Actually having to go to the rsof to try and buy anything, unless you went to W2. When having a whip, dragon platelegs, and verac's brassard with whatever for a shield meant you were a beast. Camping fire giants, hoping for that rare red helmet. Wearing a dragon chainbody meant you were filthy rich. Trading noted yew longbow (u)'s and bowstring and cash for completed bows. Also, the fletching guild. Whenever you saw a person wearing a monk's top, black dhide chaps, and a dragon scimitar automatically meant 'pure'. And much more.

I wouldn't "flip out" on her though. If she doesn't feel the same way about you, there isn't too much about it that you can do. And, correct me if I am wrong, but it seemed like you and her hadn't ever really spoken to each other much, just seen each other in a class. Probably not the best idea to ask out a girl that you haven't talked to that much. I would just wait and see how everything goes in the future.

That's a strange choice of parts. IMO you will get much better value for money if you go with a sandy bridge build. i5 2500s are the same price as i5 760 here, I assume it would be similar wherever you are. Then you could save some money by avoiding the 'specially designed' 1155/1156 ram and sticking to 1333 which will give the same performance, so then you can afford a decent graphics card. Just my 2c anyway. The special RAM thing is just marketing [cabbage], any pair of DDR3 sticks will work on a SB build. But I do agree, if you can get the 2500k for the same price it's a better option. You'll also get a lot more out of a 550 for about 20 more, but if you can't order from newegg, the 450 can handle most games at reduced settings. Not that this is entirely on this topic, but is there a website that sells computer parts? I know nothing of names or numbers, but I figure I may as well look at prices for parts. Today... was boring. Went to work. That's about it <_<

Honestly I wouldn't let it get in the way if I were you. If you have a nice personality, just play it off like it doesn't bother you. "Yea I have Tourette's, oh well." Be confident regardless of it. If anything, laugh it off if it embarrasses you. My two cents anyway.

An interesting read. It doesn't pertain to Battlefield exclusively, but to the FPS genre as a whole. And it also brings up a good point about Battlefield 3. [hide] [/hide] From IGN.com It does bring up a good point... so far, although there HAS only been one level, BF3 seems like every other FPS out there, even with epic graphics...

Speaking of... I've worked 15 hours in the past... 29 hours. With no shower inbetween, so I smell like a fryer, and I am exhausted. BUT just means I get more money so...

Does it block all the damage from a claws spec or only the first hit? Does it block veng/ring of recoil damage done to you? Wouldn't the first hit be 0 anyway, making the rest of the hits be 0 as well?

The Huey is so terrible though... a determined Assault class can even take it down with only a rifle after a few clips. Everything else is pretty good though. The PTB's are fun to drive, and even moreso to shoot the front machine gun. For lol's, I like to get in the rickshaw and just drive around trying to dodge fire. Very funny, especially if you get two squadmates to be engineers and fire rockets around as you drive. :thumbup:

VERY MUCH THIS KTHNX Also, in class when people read at a rate of a word every few seconds. Torture. And it's always these people that volunteer to read aloud during class. I hate reading aloud in class in general... Whenever the teacher partners us up and gives us something to read, I just put it in between my partner and I and read silently. It REALLY annoys me when the teacher asks us if we are reading said article. We aren't in elementary school, we can read in our minds, thanks.

As Nadril said in this thread a while ago, single player campaign for a multiplayer game. And that one at the end looked like it could be good if they showed more of it. Hell, I'll be ecstatic if the campaign has decent AI that doesn't shoot at you when you stick a toe out from behind cover. THAT is what pissed me off so much in BC2. The ally AI would be out in the open shooting (and missing) while I was cowering behind a stack of boxes, and the MOMENT I pop up, red screened. Such BS.

Can anyone explain to me how do install mods for this game? I watched a video of one called Imperial Lands, and it looks pretty interesting, except I have no idea how to install the mods needed to play it.

If you want, I've subscribed to a guy who has played and video'd the first three campaign levels. You could watch those (and ignore the talking if you want) and judge it yourself that way. Unless you are talking about multiplayer, of which I've seen nothing of. WATCH AT YOUR OWN RISK. [hide] [/hide]If you want to watch them, those are the first three levels. He said he was going to do a complete play through and vid it, but so far he hasn't updated anything.

I've seen a few videos of the first few campaign levels, and it looks like another CoD clone to me :-? It has an interesting plot, and some of the scenes that have been played out are cool, with some WTF moments (on the bus on the first level, when you turn left at a corner. :shock:), but other than that it doesn't look like anything too great or different. I haven't seen, played, or even heard much about multilayer, so I can't comment on that. I might get it a little later on, but right now I'll stick to drooling over Battlefield 3 videos :unsure:.
