Am I the only Decent Person in RuneScape?
Yes, Mister Squid you are in fact a beacon of light, of hope in the collective community of Runescape. You are a god in the eyes of Jagex for taking your message of love and peace to the various cities of Gielnor, your only weakness being the fact that there is a sticky on the problem of people calling you names that would be easier to use then helping clutter the forum with tales of yourself being called a noob.

Strange, Recurring Theme in Famous Shows.
Was quite a few in the time ww2 was actually fought in the batman/superman/captain america titles. Captain America completely revolves around the fact that he was built as a super soldier in WW2 and then got frozen and came to our times.

Manga/Anime Discussion
I noticed that most of the good animes have only 26ish episodes. A lot of the longer ones drag out.

Final Fantasy Discussion thread
I'm still waiting patiently for Final Fantasy XIII...I have been trying to play FFX-2 but I don't need to see the people in my RPG's singing karaoke or whatever...it really pains me that all JRPG's having something in them that makes you cringe, another example being the KH2 Atlantis levels. Just what I want to do...not kill stuff and instead star in a musical...fun fun fun!

so pissed... (YES MAD)
I've always thought that the point behind clue scrolls was going on a treasure hunt for a bunch of (usually) random crap. Going into these things you should know you have a fairly slim chance of obtaining something valuable.

The historic 3,000 rant.
I don't think I need to respond to every sentence of that post, but let me say that that will post will go down in history as one of the most hilarious and stupid things I have ever read on the subject of December 11. 2007. I agree with Omali on his point about it being written by a ten year old. I laughed, I cried, and I lost 15 pounds. That is my review of that piece.

Once a great game. A story/Rant for veteran players.
Oh for Christs sake, seriously quit overemphasizing and being overdramatic over a video game (that's a lot of overs). Runescape never had a Golden Age, it has always had problems and will continue to have problems. No, the game never had a time when it was prosperous and seemed to be perfect. It has always had huge glaring problems and Jagex substituted five or six glaring problems for two huge problems, the economy and the loss of the wild. And of course, no one can be happy with anything Jagex does because that makes it too easy and gives us no reason to troll a forum on a game we hate and think has lost everything that made it good. So we use this forum for no other reason then to cry because we lost a game that apparently took up a larger portion of your life/time then a computer game should. No one should complain about a game as much as you and your fellow Runescape bashers do. It makes me honestly believe that you had no lives and were investing all your time into your avatars and playing so much that your eyes bled. Get off it. Get over it. What's happened has happened and it will never change back to the hellhole it used to be. If there ever was a golden age of Runescape it would be now. I don't care if ten other people who can't get over a change in a game a year and a half ago disagree with me, the game has changed for the better.

Will the real Bond please stand up?
On Her Majesty's Secret Service will only get a good score from me because I liked how bad he was in the role, and I liked seeing Bond read a Playboy IN A WAITING ROOM!

Will the real Bond please stand up?
-Sean Connery was a great actor and he was very good in every movie except for Never Say Never Again, which I try to disregard entirely. I believe he is the best Bond. -Lazenby was a terrible actor in a boring movie, and was basically there as filler for Connery. Least favorite. -Roger Moore used to be my favorite for the comedy, but anymore he seems too gimicky. He had some good movies and he had some really stupid ones. Third favorite. -Dalton didn't feel like Bond to me, his movies were a bit more violent and gory and didn't feel right, fourth favorite. -Brosnan is not a bad actor at all, but I think his movies got way too technological and lost a lot of the fun, adding a lot more serious tone that didn't fit in as much. I believe they tried to be serious, but a lot of times came off as stupid. Goldeneye was great but everything after that was not good. Fifth favorite. -Craig in Casino Royale was awesome. It was a remake and didn't come across as one, it felt different and worked! It had less gimicks, and seemed to make Bond into a more realistic character. Solace wasn't great, but it wasn't bad and the movie and was short and lame because of the writers strike, so hopefully his next movie will give him a better chance to shine. Second favorite. I'm a huge Bond fan and have seen every movie quite a few times. The favorites usually always change, Connery, Moore, and Craig are all usually on the same level for me. Pierce has just never appealed to me and neither did Dalton or Lazenby.

I don't get it...
Can I at least be considered an elf or a demon? I don't like living under the bridge in a box with my laptop and nothing to do but spew out my opinion on a rants forum!

Jagex, thanks for letting me down
I laughed harder then I have ever laughed. At first I was like, who is this idiot ranting about having nothing to rant about yet still ranting about something, and then I see a respectable member of the community and read the little print and laughed some more. And when I die I hope I don't remember this silly little computer game that some people act like is their life.

I don't get it...
Wait a second, I don't fit into any of the three categories. The first two numbers go hand in hand and I don't consider myself a troll or an "inbetween type". I post quite a bit but I don't troll, so your logic is kinda weird. I'll assume you place me in the second category though.

Yes well some people in here are total tight [wagon]. So unclench and relax. 8-) If we were tightening that much then we would probably be crapping ourselves by now...

Rumble in Mexico City
But oxygen masks? Yeah, I think it would be much better just to give the guy an oxygen mask then let him sit there and the main guy was also heading to a hospital for multiple injuries so the oxygen mask just helped with his breathing as well.

I don't get it...
Oh the good ol' rants forum, the only place you can find the word "unpucker" and "buttholes" used together in a reply.

Rumble in Mexico City
I'll update it soon, I just started High School so I am pretty stressed out and I still have an essay to do and three more chapters of notes and questions so hopefully every Saturday I'll be able to add a chapter or two to this. Thanks for the criticisms!

f2p need adjusting!
I'm getting mad because as a F2Per, I am being represented by the likes of you and other people complaining that F2P deserves more. One thing I might suggest to Jagex is that F2P needs an English class. What a fun quest that would be! And the final test will be, capitalize, punctuate, and use correct words to convey the meaning of a rant that is easily summed up by the words provided after you complete the test: "i know the game may seem exciting but it gets boring after you beat the main parts so i am ranting cause i am really of mad and they need more quest that are newer i mean mems have all of it i mean c'mon?!?nobody else cares about this they say become a member but i can't make enough money it life not that i want it cheaper i just want f2p to get exciting (playing for 3.8 years)" GOOD JOB! 100% And the reward? The satisfaction of knowing that by contributing five dollars a month to the Jagex Fund for the Jagex Personnel In Need you will get more quests, more weapons, more skills, and will be able to do something other then kill cows in Lumbridge on a F2P server! Seriously though, have you ever played a demo for a game? That's what F2P is, only slightly longer, slightly more updated, and a lot more deep. It is a taste of what you get if you pay the money.

I don't get it...
I do agree with you. I see this like you do, rants are easily divided into three categories, the third (the rant full of flaws) being the most prominent and the one that usually ends up with the biggest discussion, flame wars, so on and so forth. I can also identify people by their siggies and get an idea of what they are going to say. Quel, Canadian, Omali, most of the major posters on the TIF rants are easy to tell apart. Some things I hate are short, one sentence responses like "I agree with OP". I think if you are going to lend yourself to the discussion at hand you should flesh out why you agree or not, add a bit more to the conversation then add to your post count. I know debate is the more serious discussion, but I do believe that the rants should also display a lot more that we care. By writing a one sentence flame/agreement/disagreement, you lend nothing to an argument or anything. You are like the guys on the sidelines during a fight at school yelling random things at the combatants. Instead, why not join in the combat known as ranting? Next thing I am getting more annoyed by is this little warzone that has started up over the summer. Canadian Smurf and Quelmotz are the two I am speaking of (I am not afraid to name names, this is a serious discussion on the subject of this forum and I think people should know how others think of them). I have actually defended both parties, but I still feel there is no winner. The war has gone on with Canadian playing with the fire, mocking Quel, trying to start something, and then Quel continues on and it has gone on long enough. If I were a mod I would have been much stricter on those two and their flames because most of the time they were off topic and were destroying perfectly good threads. Another thing that's beginning to annoy me is the Wildy rants. December 2007 was more then a year and a half ago and this little thing continues. I seriously think that all the Jagex haters or people who continue to complain do not belong on a Runescape fan site to rant about old news and rant about how great the old days were. I think it's stupid and we have heard the cries enough. I want to see less JAGEX SUX and more constructive rants on newer problems. The rants forum (this only happens occasionally) also is prone to the troll and these are the people who can't put together a logical rant and curse you out when you tell them what's wrong with their piece. That is a trend that also needs to stop because we are here to share opinions, not start a huge cuss war when we are shown the problems with the piece we have written. The rants forum does need to change, it is bad when I know what to expect on a forum, I think rants is the only one I can wake up a week from not seeing it and say "Well there are these rants here, this person is starting a flame war..." Also, I work really hard to smith the logic hammer so I am glad people appreciate it :D Thanks!

Rumble in Mexico City
LLamster: My friend went and said the air was horrible. You have to have lived in those conditions to seriously not complain about it. Langzor: When another smell mixes with a smell your used to, it tends to make you smell the thing differently.

Why do people act like this?
The better question is, why does everyone who encounters someone who acts bad or talks bad have to make a separate thread for it when there is a player behavior sticky the mods were nice enough to give us?

Internet Memes
Can I ask if anyone finds them remotely funny? I understand where a lot of memes come from but I don't find them funny because people use them over and over again, people use them for no apparent reason, and it might just be me, but this stuff doesn't make me laugh.
