pixel, like 2 mins or something doing it and I just decided to try colour it in using photoshop like tttia does.. I wouldn't say it was a good drawing cus it was rushed and its honestly a first colouring it in like that so really im just wonderin what yall think about it.. I dun think I did the party hat very well, the armour could be better and parts of the face could be improved too.. I couldn't be bothered doing a background cus I was too concerned of always painting onto the character, too fidgetty :P . He's wearing full rune, a blu party hat, cape and has a iron woodcutting axe out of his backpack (inventory?!?).. just if neone askes, yeah the phat looks very light to be blue and too blue to be white.. wteva. :D well I hope it looks good *closes eyes and raises hand to head in defence of bad comments*.. ~Ter

I honestly dont think you need a tutor.. u look like you should basically just look at how some pixel artists make theres and just try and use what you know to simply make your sigs better, it doesn't seem like you like to use solid lines which is questionably 'not pixel' cus most people tend to try stay in respects to 'true pixel' pieces they've seen in the past.. some like to try use isometric pixel art to help them and some tend to instead use pixel art from well known games to help them.. just examples of what people may look at for references.. bad choices?? wtever :x heheh it was all I could find... If ya wanna take up pixel art u may wanna look up how to make 'pure pixel' art, otherwise I think you'd just be great doin another type of art, maybe painting or if ya wanna do it on the pc try doing propper pictures on like photoshop or somethin..

does neone think sponge bob is sendin hidden messages to kids? cus most people over the age of 18 just dun understand ne of it :lol:, neway I watch that from time to time but some episodes just freak me out as did ren and stimpy.. mind u I dun watch much tv when ya think about it, great tribute sig tho.

very nice wip, 6/10 so far but you really need to work on cleaning up the linework, you shouldn't just draw the sig with the pencil tool cus it looks really messy like here for example. try keep it clean, I just cleaned that bit up for ya. Looks nicer and its much easier to colour and shade, Adding more colour would help cus so far it looks as if its gonna be very b&w :lol: . Red robe may help, make sure you make some cool swirly clouds in the sky or even an orangey sky like its early in the mornin :wink: .. people have bin flamed for the one flaw of having just a blank blue sky is why I say that.

I really wouldn't know where to start, really sorry that I didn't enter or guess I just lost myself looking at them.. I think its just beyond 'a little bit of fun' when some people have to take their time working really hard for the fun, 90% of people here are under 13 and just hate working. It's seriously almost impossible to guess who made what unless there are some slight giveaways like if princessa made one she'd put a lil gerbil somewhere whatever art form she chose. people have styles they tend to use and with photography and terragens (that right spelling?) the styles usually disappear so it's trying to figure out whats behind a brick wall without any cracks or holes to help you see through (good example?).

then im guessing it may be your version :?, I got photoshop version 0.7 so probably somethin to do with that, though I wouldn't see the point of an animating program without gifs..

oh you wanted a picture for reference? well just type 'cloak' into google but here ya go neway :? . Don't copy the red thingies on that cloak cus they just suck, if ya wanna draw it with a hood up make it so you can see the mouth and have the rest of the face in black shadow.

THE PICTURE EXPLAINS IT ALL!! Well yeah, when you've sorted your animation with the correct time rate for each frame just go to file then down to 'save optimised as' you get the option of saving it as a gif that you can host on http://www.putfile.com (imageshack didn't let me host that pic above so I dunno if its broken :? ..). Make sure your animation isn't too long cus when you save it, sure it optimises it, but it's still a real pain trying to keep it to the same size limits as a everyday picture, I gave up tryin with one sig cus I could only get it to 32kb :x ... ~Ter

ahhh Ive sussed pixel art but when it comes to abstact imo work it just looks cheesy and fake if you know what I mean :( .. they just rock man, seriously I've always been able to do anything art related so easily but this is just... well hard would be the word :wink: . And the more I try the better other people's work looks, im guessing it'd be knowing the in's and out's of the program your using and being able to make any effect you want without having to test for hours till you get it :x . 10/10 but I dunno if it'd be a good Idea to use a different text for your 2nd one, when you see the two together people would probably prefer the 1st cus the text goes better with it (is that the same text or just really similar?).. ~Ter

well Ive come to really hate how some people have really dark screens cus they have rubbish monitors or just like it dark, I got a really bright hi-res flatscreen thingie so that picture was clear as pie when I first saw it.. You people with dark screens musn't be able to see anythin :? cus a lot of games I've played like wowc and knights of the old republic need me to have a bright screen to be able to see everything... but I suppose its really just what your used to :lol:. I love that Kane, really creepy :shock: .. lil blurry but Im guessing thats on purpose, lil question tho, did ya take that picture yourself cus I was gonna add what a freaky lookin wrist you got there.. ~Ter

Not much to say on early wips but what I can say is very nice linework and concept so far, I can see that this will be another sucessful pixel sig so gl :) . One question though, have you always done that style? cus I dun think ive even seen a character like that from you before :? very nice though, the clothing is lookin to be very nice and I especially like how you've drawn the hands. I see an animation coming, or would that be too hard? :? just would look boss to have just the blue wavey swirls move, very magical :o . ~Ter

Very nice Punkage, I wouldn't think that it'd be a crime to love your style 8) and yeah, I do. very cartoony and eyecatching :lol:. For crits as people have said it may help to add a few wavey clouds and add more of a texture to the trees cus they look very smooth, also Ive noticed theres no shadows :? is that cus you forgot or just figured it'd look better without? well very well done, nothing wrong with the linework and you've coloured and shaded it in a great way which suits your art style :) . 9/10 cus I love that style :o

aw thats sly :( , I suppose if I must :x ... its a very well drawn character and you've definately improved with faces, the skin tones are perfect from what I can see though the lips look a little out of place. all in all 9/10 cus just saying '10/10's jooz p00nz teh world!!' isn't that realistic :lol:

very scary, theres still a lot u'll have to pick up to achieve a 'great' pixel sig but your definately producing some good stuff.. Though im a lil concerned why your characters are all chest and no legs :lol: , well I like it a lot so ill give it a 6/10.. keep it up :D
