  1. You guys make it seem like recons going for headshots is a bad thing... The hit consistency of snipers is so bad that you pretty much HAVE to go for headshots to get a kill, even on hardcore, and especially on normal. The lens glare pisses me off tbh. Yea, it was made to counter-balance going prone, but even then recons are REALLY FREAKING OBVIOUS. We should have an attachment to rub dirt on the lens to dull the glare. <_< And yea snipers are the easiest to take out... They're usually just sitting there, not looking in your direction most of the time. I'll bet if you total up EVERY RECON DEATH since the game launched, the majority of them would be from snipers. I really miss BC2's style of sniping :-(
  2. There are many types of dragons. Fire (normal), Ancient (really freaking hard), Frost, Blood, Black, and Green (which can corrupt animals to make them attack you). I've found most dragons to be pretty easy if you just strafe their head and attack their sides. Being a werewolf is pretty sweet, since you can just howl and chase down anyone running away. And yes, you are 100% immune to disease when you become one. I had a run in with some giants when I was level 5 (level 20 now, haven't even gotten that one guy's horn from his tomb or whatever yet) that was pretty funny. I shot an arrow into one's face, THEN decided to save just as he started running towards me (bad bad idea) since I thought I would have enough time to run if things went south... they did. He stepped on me, died. Reloaded, sent my flying with his club, twice. Fourth time, I managed to sprint by, and started running. Out of nowhere, a second giant appears, and so does a sabre cat. Ran for my life towards Whiterun (I was just west of there I think), and hid in the moat at the entrance of the town. It was short enough that they couldn't get me, and I just filled them with arrows  Does anyone know if there is a level cap?
  3. I really only use recon for lulz, or to use the MAV to help out. Although even when enemies are spotted and near teammates, they still don't seem to care, or look at their maps. I've gone a round with 11 surveillance ribbons before
  4. Playing as a Nord, joined the rebellion . Made the mistake of attacking a giant for lulz. Saved just as it started running toward me, died, reloaded, died one second in, reloaded, sprinted past barely and ran away back toward White...whatever the name is (the city where you join the Companions), and hid under a bridge. Unfortunately, when I started running, a second giant appeared. I was scared lol. Hid under the bridge, which was short enough that they couldn't get me, and just filled them with arrows. Also, the first village I went to after escaping the jail, not even two steps in, I kill a chicken (HEY! THAT WAS A VALUABLE ANIMAL!) and the entire town wants to kill me. Laughed pretty hard at that. Note to self: Don't get close to a mammoth. The entire herd will mess you up.
  5. Just saying, I have yet to see anyone kill anything with a jet. Also sniper rifles, choppers, and mortars seem quite difficult to use well. I have been killed in under a second quite a few times because of folks who sneak up on me and loose a few bullets with a PDW or other automated weapon. Unlike BFBC2, there aren't really any buildings I've seen that you can just defend. I have only seen my friend get one, maybe two kills if he does nothing but fly the jet for an entire game of rush. And that's when we lost while defending. Snipers are really hit and miss with their damage consistency, since I've been killed in one shot by a MK11 MOD O (no headshot), and I've had times where it takes three hits to kill a guy with my SV98. Straight pull bolt doesn't affect damage, just makes it so you don't have to scope out to put another round in the chamber. Mortars are pretty simple, but you better hope someone else doesn't set up their own without you noticing, otherwise you're dead, since mortars appear on the radar constantly (which is pretty stupid IMO). Helicopters... well I have no idea. I'm ok with them, but I prefer ground warfare. Also, flares should come with a set amount, or a longer re-arming time. Can't shoot ANYTHING down with a stinger since by the time you're reloaded and locked on, the enemy has flares again. EOD boosters are more in Rush, while I imagine the nemesis boosters are in Conquest. Haven't seen those before.

Pretty good day. Was planning on stopping by the bank to get money for Skyrim and Sonic Generations, but I forgot the banks were closed, so I ended up getting just Skyrim with the money/in-store-credit/discount coupons I had lying around. Still a pretty successful day.
  7. Repair tools damage enemy vehicles
  8. Boosting is becoming a serious problem. It's pathetic in my eyes. No skill. I do my best to [bleep] up these people. Don't even care if I get kicked.
  9. PS3 or 360 glitch? 360. I have no idea about PS3 as I don't have one, or any friends that do.
  10. Found a pretty funny glitch with a friend of mine. Have one person get in a tank, and the other get on top. Have the outside person go prone in the main turret, so his head is in the machine gun bit (Abrams), or the back of the main turret (T-90), and have the tank fire a round. If done right, the person on top should go flying away, perfectly fine, unless they hit something lol. They just slide along the ground really fast, and can die if they hit something. Hilarious when we found out how to do it. We were messing around on Op. Firestorm, and he climbed on top, and I fired a round searching for enemies, and he went flying into a wall. We nearly died laughing.
  11. Don't you just LOVE it when you're sitting in the attackers spawn, helping your team with the MAV by spotting out enemies and getting a ton of points for it, then some random douchebag comes along and shoots you for NO [bLEEP]ING REASON? Dice needs to do something about this. If you're actually helping your team, and you get teamkilled for no reason, that person should get kicked, and demoted and lose weapons or something. Absolute bullshit.
  12. You have to search for hardcore games in the server browser. My guess is there aren't enough hardcore servers yet for there to be a quick match option to be viable and work. And yes, no hud except for minimap and squad, no killcam, less health, vehicles don't regenerate, nor does health, and enemy blips don't appear on screen, just on the radar. You do get a minimap though, which is kind of nice.
  13. This made me so happy. That is why I didn;t use them at all in BC2. ...Didn't they stay when you die in BC2 as well? Pretty sure they did.
  14. Entering and then leaving a game just because you're losing is fun...?
  15. Frag rounds just suppress the enemy, even though it seems like they should do a lot of damage... and flechette rounds would be used for when enemies are bunched up, but are only really useful for the faster shotguns (aka, not the 870 due to pump action). Just use it until you get IR scope, slugs, and extended mag, then go to town.
  16. [hide] [/hide] IGN.com Oh the fanboyism shown by IGN... it's appalling. And the bolded part in the last section, if true, just goes to show how much this franchise will be milked. If it isn't dry already. Oh man ten prestiges? Like they've never done THAT before!
  17. I think you mean 99 more service stars. Yes. 99. There is a secondary dog tag for reaching Engineer service star 100. Same for the other classes and vehicles. *imagines jet service star 100*. Get on Battlelog, go to your character stats, dogtags, scroll down to the bottom. Insane. I only have about 24 hours of play time, and my highest % is 38% for support, the others are all below 20%.
  18. Aside from a pretty weak ending, and no bullet drop in Thunder Run, I thought it was a pretty awesome campaign for a Battlefield game that wasn't Bad Company.

Does not compute. Today I move my bedroom downstairs. Will be nice to have some privacy. Only problem is there is a gas valve down there, right next to where my bed is going to be <_<
  20. I hope you mean shampoo. That is why they invented eyelids. Shampoo, yeah. It still manages to sneak into my eyes somehow when I shower (rare for it to occur now) and I have to spend some time washing my face before I can focus elsewhere. [hide][/hide] Immediately thought of that when I read this.
  21. If anything there is more strategy than before. "Twitch reflex" is only on the smaller, close quarter maps like Metro and Grand Bazaar, and even then it's not much. Yes there is squad deathmatch and squad rush. And yes, still more building destruction.
  22. That was awesome. Just wait for Conquest Assault, that won't happen too often unless your team really sucks.
  23. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TyN_Zjw4l-s So yea. SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONE- oh wait it's free. TAKE MY MONEY ANYWAY!
  24. That's what the weapon description is. Probably didn't want it too OP, so they split the Stinger and the Javelin apart for anti-air and anti-ground.
  25. When the "do a barrel roll" easter egg on google doesn't work for me. Also, whenever I try to click a link from google, it always redirects me for some reason. very annoying. Sundial ring.
