Word of the wise. Do NOT google images "Ulcerative Colitis." Have to wonder why you would in the first place  Just the "Inflammatory Bowel" part should deter you.
  2. The moment you have to defend a feature by saying it's realistic you know it's broken. Granted it would be nice if they applied a "same team" feature so when a teammate flashes it in your eyes, it doesn't affect you, but you could just shoot them when they do and claim you though they were an enemy since you couldn't see the blue blip due to the BLINDING LIGHT in your face. But that's just me.
  3. I always though PvE meant Player vs Enemy. Seeing as how the only things you can fight would be considered an enemy.
  4. I still think it's pretty stupid how snipers work in this game now. I shot a guy in the chest, and still didn't get a kill, but when he ran by a different time and I shot him in the leg, he died. Doesn't make a lick of sense. But I love my SV98  My next goal is getting the IR scope, extended mags, and slug rounds for the 870MCS. Thing is a sniper rifle in and of itself. And I believe if you look at a bright light through an IR scope in real life, you'd burn your eyes badly. So it only makes sense that a tactical light blinds you.

[hide][/hide] In other news... not much going on today except for my car having a flat tire, which means I won't be able to get to class tomorrow. A class in which I have a test that I can't make up because my teacher is a huge jerk. Legitimate excuse for not being able to get to class? Too bad, 0 on the test. Really hate his class.
  6. I think if they had implemented a way to allow a LAV into the map like they showed in the first multiplayer trailer that was based in Metro, it could be better. The LAV would work for every set of stations except for the third, which is why they probably took it out. It's a real shame.
  7. As long as it's hardcore, I like that map. It's hectic and fun once you get past the first set of stations. Why is it servers in the "East US" region have one bar of ping, but servers in Europe have four? Really annoying, since a lot of hardcore servers are in the east us.
  8. But... you're on the ground... How? I kind of like Seine Crossing, and am not a real fan of most of the maps... at least for playing conquest.
  9. Sometime before the new year. Thought I read in November sometime.

I'm sorry, but I hope it gets better soon. Ba dum tsh. I chuckled though. Today has been decent. First class was canceled, second was cut in half. So pretty much an entire day of relaxing
  11. Any idea if there is a site that will let you have your dog tags as a signature, and automatically update? I like my current one, just without the white... I don't have photoshop, and cbf with paint (lol). Also, my Battlelog profile.
  12. Just need to be careful of other mortars. If you can get them, they can get you, and it's almost always a "first one to fire gets the kill", although there have been times where I've traded kills with someone. Pro-tip, look in one area on the minimap, and if you see a white mortar blip appear for half a second, send a mortar there. That's where the enemy just set up a mortar position, allowing you to get them before they can get a shot off. Also, the game counts mortars as a vehicle for some reason.

Why does it seem like anyone driving a minivan is a complete maniac on the road? I swear, just today heading to class, a guy in a minivan was going 80 in a 55 (he changed lanes, ended up behind me, and then got stuck as someone pulled up next to him so he couldn't change lanes again. You could see how frustrated he was since I was going 55-60), and just getting off to turn onto the street that the university is on, there was a huge line of cars, and a minivan goes speeding by to the front of the line, then (illegally I'm pretty sure, since it was a one car turning lane) budges in the line, cutting off one dude and almost crashing into another. So many bad drivers in Iowa.
  14. Do you get more points if you do the missions on a harder difficulty? My friend and I did them all on easy (and still failed a few times  ) and only got to the KH2002.
  15. I thought you deleted your facebook a month or two ago?
  16. Getting pretty good at shooting down helicopters. Started a Rush game on Caspian Border, got in the tank, looked up and saw the Huey, said "Whats up bro?" Then shot it down  Mortars are pretty sweet. Only problem I have (more of an annoyance, since it keeps them from being so damn overpowered I guess) with them is that they are always on the mini-map, and since they are pretty accurate, you had better hope you kill anyone else with mortars (that are in range), since I guarantee you they are going to get you. I've had plenty of times where I've shot another mortar guy and we end up killing each other. Also had four times where a guy on THE OTHER SIDE OF THE MAP "killed" me. I just randomly die, and it says "[forgothisname] KILLED [sarg1010]". No weapon, no rubble from a falling building, no health displayed, nothing. It even did a killcam, when it was in a hardcore server with no killcam. For anyone wondering, the mortar display is a large map, and you move crosshairs over it to designate where to launch. Enemies that are spotted, or that shoot, appear on the map, which makes things easier to get kills. Pretty sweet
  17. Went 35-2 using tanks, with a 24 killstreak, 7 tank kills, one helicopter, and a JET. Yea, a jet. Was right at the end, and it was turning pretty low to the ground, which made it a big target. Was SWEET. God I love this game sometimes... Play conquest on Noshahr Canal, and try and get on the Russian team. The enemy almost always fly the Little Birds really low and very slow (since they are a bit hard to control I think), so they are easy targets for a tank shell. I almost always go positive when I'm in a map with tanks. On Conquest anyway (which is what my friends and I played all night.) But we still need more hardcore servers. Team deathmatch is pretty hectic. Small map, lots of people... Don't try and snipe.
  18. Really?... Gooooooooood goooooooood... About 2k away from unlocking them, will get tomorrow  Also, can't believe there are medals for playing 50 HOURS as ONE class, and there is a medal like that for each class, plus vehicles. Crazy.
  19. I hate when I'm doing amazing in a tank (15-1), and then bam, servers go down <_< Happens a lot too. Very frustrating...
  20. I have my old Beta-era SAW back  (Extended mags, holographic/ACOG/bipod with Ammo perk) Next unlock for Support are the MORTARSSSSSSS. I saw someone using it (actually, heard and saw the explosions) and it looks sweet  Team Deathmatch is pretty fun. Had a really hectic game on Grand Bazaar. The co-op in this game is pretty fun. Definitely worth the time. Plus you unlock weapons you will only get through co-op. It'll take a while though, since there are only six missions or so. I've beaten 4 and am just about to unlock the first weapon, which is the M##-Rex (the revolver). There are a bunch of other unlocks as well. Dice needs more Hardcore servers. I'm lucky to ever find even three open ones, and even then there are only about one or two spots open, which are immediately filled. Quick match always puts me in a normal server, which I don't really like.
  21. You get to spawn in the helicopters/jets from the spawn select menu. No real "rushing" required. And on most maps, the helicopters and jets spawn either far away from the action, in the "no mans land", or in the very back of the base that nobody goes to. It's when people get in a jet, die 30 seconds later by not being able to fly it, then WAIT IN THE SPAWN SELECT TO SPAWN IN IT AGAIN, is what's annoying. I'm telling you, pilot training course... seriously... Granted I wasn't much better at flying a jet my first time. Didn't even get a kill or anything, but I still managed to fly for a few minutes before being shot down by a stinger (stupid...). I didn't go hog-wild on the joysticks or anything, which is what it seems most people do. My friend on the other hand, who ended up on the enemy team and spawned in a jet by accident, was screaming "I'M IN A JET OMFG WHAT AM I DOING I DON'T KNOW HOW TO FLY THIS THING AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" It was really funny, especially since he was screaming before the match even started. He ended up crashing into a tower too, after about two minutes.
  22. Granted, flying a helicopter in BF3 is much harder than it is in BFBC2, but still. If you want practice, invite a friend and play Co-op, the Fire in the Sky (or whatever) mission where you pilot a helicopter the entire time. And I remember my first ever BC2 beta match. I was defending and we were pushed back to the third set of M-COMs, and the apache spawned, someone got in, lifted off, then did a vertical 180 and went back into the ocean. I was laughing and facepalming at the same time.
  23. DICE needs to implement a "flying course". You take a test before starting multiplayer, and it tests you to see if you can fly a helicopter/jet effectively, and without crashing within a certain amount of time. If you fail, you are barred from flying for a set amount of time (a week maybe?). That way we don't have complete idiots trying to fly a helicopter, only to veer left and STAY that way, and crash, killing everyone in the helicopter. And team kills shouldn't count toward your death amount. Just plain stupid.
  24. I can. It's actually VERY annoying now in normal mode, since there is still the damage inconsistency where sometimes it'll take 5 shots, others it might take two, and they can just duck down before you can hit them one more time. They are so freaking loud too when they miss, so if someone just sprays at you with the SVD, it can nearly blow out your speakers it seems like. What pisses me off now is that there isn't an option to find hardcore-only matches when doing a quick search. Most of the hardcore rush games in the server list are full half of the time... The servers went down yesterday for a while, and came back up around... 11:30 I believe? Central US time. Then had on and off lag during some matches.
  25. Just finished the single player. [hide]The ending was kind of meh. Sort of a cliffhanger, since we don't know what happened next, unless it is revealed during co-op (there is an achievement for disarming a bomb in 20 seconds so...). The "final boss" was just a bunch of QTE's, but oh well. I felt bad when Malchovic and Campo died. When I shot down the jet I went from "Heck yea! That was epic!" to "OH GOD NO!!!!"[/hide] Other than that, the graphics were pretty darn good for a console game. Had a minor issue during Thunder Run where the tank's turret kept sliding one direction and wouldn't stop. Was very frustrating. AND THE SHELLS DON'T HAVE BULLET DROP WTF. Messed up so many times due to that.
