World 99: Official TIF PC World!
hellbellz replied to The_Dragon_Reborn's topic in General Discussion
I dont get it... an offical pc world, over time, ppl will realize there is pc going on none stop with high levels, then millions! of low levels flood the games, world 78 being when pc came out that being the orginal offical world, and even though it started as only high levels, over time the millions of low levels win out and world 78 fell apart Don't remind me. -

Well.. It was the first cool theiving mini-game.

To start off, I'd like to say Jagex had a great year! January 14th, Mage Training Arena Jagex released a new mini game which helped players train their Magic level while having some fun! You have to complete different tasks to gain point in the four catagories (Graveyard, Telekinetc, Alchemist, and Enchantment). By gaining more points, you were allowed to get one of the many Mage Training items such as Infinity Robes, new wands, Mages Book, and one of the best spells in the game, Bones to Peaches! The arena is located behind the Duel Arena and it has some awesome rewards! March 15th, Recipe for Disaster! Recipe for Disaster was the 100th quest release of Runescape. It goes back to the roots of the first quest, A Cooks Assistant. You must save the table from the evil Necromancer by feeding them their favorite food, which you must learn is by completing side quests to eventually defeat the Necromancer. You got special gloves which looked like the armour (From Bronze all the way to "Barrows" gloves) which you had to buy. You also got cooking weapons. This is one of the longest & hardest quest in Runescape! April 18th, Pest Control! This is a fun, and exciting mini game Jagex released! You must work with up to 24 other partners to take down the portals which release the pests, and save the Void Knight. You must have 50 hits against the monsters/portals to get a point. With all the points you get you could get combat skill bonuses, herbs, coal, or even the Void Knight Armour! There came a new island along with the release of Pest Control. It contains a Range, Mage shop and also a bank! April 24th, Wilderness update A huge graphical update to the Wilderness. The Wilderness became much darker, and new lava has set the standards to more updates to come in the future. Six teleporters were added in various places. You must start them, and everyone who's in the Obelisk (teleporter) is teleported. The place you go is totally random, so you never know where you'll end up! PLAYER-OWNED-HOUSES!! Jagex released the LONG awaited Construction skill! This allowed players to make their own house, and put their own homey touches to them. You can put 20 rooms in your house, 3 stories, and loads of fun. The houses.. Did have some bad side effects, such as "The Massacre of 6/6/06" you can read into that into various locked threads (due to flaming, spamming, etc) if you can find them. The house recently had a Costume Room update where players were able to have more bank space, you can store costumes, capes, and random event items in them. The Construction skill was a major gp loss of Runescape. And for all the master Constructers got to build the most expensive item in their house - the Demonic Throne. Warriors' Guild Jagex's release of a combat guild. Your ulitmate goal here was to get the Rune Defender (A blade taken in the shield spot). You had to kill Cyclopes in order to get the Rune Defender. You must have a combined Attack and Strength level of 130 to enter. There were mini-games in order to gain Warrior Tokens. To get in the room of Cyclopes, you had to give 10 Warrior Tokens for every minute spent in there. You could make & destoy your own armour, play "Whack-A-Dummy", keep as many kegs on your head as you could, and the catapult mini-game. July 17th, Pyramid Plunder The first Theiving mini-game was released. Pyramid Plunder is a thieving minigame, players have a limited time to pick through tombs, sarcophagi and urns, dodging venomous asps, scarabs and even a few mummies. Master thieves can access more rooms, and faster XP. This has been a great way for XP for the Thieving skill. You can get some reward such as the Pharoe's Sceptre which can teleport you toJ alsavrah, Jaleustrophos and Jaldraocht. September 27th, Player Interface change Jagex released a cleaner, nicer form of the interface (Where your magic, prayer, stats, etc. buttons are). The bad thing is that the skills were orange, and no one liked pretty much.. With the exception of Who Le Ow. Jagex soon changed it. Old: New: November 21th, HUNTER SKILL! Jagex surprised me with this nice skill! The Hunter skill came out before the Holiday Season. It is a fairly nice skill with its innovative way of capturing creatures to create new gear, and new weapons. Hunter was the second skill of the year for 2006. It set some new lands for us Hunters to use to capture the critters. Unfortunantly, the cap of the highest thing you can hunt is fairly low, unlike other skills like Smithing. It's still a good skill though. December 5th, Treasure Trails! A new batch of Treasure Trail items was released! It gave some treasure hunters something to brag about, the Third Age Armour, currently the rarest armor in the game. They look very nice, especially the Melee full on female characters. The new TT items also released various other items: I made a thread all about them! New TT Items! - Oh snap. I'd like to say "Congratulations, Jagex" on making this a wonderful year for 'scapers.

Question: Least-Admirable Skill Cape
hellbellz replied to Lunar_Drifter's topic in General Discussion
If you plank your own logs with oak, yes it does take about 70m. But the way I see it, having the patience to plank ~217k logs is very, very admirable. If you just buy planks, however, it is about 120m. While the actual skill itself is very easy and fast, I think we have to look at more than just the xp you get per hour - rather how you got the money to pay for that xp. I think that's the admiral part of construction. And mind you.. In order to get 99 construction in four days, you'd have to play about 16 hours a day   WOW... That's all I can say is wow.. :wall: I'd say Cooking. Toast has it, and he's a noob, everyone knows. So whatever Toast = -
