THIS IS ONLY A TEST!! NOTHING ADDED HERE WILL BE USED!! well thats how I figured the sizes to be, kinda like typical isometric cities you know? but theyre really the max sizes id want them to be, like the biggest of cars would look that big and the tallest of men looked like that :?.. Ive not started any characters so please stop me if the sizes look too bad. heh theres a first time for everything and, yeh, my first isometric anythin... i was hoping of drawing certain types of cars, not rubbish ones like in that pic above ^^^, so remember im gonna make the cars and people smaller than that. looking at this test im definately gonna look at changing the sizes of people and cars aswell as the door sizes and parking spots 8). if at first you dont succeed try try again :D .. 'cheesy alert'

update anyone?? Im not gonna add any people in yet cus ill probably have to figure out the right sizes for the city first, wouldnt want something to be twice as big as you'd see in rl :wink: .. for people who thought the sign meant that the shop was a mcd's maybe without it you can see that its my shop :o !! Only a small time buissiness shop cus im not the best pixeler out der :). I fixed the parking (disabled is wider for more space), added a rippers prison and started adding 'run down shops' down the rune village road.. - Another major thing is im tryin to make the windows look see-through, I worked for ages doing that so I hope it looks real enough 8), the skylight thingie took a while cus its very fidgetly. Still any more idea's would be nice :D crits will be welcome. one of the ripper's have escaped!

This is what it would look like straight into deep water, the water goes really dark and dense. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ coral would look like this from above the water, i would be quite deep from the dock cus fish worth fishing don't usually come into shallow water, tuna for instance usually stay away from land and in the rarest of occasions swim to land in the few on a calm day. In a place like karajama island you may find a lot of colourful fish, tons of coral life (see finding nemo, the anenome and other coral things) a sword fish is very rare and you would only really see them in deep water, maybe around underwater wrecks and genually around places were you wouldn't find much 'man'. You see we disturb them :).. If that helps.. though it wont be that busy cus its a fishing spot.. My advice would be try to make it as true to real life as possible cus runescape doesnt make that much sense, like where exactly is our inventory? runescape is just adapted for game purposes so it would be hard to draw some runescape related things without some questions..

just to say thats not mcdonalds, its my shop :(.. just a mcdonalds sign stuck on the side of it for advertising, I wracked my brain for ages tryin to think of what to put on the billboard but I suppose as mcdonalds is unpopular Ill just have to advertise something else like my shop :? ?!? the idea was to have my pixel shop as a small corner shop as I have my shop on both tip.it and runevillage and im not 'the best pixeler' so the better you are at sig making the bigger and more advanced your shop would be... I like the ideas and ill try live up to your expectations of the city, but I still have my sigs to complete for my shop so ill have to wait until considering your idea venomai.

Thats a mcdonalds sign, where I live you tend find billboards in form of big posters just stuck on the side of buildings. I suppose it should advertise my shop shouldn't it? may change that.. The cars are gonna be 2 tiles long (if you see the pavement) I made the parking that big so theres space to open the doors :P, if theres anything that looks odd please tell me cus Im knida new to making cities heh, i was gonna add a lot to it you know kinda build it up till it looks like a pretty busy place.. People queing up outside the shops, a range of cars (which will be pretty hard) and a lot of random funny things happening, cus its tip.it.. you can expect anything :lol: . I may also make the screen bigger, expand the community so please, if you want me to make you a shop ill be happy to add it in :D. MXM Studios it is

oh godslayer you said that you wanted to do a collab sometime, maybe you could make more of the city? though it could be weird having a selection of styles :S.. I was just messin around with isometric so if you just wanna collab on something else maybe it could just be the usual where u draw a character and I draw a background, which is what I initially thought :o .. or maybe you could draw some random characters for this city? heh maybe you standing outside your shop and me outside mine :S gotta be iso tho.. well the shops were originally supposed to be signature shops but I suppose I could add other shops too :shock: , sounds great..

omgs very nice Aeriathy :D nothing particularly wrong with this sig but yeh your missing some waves and reflection in the water, its a quite large view of the water so you'd expect to see maybe some cloud reflections and maybe being able to see some fish swimming around? its a nice lightsource choice, makes it seem as if its really sunny (around mid day or sumit?) but your still missing some shadows from under the platform thingie, and maybe try not to use a black outline for that skeleton character cus it kinda looks outa place with the rest of the sig tho it could just be that its a wip and youve just not done it yet :S ?? well exellent improvement from what I can see but make sure you add some darker tones into the sand and highlights on the water to bring it to life :wink: .. 7/10 so far cus im just in a happy mood :D!

well my pc broke somehow and I had to get something major replaced, I dun know much about computer's so I couldnt explain what happened but I do know I didnt loose any files :D!.. I did have a pc tho during this time but it's much older and it has no internet so I guess ive been just tryin to make the most of my times on paint, here is just a little pixel city thingie I was working on 8) im just wondering what shops to put in, theyre blank atm.. I got my shop, and im gonna put teenageloosers next to mine down the tip.it road but I have no clue about who's else to put in, maybe a highly known pixel artists shop at the end (the one that looks like a supermarket, with parking :lol: ).. #Update? If u have any suggestions just post, and to all my customers Ive not been doing this instead of your sigs.. Ive just been on another pc with no information to help me do any, ill be working very hard to try get em all done. ive said it once and ill say it again, im only human so please don't expect my life to go perfectly :wink: .

I wouldnt say that pixeling is childish, your on a forum made from an online game set for 12 year olds, your gonna get 12 year olds making pixel work :? theres no argument there.. I prefer pixeling because abstract seriously gets repetitive, no cus I cant do it, just seems like textured effects with a picture stolen from the internet stuck on.. Pixel signatures require much more creativity and imagination, I agree that abstract sigs do require a lot of work but theres something different when it comes to pixel sigs, you can develop a style, set a scene and make it entertaining to look at :D.. Theres no argument here, just a load of opinions :lol: .. just cus people draw cartoons in pixel doesnt make it chidish, thats just your opinion.. And the 'pixel crase' isnt a crase its just a type of digital art :? , people have simply found out that they can make easy signatures on paint, its not like a fad were its really popular for a month or two then it goes away just see it like its always been around its only just started to attract young artists.

He's not finished the ground below, for you people who think he's just fallen over this should answer your troubles. maybe bluring the ground below may make it look far down, just select it on photoshop and alter the contrast.. it may be a short cut but Im guessin that would be a lot of work for you trying to do it all manually. (on the record I do it all in paint 8) )

I dun know if people can still join or not Nuzza, almost everyone has finished so it would be awkward trying to find someone to pair you up with cus its supposed to be a surprise who makes you an avatar. If you just pair up two laters then that wouldn't really be a surprise :?. And Im guessing its coming to the end so if you are allowed to enter I would hurry cus a lot of people finished days ago and will be pretty ticked off if they have to wait for late comers to finish. :wink: Im looking forward to seeing what people come up with cus theres gonna be soo many avatars :shock: .. hope it ends soon, hurry Nuzza heh..

hey I recon it would be pretty cool if someone would mix pixel characters with other sigs, instead of all this ripping conflict.. maybe not even pixel characters you could even just make your own characters on photoshop or anythin, I swear Ive said this before but remember what mrxman did with his dinosaur pencil sketches.. you should try that, if you cant draw yourself maybe get someone who can? Taking the best of both types of sigs 8) .. I know Id be happy making a plain character that people can use for sigs..

Just postin to say I just finished my avatar :D, you'll have to wait to see who I made one for.. OOOO the suspense 8) .

well I timed myself to see how quick I could draw something using only the mouse, It took me around 2-3 minutes and I was rushing the whole time which is probably why the background is just sketchy hints of things in the room. Its inspired by a girl I knew, trying to capture the feeling of a first date.. I dont know if it needs crits or anythin cus it was only really a set out to see what I can do when I limit my time.. I coloured it too in an extra minute or so, but I dun know if its any better.. comments or rating?
