Well Its very well done, if worst comes to ware you can always buy a cheap pack of cards and just take a photo of them in that position :lol: nothin wrong wit that. proabably made more to suit a white forum bg rather than the subblack (is it?) board style, a bit bitty around the cards on that style. good non the less 8/10 cus its a good consept, ive neva played poker b4.. how very odd :) .

I personally don't think renders look bad if they're done well but I agree 100% with the whole 'stealing images is wrong!!' thing, though millions of people around the world im sure wouldn't be bothered :?, its not like they'll arrest or charge the millions of people doing it :lol: . The best thing to do is to simply not do it yourself and advice not force people to do the same, I would still love to see some sigs with renders made by the signature artists but I don't think most of these people can do that good graphics without the aid of a program like photoshop, theyre not necessarily artists so I wouldn't expect most to go out of their way to try make their own.. I like your work very much Vivi :D no matter what people say, Ive tried sig making a few times and I see how hard it is at times, I just plain suck at it.. If these people are correct by saying renders make sigs look bad then if you make one without any I bet it'll look just amazing 8) .. I'll be watching to see. yeah a hood would be sweet but I really wanted it down cus people tend to do them like this when theyre up, Kind of a Kenny/KKK thing goin on there.. If you put it down it can show the hair which would kinda put the face into a shadowed look :? .. You can always search for a pic in google to help ya with the cloak :D.

not really a quality sig to crit cus we'd just be talkin about rs2 graphic wouldn't we, but still it'd be a nice sig for ya to use if you wanted to show of your mime :lol: , congratz non the less.

I dont think there will be many people willing to just make you graphics cus, I too am making a game (not just one of those games which never get made) and i've been training by making pixel sigs for the past year or so until I think im happy that ill be able to make it look professional. Im working with my brother so Im not thinking of getting paid and im not doing any coding work cus I wouldn't know were to start (he's 25 and has been working with coding for the past 10 years). To get someone to do that much work you'd have to pay them quite a lot, not just give credit :? . Find someone who you are willing to trust, maybe someone that you can go see every day cus its not a good idea asking someone half way accross the world to do that sort of work. ~Ter

well actually it looks similar to your character in that sig your using so you might as well be sayin that to your character too, his shadin is much better and its actually pretty good and cartoony :D . anatomy doesnt really matter when it comes to cartoons but I still think you should make the skin less 'orangey' and maybe add something behind the back fence cus it just looks like its the edge of the world there or somethin.. 7/10 tho still, a lot to be changed to make it 'great'.

paint is all you ever need, Ive never made a pixel signature outside mspaint and im sure that the quality of your work doesn't depend on the quality of your program. Take some of the best ones you've seen out there, 90% of them are made on paint cus people tend to try use brushing and effects on programs like photoshop, its better to do it manually cus your then only relying on your own abilities instead of your pc's. Ive heard 'graphics gale' is awesome to make pixel sigs tons of great artists have been using it for a while, I can't be bothered to download it :P but yeah try get hold of that. If you wanna experiment with something try ask some people for spare linework (non coloured in pixel art) and practice colouring techniques and shading and maybe you'll pick up on how to draw better character whilst working with their work, if you want better characters the best thing to do is to first look up anatomy on google or http://www.alltheweb.com (I prefer cus more picture come up :P) and also search for clothing brands and maybe look in catalogues to help you become better at drawing how clothing hangs on our bodies (creases, folds etc). from then if you want to be able to draw cartoony just simply adapt your own style from cartoons you've seen and maybe look how other pixelers have pulled off their styles in pixel. you can always pm for advice, im sure there a few people will be willing to answer any queries you have :wink: . Oh and just totally forget buddy kits cus even if you pulled it off really professionally you'll get flamed for ages just for the fact that its a buddy, at most just make your own but still people may not be too keen on it. ~ Ter

it wouldn't really cus the characters are only ever in one position and making a pixel sig with no action and using characters seen millions of times before makes em just boring, theres nothing wrong with buddies its just its just past its time and people tend to wanna see something new and better. you'll probably get better ratings and produce better sigs making your own characters its true :).. if your english maybe you've heard of the crazy frog, everyone hates it cus too many people seemed to like it at once and now that its been ages since then and the popularity of it has died down its just annoying to know that people still wanna try bring it up again. if that makes sense :D . its basically the same concept for buddy kits, people just use em as short cus to making sigs.

the signature size limitation for this site is 300x150 so in ms paint just click on image at the top (along with File edit and view) and then go on attributes and you can set the screen size to 300 length and 150 height (look at the thumnails above :) ).. just draw on that size until you've done something pretty decent and save it as a PNG format, only a png format cus it maintains the quality and keeps at a good filesize (jpg distorts it, bmp makes it a giant filesize and a gif on paint makes the picture loose colours and you dont want that :S). Go to http://www.imageshack.us to host the signature and after youve browsed the saved PNG file signature copy this over into your profile or into any forum post to show the image. Of course there are a load of tutorials and threads about how to do all this, try http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=100097 good info there and some tutorial links at the bottom.. not really nice is it to say it sucks.. Its actually ok but the background just makes it look very cheesy cus its not the best of swords, very nice design but you could do with practicing on how to make the sword look shiney and the handle look golder and silverier. Try doing smaller pixel pictures cus its hard to put so much detail into a canvas that size, id give it a 4/10 cus there isn't much detail in it though the shading in places is generally ok. ~Ter

well im not using them ya see, theyre only stupid test characters cus I would never in a million years use characters that looked like that.. Its a bit weird that your deconstructing the test characters cus as I said they took a few seconds to do and were just copied and pasted around the city so I could see if the sizes would look ok, in an isometric city the sizes are the same everywhere so theres no 'getting further away' and so everything is basically in one view sizes. some iso pix? http://www.pixelzentrum.de/graphics/pix ... ockpsd.gif http://www.pixelzentrum.de/graphics/pix ... arking.gif http://www.pixelzentrum.de/graphics/pixels/newyork.gif thats what they usually tend to look like but I figured it would be sweet to apapt it to my own style, yeh the actual characters on my will definately be smaller they the test characters.

ahh it burns!! a 2nd sig and it owns a lot :D , honestly its really good but you gotta remember to pick up pixeling techniques cus you cant just draw in paint to make it a pixel piece, I know you have loads of experience from your other non pixel related art so I guess thats really helped ya for when it comes to pixeling but try look at challenging yourself.. take a look at godslayers doin, limiting himself to less colours and trying to do 'true' pixel art, but thats just id you wanna do that cus if you keep this up you'll just rock :shock: . theres no 'right way' to do it so please just experiment as much as you can if you wanna be great at pixel sigs.. could probably add more into that picture but don't clutter it, and use friendlier tones for colouring cus some tend to clash terribly from what Ive found. 9/10 ~ Ter

well I was gonna say make the text bigga but its bin said already so Ill just give a comment, I like it a lot mainly cus I suk at abstracts (that what its called??) and its better than I can do but thats probably cus I've never really tried cus it just looks so complicated to do :?.. with these sorta sigs you don't need renders do ya cus it would probably make it worse so its probably a good example of decent signature work, i give it a 8/10 compared to ones Ive seen, still some things to work on cus no ones perfect :). wd ~ ter

I do not understand a word of that particular language in which you are currently speaking to me , it would probably be because I usually talk in a full and understandable manner which you do not. I am preferably turned towards talking full and correct English speak though I really do see how your short snappy slang may be much easier and quicker to comprehend in certain occasions as speaking fully like this may be a bit of a bore from time to time and at most probably worth ignoring to the fullest. :shock: wow that sorta just came to meh then 'left eye twitches' well I love those comics, very cartoony and makes runescape fun again for me, which is sorta odd as I swore to myself to never find it entertaining again 8) .. And that 2nd one just boggles my mind, seriously what does that say? wtever, flippin funny comic you got der. !!!!!9/10!!!!!
