Ok. Sold a paintball gun for $350 and am wondering... Should I get a 10 piece lock-picking set, or a new knife (kukri or a kbar.) [hide] vs. vs. [/hide] My friend broke my other survival knife (threw it like a throwing knife and it shattered). And my friends have decided we are going to be a "Team", one has guns, another is good with computers and such, another can drive really well, and I will know how to pick locks and such. :thumbup: Oh and any money let over will be saved.

Spoilars from the books, and a bit on Halo Reach below. [hide]There are a few that survive in other books I believe. Ghosts of Onyx and Cole Protocol show it I think... Maybe not Ghosts though... since that is where the Spartan III's are introduced. Also, the new batch, dubbed Spartan III's have survivors as well, seeing as most were wiped out as well... during an attack on a Covenant Ship Re-fueling station if I remember right. Spartan III's are a "cheaper, expendable" version of the Spartan II's. All of Noble Team are S3's, except Jorge, who is a S2. The S3's were trained by... ah crap... what was his name... KURT! Yes, Kurt, a former blue team member that served alongside John 117. I haven't watched Halo: Legends, or read any of the novels (graphic or otherwise...) so I have no idea if those show any. [/hide]

I would just stop texting her as often. Still text, but take a little longer each time until she asks why you aren't texting as often, then tell her it's because it's getting expensive or something. That shouldn't really create any problems right?

The thing is... how long has it been since Disney actually show cartoons (like rolly polly olly?) I thought it was all live action stuff. Same with nickelodeon... and Cartoon Network. Liking actual CARTOONS is OK (like spongebob, ed edd n eddy, etc.), but the stuff they've replaced them with isn't that great, and is aimed more towards younger teens. And twilight? My rule is that if you are a guy, and WILLINGLY read the books/go to the movies, then I take away two of your man cards. If you are forced to (usually by girlfriend/ girl friend), then it's OK. That's just me though.

Off Topic. The real-life section. I check out General Discussions once in a while, just to look at the pictures, since there doesn't ever seem to be anything else to look at here really.

This. Get XBL/PSN/Steam/whatever, go outside, get a job, girlfriend, go out with friends. JUST STOP PLAYING. Coming back on once in a while is ok, but once you stop playing, you realize just how boring the game is. The game is stupid, and a time waster. When I quit RS back in December, I got XBL (finally), and started playing with some other guys at school. Eventually we all became friends and played all of the time. Around February, I got a girlfriend. Best time of my life. Prom, kissing, having fun, dates. All of that. While I was playing RS, I was ~220 lbs. After quitting, I started losing weight and working out. I am now at a comfortable 182 and am relatively strong. I have a job (something I probably wouldn't have if I still played), and am saving for a Jeep. When I played RS, I never went outside, never talked to friends, anything. As soon as I got home, I sat down, turned on the laptop, and wouldn't leave the chair until I went to bed. Eventually, the game just turns into a giant grind, you don't feel the fun you used to Granted, I did come back and play for a bit when D'eering came out, but even that lost it's fun. This is the point you need to tell yourself to stop. Getting on once in a while to see how friends are doing, talking, maybe do a few things, but otherwise just do something else.

Fable 2 was my first step into the Fable games, and I quite liked it. The swamp section scared me a bit, but mostly because I hadn't ever seen a Banshee before lol. I quite liked it, and since I've never played the first one before, I guess I can't see how it was crap compared to the first one (although the ending was meh, just kind of stopped, with not much to do after). Also, if Theresa is returning... what is going to happen with The Spire?

It'll be on the PC I think. Bound to be people that will mod their own weapons into it. Yea probably... but I won't be getting it for the PC :-# Xbox most likely. I've never gotten too much into PC gaming except for RTS games, which don't really seem to work too well on consoles.

We don't use shields right...? Might as well go all out on an epic scimitar or something cool like that. Or that scythe that you mentioned.... would be epic. I doubt this would really happen, but it would be nice... what if we could contact... (fable's developers) and CUSTOM ORDER a weapon specifically for you? I can't help but think that would be awesome... if only...

Go look at some of his posts in the Halo thread. BE AMAZED. From what I've read in OXM, and this, I'm probably going to be getting it. Dang, between Halo reach, Call of Duty Black Ops, and a few others games I have my eye on, this is going to be one crazy fall/winter...
