Some key peices of armour which are commonly used in all types of Gwd Bosses, include verac skirt, helm, dfs, karils. The odd occasion you can use torag instead of other things, Zammy or Sara dhide is also very important in armadyl, If you dont want to get a DFS an Obby or even a granite will do.
